This song is the main reason I've never learned to drive. If I did, I'd drive around the city at 100 miles per hour listening to this song and trying to do insanely cool stunts, which would probably get me in huge trouble.
I still contend that R.O.D is the best English dub in existence. Kimberly Yates' performance of Yomiko is seriously one of the most gravitating English performances I've seen in an anime. It's so natural and believable.
+Omlás Give them credit, The Dub wasn't as bad as most of the ones from the year this series came out. In fact i agree with OP.. don't hate dub just because you're a sub hipster. Honestly I love Subs more then dubs most time.. BUT THIS DUB WAS EPICLY GOOD.. a couple lines of Maggie weirdness aside.

But with this, I really wouldn't mind watching straight through, opening and fucking everything that comes afterwords. Oh my Goddess this is a magnificent OP. SERIOUSLY.
I'd love for their to be a third series. Personally I really enjoyed ROD the TV through to the end even though I missed out on references as I only watched the OVAs afterwards.
And I thought Shiro Sagisu did that both in John Williams and Bernstein's face with his Evangelion and Macross soundtrack. Oh, well I guess then this theme takes the cake. Good enough for me. XD
There is no background music that plays in the collective suicide scene of the analyzers found dead by Jocker's secretary (OVA Ep.3), it is actually atmospheric instrumental music. The album with fourteen tracks did not include this beautiful performance. I LOVE that sound, the feeling it expresses is so deep. By any chance is there a collection that has this specific track?
