I was wondering if they were ever going to resume the names at E.T.! So glad to hear they’ve brought that back finally! 💕
I just wanted to say thank you again for the Tips. They helped out a lot on our recent trip to Universal Orlando. Really a great guy too, lucky enough to talk to him in person
Thank you so much Rick! This will really help. It was nice seeing you in march. Happy 2022. We might come January
i am saving money for my family to have fun because they deserve this, and i am watching these early so i can be hella prepared, thank u for these videos, so cool!
Best Universal vlogs hands down! You and Nikki are the best! 😊
Thanks Jackie!
Love the useful tips you always provide! Happy New Year! 🎉💝🥳
I appreciate your honest opinions. I agree with everything you said. Just got back from Mardi Gras. It was fun & stress free. My daughter was fortunate enough to get us picked to ride on a parade float. It was fun being part of the parade & throwing beads. We saw you & waved hello. We could tell you were leaving the park so we didn’t ask you to pose a for pic. We got to meet Theme Park Express Adrian & Koda since they were in the same parade as us. We had such a great time.
Thank you for the updates!
Another perk of having a preferred level seasonal pass is that you get a discount on all food and drink at Universal, even at the resturants in the hotels and on CityWalk. Also a discount on souvenirs.
We live in Texas but come several times a year and only one of us gets the preferred pass since we can all still use it for the discounts.
Happy new year and thanks for all the great videos through out the year
Thank you so much for all you do! My travel buddy/ emotional support Slytherin said “hi” at the Supply Vault today but I had wandered off like a Hufflepuff does so I missed you 😂 You really helped us plan our trip and get the most out of our visit so we appreciate it 😊
thank you for this rick! we’re coming over in november from england for our fourth time! happy new year!
Great to know all the tips for this. We plan on taking a trip in March.
Happy New Year to you both Nikki and Ric ! Looking forward to seeing you very soon !! Warmest regards Albus
The Mummy is one of our favorite rides so good to know! It was in need of updating and fixing though so it's all good.
Thank you for this!
You guys are great. Planning our first trip in 2 week. Thanks for the tips.
Awesome video!! 💛😊 You guys are amazing! Thanks for all you share with us! PS: Loved that endings with the characters! 😍
Thanks for the tips! Going early September. Can’t wait!
Thanks for these tips! I am considering a trip to Universal Orlando Resort in summer of this coming year, so I might use everything I learned here.
BTW, this was my first full year with this channel, and I am glad you became part of my life! Thanks for the videos, and I look forward to more in 2022. Happy New Year!
Happy new year rix and Nikki best for both channels in 2022 and the future
Binge watching for our trip this June!
The vip tour was the BEST decision we ever made. We were able to get one every single ride we wanted in one day without waiting for anything and the food and behind the scenes stuff was AMAZING
How do you get that option?
Yeah how do you get that
Thank you for the info! I'm looking forward to trying to make it from Canada in February!
My husband and I are going for the first time in May, and this comes in so handy for us. Thank you for making videos like this! We want to have the best time we can!
We're going next week! Hope you have fun!
Great video. I'll have to bookmark this one to watch again before heading to Orlando in 44 days!!!!
Thanks for the videos I’m trying to plan a surprise trip for me and my wife. And all this information is great!

Didn't know I could recharge the Cola Cups! Thanks Rick!
I will be here this year during Mardi Gras!! Can’t wait 🎉
Just renewed my AP! Looking forward to another 15 months of trips!!
Thank you for all you do Rik and Nikki :-)
When we were there the best time for the xmas holiday items it was great coming and staying at the universal hotel just after Thanksgiving and before mid Dec. and it was awesome because we didn't have to deal with heavy crowds and wait times weren't high at all.
Amazing video! I am taking my wife here in December and I am a Disney know - it - all but Universal I hardly know anything! I want this to be an incredible vacation and videos like this help :)
Best ever review/tips
Thank you idk if you seen my comment asking about this but thank you love your videos
I loved when you guys apparated into Diagon Alley! That was so cute!!!

Can't wait to get back to HHN and put these ideas in to action.
I’ll be there in February and I’m so excited but also I was so excited for the Mummy 😭
How cute was that apparating!!!! 😍🌪️
Yeah, pity that the guy was so critical of the girls technique when jumping on his back. No need for the criticism
My dad and uncle just booked our tickets for august! We are doing the Wizarding World Package and staying onsite with our younger cousins who live in the states (we live in the UK so haven't seen them in ages thanks to you know what). The same trip got cancelled for us in 2020 so I am crossing my fingers I finally get to go before I become an adult ahaha!
Nice tips! VIP does include breakfast & lunch. :)
Stinks about mummy being closed! I’m visiting in may and was really looking forward too that ride! But still looking forward too the trip!
HEY WE SAW YA THERE YESTERDAY! HI!
I'm coming down in September to check the park out
Great, good for you. I am going in May 2026. I have already booked, way in advance. Hi from Georgia.
