Basically paying him for to teach lol and we got killed last years in bunch formations; scorched actually so nickel will be very important! Great vid! 🔥

To me, the awkwardness in Jalen’s press conferences with questions regarding Nick seems like it comes from him being vigilant about journalists trying to stir things up
The issue with Moore is whether he has any flexibility in his play calling. It was just OTAs, so maybe making 95% of the playbook new is just because it's early. Hurts was an MVP runner up in 2022, with a fantastic offensive gameplan. In 2023, the offense was pedestrian, but we still put up 24 ppg. If Moore doesn't layer in things Jalen did well in 2022 and 2023, and makes it 95% new sets, then Kellen isn't doing himself nor Jalen any favors. That's what I'm not feeling good about. I just hope it is so early that the familiar sets haven't been introduced yet.
Hall is making the team, as usual said they paid extra for him. I’ll go with Slay, Rodgers, Mitchell, Dejean, Hall, Stephens, Ringo make the final 53. Maddox and the new guy, Nickerson can be practice squad depth that we can elevate. The rest of em can go. They were UDFAs after all, no ties to em after year 3. Keep the guys that have the traits over the guys everyone else passed on too:-)

I hope this is not the narrative. But I am tired people raising questions about his "processing".
No matter what these dudes do, they just can’t win in the eyes of the media. Jalen Hurts, answered a question. It just so happens to be a question on a lot of peoples minds. With so much experience and leadership in the coordinator positions, we are at the opposite situation that we were in last year. Right now, Sirianni is already acquainted with the team and most of the players aside from any new additions. The players need to be working with the coordinators. Siriani will help keep everything headed in the right direction, keep things cohesive, and I think his day-to-day operations will increase as the season approaches. But right now the coordinators need to be the ones who are hands-on. If I were Jalen or any other players, I would just respond by letting them know that he still the head coach and he’s still running the ship. But right now players are working closely with coordinators as there are a lot of changes. These reporters ask questions like this so they can get good soundbite and get clickbaity headlines. The Bradberry situation is just like anything else in the business. If you go to your job and you’re not performing well, you can’t just tell your boss, “well if you think back to 2022, I was a good employee then!” NFL is a business. It ain’t about Bradberry being a good person…It’s about Bradberry being a good football player.
I wouldn’t say Jalen is on the hot seat. I would say he’s closer than you want to give credit. Part of the reason they signed Smith and Brown so early, besides beating/erupting the market, was to tell Jalen that these guys are here to stay. Hurts may well be gone before their contracts are up. Signing Barkley only solidified this. We’re in to win. Hurts needs to step up in a lot of ways because his play and attitude, which can’t be all blamed on the staff, won’t win a Super Bowl.
Question: Jalen Hurts isn't tall. Don't you think his short stature is a detriment to him being a quarterback who can throw quick passes? He can't see over the line. He needs to drop back, play needs to develop for him to see around offensive line
All I have to say is Doug Flutie!! When he came out of BC, they said he was "Too short and had small hands.and couldn't play in the NFL!!" This after winning the Heisman trophy!!
1. Hurts has no problem seeing over the line 2. All QB's dropback and set their feet when throwing a pass especially when you're throwing Vert all game 3. A QB's job is literally to let a play develop to get full success off the play..... You don't just say Hike, don't move then throw the ball to whoever's running
So im starting to have a different perspective about our db more importantly cb room.. so weve all been hype because for the first time in my 33 years we "seem to have to many options at cb and were going to have to cut someone we think is good or has potential" which up until now ive been on that same side, i was even crazy enough to want to include slay in a bradberry trade (although i think slay will be much better this year)... But lets be real and put our emotions aside.. seems almost every week or sooner we bring in another cb to "compete" im all for competition but if its as tight as we think it is at db why do we keep bringing more in?
Because all teams sign players for OTA's when you're allowed a 90 man camp..... Ever heard the term "The more competition the better" because i've never heard Less competition makes you better
I think there are 2 things at play with Jalen and Nick. For one, they are complete opposites personality wise. Jalen stoic, Nick emotional. Which makes it hard for them to connect on a personal level & I don’t think Jalen sees a leader in Nick. I think he sees a liability. If he can’t call an offense nor can he diagnose problems on defense he’s essentially a cheer leader which makes it hard for them to connect on a professional level. Jalen is trying to be great consistently and I think he knows he can’t do that with Nick at HC.
