- Eagles CB Zech McPhearson joined the show to discuss his recovery from an Achilles injury last preseason and is now setting his sights on making the Eagles roster and in a crowded cornerback room during Training Camp. The Eagles drafted rookies Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean to add needed depth at the position, but McPhearson's experience at special teams and his ability to play the nickel could be a big boost to the Birds’ secondary. During the interview, McPhearson also talked about the Eagles collapse last season, Nick Sirianni and Vic Fangio as well as James Bradbery moving to Safety.

I ended my basketball career on a tib/fib horrible break. I feel so bad for these guys because I know exactly how that slow process feels. I commend them for doing the work to get back to playing at a high level again. It is tough on the body but almost even worse on your mind after an injury like that

It’s crazy how many corners they have. I was super disappointed last year when Zech got hurt I thought he had a real chance of being our nickle. Unless Maddox gets hurt I just can’t see how he makes the 53. Great interview you asked good questions

It’s more likely Josh Jobe, Mekhi Gardner, Maddox and the new additions from the last few months go and some come back to the practice squad. When it comes down to it Dejean probably will be outside by the end of camp as a primary back-up.

I wouldn't say that. He's been a solid player. He could be cut simply because of the depth but he could make it too. Mitchell, Slay, DeJean,Maddox,Rodgers,Ringo,
McPherson and then one more, either Rick's or Stephens is my guess.