You guys are so good... love all the info... in prep for our family trip... end of June... it was planned between Christmas and new year but trip from Canada were not allowed back then... anyway.. looking forward to our next trip I a few weeks... we have been in WDW 3x time already but the kids getting older (11b and 14g), we feel like Universal will be a better fit now... :)
Secretly hoping to spot you guys during our 14 days trip... ;)
we loved your tips and tricks, the best tip is the last one. !Subscribe! 🥰
Rick and Nikki please make a tip and tricks video for islands of adventure and volcano bay
This is great, thank you! I just booked a trip to Universal and was hoping to hear about the dos and don’ts! As far as reservations for restaurants, how far in advance would you recommend doing that? Thanks!
New subby. GREAT VIDEO TOUR & TIPS...
Nice to have you
Hi Nikki and Rick! I’ve always wondered where I can get information about annual pass holder events, do you guys know where I could hear about those?? Thank you I love your content!
Yes, please! That would be great !
Do you know if a medical bookbag is okay for the type of rides that make you use a locker? Loved the video!!
The next January 10th I will be there, if the frontier doesn’t close to the European countries.
Thank you for those tips.
My boyfriend watches you guys all the time! New Subscriber here!!
Our first year visiting Universal, we walked passed the Harry Potter entrance. We went back the next year after I found out we missed it.
Going for a wedding in April!
Lv these 2 great I was going get express tickets as been before and not got on many stuff ,didn't know some rides did not have fast pass line,is this same for island of adventure to
hello! thanks for all the info, I want to ask if an old (2014) magic band stills woks at the park?... Thanks!
Video idea for you guys...a bathroom walkthrough! I'll be looking for it in the future! Finding all the bathrooms would be helpful. It's always a mad dash when someone in your group has to go and no one knows where the closest, least busy or cleanest!
Hey guys great video but how crazy does Universal get during Mon - Fri non holiday going January 31st
Does it have to be a 3 prong fanny pack specifically? Can it just be the regular clip? Great videos btw! From the UK and will be visiting in April🎉🥳
I'm a pass holder and we usually stay on site. I remember when early admission was only hotel guests and honestly that was much better. With universal adding hotels and adding pass holders to early admission it has taken away some of the perk in my opinion. Now to many people have the perk and there are not enough rides open. And to
Be honest more times than not. 1 or more rides do not open on time at early entry
I agree. It’s such a huge line to get in early it’s barely a perk now.
We aren’t morning people & so we don’t do early admission. I didn’t know it was that busy during early admission. So we haven’t been missing anything special. Thank you for sharing we definitely won’t bother with early admission.
Does anyone subscribe to Touring Plans?
i’ll be at the parks the second week of june, will the mummy be closed during that time then? :(( was soo looking forward to that !!
How bad is spring break? Me and my kids will be in Orlando during that break.
How busy should we expect it to be in august? We’re going the 17-22 this year
Rix)flux - and Nikki. Another great vedio from you two. My wife and I are coming from Pennsylvania to universal for too day’s then one day at Epcot. In June around my birthday. My one daughter and I just love’s the halk. We went last year and bought universal ‘s annual pass our other daughter couldn’t make it. This be her first time in universal.our other one her second time. She just love’s Harry Potter and the halk. We just love watching you you’re vedio’s. I’m the only one that love’s butter bear. Lol
To add on for the annual pass tip: it is sometimes cheaper (depending on when you go!) to get an annual pass than paying for a 5 day ticket.
Bought 3 days, got 2 free. It ended up being $68.65 a person for 5 days & 3 are park to park! That's less than our small theme park tickets here in Buffalo, NY!commenter,
Correction- all are park 2 park
)The 3 park, park 2 park offers $200 off 4 anyone interested).
@@Rose-zf1jw Can you help me for March 14 -17
@@kw7155 just saw this, so sorry. Did you get everything sorted? I CAN tell you to NOT stay at Cabana Bay Universal. We stayed at Cabana(it's supposed to be on the same level as Adventura which we stayed at previously & loved)...It was FILTHY, ended up taking antibacterial Wipes from the drink station to wipe the crust from the door handles & light switches, the BROWN smear off of the toilet paper holder & most of the hair from the floors. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do about the inch of dust between the wall & bed, the years of crud around the table legs, or the cockroach that was waiting for me when I stepped out of the shower!
If you're staying at a universal or partner hotel you can, & should go early to ride Hargrids motorbike, the hippograph & escape from gringots, but if early hrs start at 8, you need to be in line at 745 at the latest! Within 10 min of us reaching Hagrids the line was up to 2hrs(thankfully we were up front & able to sail through). We then hopped on the train to the other park & food escape from gringots. After that every min Harry Potter ride was under 20min for the next 2hrs so we went on all of those while people rushed to Harry & waited in line! Oh, get park 2 park & download the app so u can see the wait times etc...
@@kw7155 If you have any specific questions let me know. Even after 3 trips I'm still learning tips & tricks! Like download Uber eats for food(way cheaper),alcohol, things you may have forgotten, so instead of paying $8 a beer at the hotel, have a 12pack delivered for $12! They even will go to the grocery store or pharmacy for sunblock, makeup, etc... I'd never used it before, but the last 3 days of our trip it saved us $100's!
