Contemporary Connosax

The Connosax in Classical music is as comfortable and capable of playing contemporary music with extended techniques as it is with traditional music.
I just recorded a CD of music for saxophone and organ (connosax and soprano saxophone) that will be released in the next few months. One of the works, "Variations on Amazing Grace" (originally for english horn) by Calvin Hampton has a section utilizing glissandi, multiphonics and other extended techniques. Here is a short video introducing the work, along with the variation utilizing the new techniques.

Alas, no straight baritone. Only straight tenors and altos.