All 3 of you are far AF from being right and you saying Nick don't know his role was already proven to be Bs by Jason Kelce who praised Nick and said he prefers his HC to have 1 role... LEADING THE TEAM Which one of you know more football and about the Eagles then Jason Kelce?🤡
@@couragethecowardlyzack oh ya? Ask Kelce who he thinks is a better coach. Reid or flipping Sirianni. Also a big caveat to having a HC that runs the team is that the offense/defense is still THEIR scheme and the coordinators just run it/make little tweaks. Not completely overhaul it every 2 years.
@@aryehpaulwalter7520 Did Jason answer that question to you because he's never even answered it on New Heights.... How long have you and Jason been close friends that he tells everything to?
Josh you’re Dead On about how Jalen appears to be choosing his words wisely when talking to the Horrible Philadelphia media. Those guys seem like no matter how good our teams are they do their best to try & tear them down
If Eagles succeed they're not getting rid of Sirianni and Moore won't have a HC opportunity anywhere after this season. It'll take at least 2 successful seasons for Moore to get some consideration
The one mistake the Eagles made was not getting rid of Siri. THAT is going to hurt the team. The OC and DC are great choices, but keeping Siri??? It doesn't fit. They shoulda cleaned house COMPLETELY.
Cant stand Siriani right now but not quite sure what his job is. What in game decisions is he making? If hes just a cheerleader, he should be gone... we'll find out
First of all Siriani is the head coach so why would Jalen talk against him he's the head coach and Jalen is paying more attention to Kellen Moore's coaching and it's Kellen Moore who's calling what plays to play and that's what Jalen is learning and I do hope Kellen Moore let Jalen run because that's apart of his game but social media needs to take things as they literally are not read what's not said, that's like a person putting words in another person's mouth or lieing on the person that's so pathetic stop it. YESZER GO EAGLES YESZER!
Why are you talking about RG when he's been playing LG??? Where was this energy last year when Jurgens was getting pancake in real games??? I got to know
@@TrumaineLove Jurgens was not trash at RG. He was pretty good but he did have some difficult moments. He’s a true center, he’ll be fine. @unspokenwords5284 I’ve been wondering the same thing. Every clip I’ve seen showed Bechton playing LG. I hope they’re looking at him at RG but so far I haven’t seen that but everyone is talking about him as if he’s competing to start at RG.
What the hell is wrong with Goodell and his staff? Crime is out of control in the streets. The government has given the citizens the ability to run over robbers and many of the citizens are armed. It was a terrible decision which I hope they change because the situation in Brazil is going to get worse.
Best case scenario this year from a coaching perspective is the offense does very well but they lose first round of the playoffs and they fire Nick and retain Kellen as the head coach. I’ll be pissed off if they have a good season and they keep Nick and Kellen gets a head coaching job elsewhere. Nick should already be gone
Lmao Herbert's quick decision making? Those were plays made for a baby to understand,, gonna snap the ball and on your 4th step you immediately throw to this wr in the exact area and your wr will be there. Noone would ever say he was not good in Dallas.
I cant stand all the nick talk. Nick to me is a good HC. I like him. No matter wat his value on O is his value to this team is obviously pretty good. U know how msny teams would love to have nick and his success!?!? Oh wat does he really do, how about takes us to the playoffs and a SB appearance
My problem with Jalen has more to do with his overall lack of energy. He seems depressed & brooding. Regardless of what he said or didn’t say about Nick, he brings me down. I loved watching every single player interview except for Jalen. Everyone else seems so excited & engaged. I thought it was an oddly worded question but just his overall demeanor is bad. He’s not a true team leader. It’s his true personality, I get it, but it’s not great for the QB position. I’m not the type to blame the media for everything because ultimately it’s the players & coaches job to communicate through them & to the fans. AJ has adapted extremely well for example.