My husband and I are going to Universal on April 2. I’ve been plenty of times since I was a kid until now but he’s never been. If the lines are long, do you recommend we do single rider line to get through it quicker?
How's the weather in Orlando at the end of January?
I didn't hear when the off season was!!! Spring??
I am coming in March but we are only able to afford one side and have picked the island of adventure side. Do they have the Mardi Gras stuff on that side also?
Is the refillable cup available at Islands of Adventure too?
Yes
Does universal allow vaping in the smoke areas only in 2022?
hi. i am inrested in visitng unversal studios. wondering if it is enough to visit universal studios & island of adventure in one day. using fast pass. and which ride must i try?
How is the weather and crowds during Christmas?
Interesting- I took a bum bag on most rides in October but it doesn’t have a 3 prong. No one checked
What I am interested in at Universal Orlando Resort is The Characters. With that being said, have you seen Phantom of The Opera anywhere around Universal Studios Florida?
ugh i wish they had phantom stuff at universal :c
Sadly the refillable popcorn doesn't fit in lockers unless you take the lid off, hard not to spill your popcorn
Will you be going in October or September 2022 for the Halloween event?
Hello from our Minnesota adventure youtube channels!
Also, given that the Mummy ride is closed and that’s universals best ride to be honest, do you think for my husbands first time we should go to island of adventures?
Darn Simpsons Ride!
I think you'll find he called it the "Simpsims" ride
Hi there, my family went to WDW this past December as a 40th bday gift. Already I am thinking of one day going to Universal in Orlando, but it's going to be awhile since I want to wait for Nintendo Land to be built there. Now unlike WDW, I pretty much know very little about Universal, so being the EARLY planner that I am, I've decided to start looking at YT videos and I really liked this video, so I am going to sub. I do have a question though, do they have perks for those with Disabilities like they do with Disney World? Already just by looking at this video, I can tell that things will be cheeper at Universal. For me a huge draw is the Harry Potter stuff and my brother and his family have already been there and do prefer Universal to Disney. I have been to Universal in Hollywood, but that was WAY back in 1991 (we went to Disney Land during that trip). I was surprised on how much I enjoyed Universal. My fav ride was like a "Behind the Scenes tour" of the park with a guide on a ride that went through famous movie scenes from King Kong to Jaws, and other things. Saw a lot of shows mostly and met chars like Woody the Woodpecker and Fievel from An American Tail. I do remember no wanting to leave lol. My fav show was an Animal one with trained animals, including famous ones like Benji and Lassie. The host was very funny.
Question - are they still doing the hogwarts projection show at hogsmeade regularly??
I have a refillable mug from Cabana Bay, can I recharge it for the parks?
Not a parks mug, so no
It would have been helpful if you mentioned the rides with metal detectors.
Rip ride rocket, hulk, velocicoaster.
The three big coasters
So if you get the express pass you can’t ride hagfish and velocicoster or you just can’t skip the lines
Those two do not have express
I know you mentioned buying lockers, but are there other options? Like cubbies right before you get on a ride that you can set your bookbag?
No cubbies. They make you use the lockers. Most of them are free though. You only have to pay if you need the larger size locker or you want to rent a full day locker. Bring a Fanny pack instead of a backpack
Ride lockers aren't big. I used a cinch or drawstring bag. Takes up less room and worked fine. Wand fit in there too.
@@ktpaladino thank you!
@@judiplaz cinch bag is a great idea. Thank you!!
I just texted Amex and they said it was still there? Is it closed? We have a trip planned for July and I was looking for discounts and if the lounge was still there. I thought I heard it was closed.
Another tip, unless you are joining in with Orlando Informer's Meetups, avoid going during those weekends as they close the parks an hour early for them.
Hi rix and Nikki
Now I am confused, are you and Universal Studios? Or at island of adventure? As the title of the video does not match what has been said at the end
Happy New Year to you all
I'm a new passholder... where is the Passholder lounge?
Hollywood Blvd, red awning
My daughter is challenged. Does universal have a system in place for special needs people with wheelchairs? Thank you. We were going to go to Disney but it's just became such a hassle to have a carefree vacation. ✌️🎉
Yes, speak with guest services
I’m meant to visit mid Aug-late Aug. Don’t know how I feel about that at the moment. Deep down I hope it gets cancelled, but on the other hand I want to go. Here in the UK the C word is bad again. Really cant see the light at the end of the tunnel 😫 Thanks for the tips Rick and Nikki x
Valet is not honored when there are events, like Halloween Horror Nights. It will cost $45.00.
Thank you for the bathroom tip.....lol
💖
For the refill cup, is the $18 for the unlimited drinks for the day?
Yes, but 10 minutes between refills
So each day you pay the $18 for the recharge? It’s my first time going so I just wanted to make sure. Thank you.
Yes, you pay the recharge fee each dsy.
