[HD] Amtrak along the Hudson River- Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park, NY

Episode #10 of the "Fall Railfanning" Series.
I took a trip to Hyde Park, NY this weekend to Amtrak's "Empire Corridor". I started my trip in Poughkeepsie, NY were I saw a northbound "Empire Service" train. I then went to Hyde Park, which is about fourteen minutes north of Poughkeepsie. I railfanned at the bottom of the Vanderbuilt Mansion along the east bank of the Hudson River. The Vanderbuilts originally created the New York Central Railroad, and the ex-NYC line runs right through the property. Happy Thanksgiving!

Very nice! I have wanted to go to that area for a few years, since there's trains on both sides of the water.