You're trying to say he's not a team leader meanwhile every player on this roster calls him the leader of this team.... Makes perfect sense since you're obviously Howie Roseman and no more about the Eagles then they players do
@@couragethecowardlyzack ehhh… I understand your defense mechanism as a fan, I try to fight that myself. Sure… when players/coaches/managers are questioned about Hurts, they have a duty to talk well of QB1. And I do think that the players like Hurts as a guy. That doesn’t mean that he’s a leader. It’s why you hear players talking about taking on more of a leadership role. And there were reports that the Eagles brass wanted him to take on more of a verbal role. Hurts is the silent (lead by example) type, which is great if he wasn’t QB1. The job description is pretty clear. In addition to making the right throws & managing the game, you must also be able to motivate & even criticize teammates when necessary. While another player could get away with sitting on the sideline stoic & reflective, a QB1 should be engaging with players & coaches. Viewing the iPad to try & gain an advantage or to figure out what went wrong. Jalen is apparently a very good guy, but he’s not currently cut out for the entire job. Maybe he’ll continue to grow into it. I hope.
@@MikeW_is_entertained Bro did the Eagles players not bash Carson Wentz when he was our QB1? No player has any obligation to any of their teammates unless they admire and respect that player. You know you're weird AF when you think any type of player has to be a certain type of way just to please fans or the media.... Hurts is a human being and the person he is on the field is the person he is off the field.
I'm going to keep saying this. Nick should not be here, period. Fangio controls the defense. Nick has no say in that. Kellon Moore has control of the offense, again nick has no say. This is going to be a problem. I don't mean to be negative, but this will be an issue.
A lot of head coaches have coordinators do same Mike Tomlin for one. So it's no big deal as long as coordinators do well and head coach needs to oversee that
Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh have been with their respective organizations for an extended period, achieving remarkable success, including winning Super Bowls. Both organizations are known for their conservative approach to coaching. Sean McDermott frequently faces criticism due to the team's defensive performance. Kevin Stefanski, an offensive-minded coordinator, is responsible for calling plays. Dan Campbell, a former player, has a genuine connection with his players. The partnership between Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes is highly effective due to their shared values and positive attitude toward the game. As for Nick Sirianni, while he has the potential to emulate Mike Tomlin's success, he must first demonstrate growth, humility, and leadership qualities rather than solely acting as a cheerleader for the team.
@@solomondonaldson1995 So because Tomlin have won SB's over a decade ago they should still be praised when in reality neither have won divisional Rd playoff games in over 5+ years Sirianni is literally being bashed for his defensive teams failures just like Sean when Sirianni doesn't control the defense either Stefanski has NEVER led his team anywhere near a SB regardless of his "Offensive mind" Dan Campbell and Nick Sirianni are literally the same exact coach with the same exact roles the difference is Sirianni has been to a SB, Sirianni's players respect him just like Lions players respect Dan You're literally making excuses and none of them are good bro

1. Hurts has no problem seeing over the line
2. All QB's dropback and set their feet when throwing a pass especially when you're throwing Vert all game
3. A QB's job is literally to let a play develop to get full success off the play..... You don't just say Hike, don't move then throw the ball to whoever's running
If we have a season like the end of last year do we draft a QB?
Hurts wasn't the issue last year.... It will be new coaching staff and if they fail again with a new staff it'll be new QB
Does a principal (siriani) still teach?
To be honest I don’t see this offense really hit it potential not until the second year if Kellen Moore is still there
Jalen basically explained Nicks role.
90% agree
Completely agree. Nick is useless and is a liability
All 3 of you are far AF from being right and you saying Nick don't know his role was already proven to be Bs by Jason Kelce who praised Nick and said he prefers his HC to have 1 role... LEADING THE TEAM
Which one of you know more football and about the Eagles then Jason Kelce?🤡
Those guys seem like no matter how good our teams are they do their best to try & tear them down
Drama sells
God bless Josh. Now he could be on the sideline.
I sincerely believe Jalen was confused by that question. But listening to that man speak to the press is worse than watching paint dry.
I spelt Goddard wrong my bad. Lol
we might have 15 guys now at CB just wait til mid season
The whole "don't wear green in Brazil" discussion is completely ridiculous. There won't be any problems with wearing green.
This is Sirianni’s last year. HC job is Kellen’s to lose. Calling it! Sirianni doesn’t do anything.
Very good possibility
If Eagles succeed they're not getting rid of Sirianni and Moore won't have a HC opportunity anywhere after this season. It'll take at least 2 successful seasons for Moore to get some consideration
GOOD show
Thanks!!
The one mistake the Eagles made was not getting rid of Siri. THAT is going to hurt the team. The OC and DC are great choices, but keeping Siri??? It doesn't fit. They shoulda cleaned house COMPLETELY.
Literally led the team to a SB in 2022. Gotta give him another year to get it together.
Cant stand Siriani right now but not quite sure what his job is. What in game decisions is he making? If hes just a cheerleader, he should be gone... we'll find out
@@barneyrubble4827Imagine thinking you know more about Football then Jason Kelce🤣💀🤡
I hope Parker don't end up leaving after one year like Steichen and Gannon.
It’s a real thing for soccer teams, let’s hope the green thing gives American football a pass.
Could I possibly join your podcast for a day and ask some questions on my personal eagles account
Jalen aint got time for what yall did to AJ he is choosing his words wisely to avoid any conflict…
Hurts is accustomed to coaches actually coaching and calling plays
Mailata at QB, Becton at RG, goal line sneak...
Big Dom should just put pads on at this point and tackle the other teams players
I’m keeping hall and cutting McPherson.
They drafted Zech so that ain't happening

Hi Josh. Your wife and I. Have the same birthday!
No way! Happy belated Birthday! 🥳
Hurts has had to deal with different Offensive coordinators every year he has been an Eagle🤔
I got to know
Jurgens was trash at guard. Think he'll be great at back at center.
He’s gotten some reps at RG 🤷🏼♂️
@@TrumaineLove Jurgens was not trash at RG. He was pretty good but he did have some difficult moments. He’s a true center, he’ll be fine.
@unspokenwords5284 I’ve been wondering the same thing. Every clip I’ve seen showed Bechton playing LG. I hope they’re looking at him at RG but so far I haven’t seen that but everyone is talking about him as if he’s competing to start at RG.
@@MikeW_is_entertainedHe's competing at LG, Steen & Hennessy have been @ RG
Honestly Pickett could be a reliable QB that could win Superbowl. Just saying. Hurts ain't Kellen Moore guy
Makes ZERO sense
Everybody in Rio need to grow up the green thing is ridiculous
What the hell is wrong with Goodell and his staff? Crime is out of control in the streets. The government has given the citizens the ability to run over robbers and many of the citizens are armed. It was a terrible decision which I hope they change because the situation in Brazil is going to get worse.
Both teams can wear there color rush jerseys black for eagles white for packers
Just keep the main thing the main thing....
Hi Josh
Hello
Best case scenario this year from a coaching perspective is the offense does very well but they lose first round of the playoffs and they fire Nick and retain Kellen as the head coach. I’ll be pissed off if they have a good season and they keep Nick and Kellen gets a head coaching job elsewhere. Nick should already be gone
Moore ain't getting a HC job after 1 successful season genius especially when Ben Johnson is still in Detroit
The medua sucks, blood thirsty drama manufacturers
The Jalen stuff is stupid! He didn't say anything negative.
All the Bradbury hate is ridiculous, yea he sucked last year but he has it in him to rebound
So it's no big deal as long as coordinators do well and head coach needs to oversee that
So Dan Campbell,Mike Tomlin,John Harbaugh,Sean McDermott & Kevin Stefanski all need to be fired.... According to you?
@@couragethecowardlyzackalso Andy Reid. He was always great a Delegating
@@solomondonaldson1995 So because Tomlin have won SB's over a decade ago they should still be praised when in reality neither have won divisional Rd playoff games in over 5+ years
Sirianni is literally being bashed for his defensive teams failures just like Sean when Sirianni doesn't control the defense either
Stefanski has NEVER led his team anywhere near a SB regardless of his "Offensive mind"
Dan Campbell and Nick Sirianni are literally the same exact coach with the same exact roles the difference is Sirianni has been to a SB, Sirianni's players respect him just like Lions players respect Dan
You're literally making excuses and none of them are good bro
The whole not wearing green is a Lie. I swear it's a lie. No gangs worth worrying about💯💯💯
I’ll take Jalen over Sirianni all day, every day!
I hope Jaylin fixes his hairline just like they are fixing the offense 😅
😂
We need to move on from Bradberry. Moving to safety is not goof. Being a former safety myself his physicality isn't there.
It's just stupid about Brazil. Everyone can use whatever they want. I'm Eagles fan and gonna use my green jersey. Don't care about Corinthians fans
Joe Decamera is always looking to stick Hurts. It’s getting to be a real turn-off.
