@@rayshelldaniels5899 i would say the frozen one does taste like good ice cream i agree. I would say the non frozen one is like the #1 top of the line cream soda
Mythos is fantastic, it would be awesome to see a She-ra attraction in that area! She already has a meet and great in that area. Universal has so many properties, they could definitely find some things that fit!
The Lost Continent needs it bad but leave toon lagoon alone. Universal, in my opinion, has done some very odd things when it comes to new rides and theming. I would like some better-themed restaurants like Disney.
Frozen Butterbeer is the best during the hot summer days in Florida. :) I cannot wait to to try the Green Eggs and Ham because I love tater tots. The caldron cake has way too much icing for me.
Fun tip: if you're caught in a cooler rainstorm while in the wizarding world Hogsmede. At the Hog's Head, they make a hot butterbeer drink too! It is so yummy!!! I don't know if they make it elsewhere, but def at the Hog's Head.
My son and I tried the Cauldron Cake when we were there, and we weren't very impressed. The cake itself was very dry, and the frosting was very heavy. Instead of that, I would recommend any of the unique candies from Honeydukes (ie, fizzing whizbees, exploding bonbons, etc) OR unique ice cream flavors from Florean Fortescue's (strawberry & peanut butter, clotted cream, sticky toffee pudding, etc).
My new favorite dish is the buffalo chicken tots at Green Eggs and Ham! Followed by Bumblebee Man tacos in Springfield! Also always have to stop by Diagon Alley and grab a Fishy Green Ale!
Love the butter beer. Never seen Wimpys open. Always wanted to eat there. Cauldron cake looks really good. Thanks for showing me so much more to try when I’m at Universal.
Does anyone remember the original cauldron cake? It had a yummy hard chocolate cauldrom and a moist cake with some kind of cream hidden inside. These new cakes are cute but theyre dry! I miss the older one for sure!
There are sooo many little food shops and trolleys throughout the parks, I can only imagine how challenging it was to narrow it down to six main choices/combinations and a couple honorable mentions. Good choices, though. Thanks for sharing the fun! 😄
4:25 That’s me and my party (Including the people nearly cut out of the frame). I would’ve went up and talked to you, but some of our party was guests from Illinois who haven’t been to Universal in years, so we were hurrying to get as much done as we could in a day.
We’re from Germany and were due to fly in early September but had to cancel our whole trip now, there won’t be any international travel in September to the US as it seems of right now... we are so sad that we won’t be able to attend HHN this year 😢 this year just sucks
I've always wanted to try green eggs and ham but everytime I ever went to universal, the restaurant was always closed. Planning to go this year and hope it will be open.
I'm a big Disney fan and will continue to be but you have may be respect Universal a lot more. I look forward to soon becoming both a Disney AP and Universal AP in the Fall.
Aw man , Rick, I wanna try the Dole Whip! I’m gonna have to go back to universal after the world opens back up and probably after a vaccine. I have the Duff beer and butter beer signature cups . I drink it with coffee sometimes. I had the best time! Thanks for the video, you guys are too cute.
I’m just saying butter beer is amazing and unique to universal but pretty much everyone who goes to universal knows about it or even planning to go there it’s normally number one most anticipated drink
Let me know if you guys want anymore fabric masks for the parks. I'll send ya a few :) I'll be up from Miami in Nov I cant wait to get back to the park!
WHAT WAS THE RUMOR? have you heard they may cancel HHN? Please let us know. I took off work a week to go. If you are hearing that I need to change my plans.
The chicken and waffle sandwich can be overly sweet, I wish the drizzle was separate. I do love the bone-in chicken that comes with a corn and mash potatoes 😎
I was wondering if the Jacket Potato stand is open now, my husband and I are coming to Universal the week of September 21st and I was looking forward to trying one this time around.
@@RixFlix That is AWESOME!! We can't wait to come. It is our 3 year Wedding Anniversary on the 22nd and we have tickets for HHN which will be our first time going. So excited!!
I was very disappointed with the Krusty burger. Someone said it was like in-and-out and it’s nothing like that. It is awful and avoid it. Someone mentioned the flaming moe and it was great. I was just disappointed at how little they give you.
One of the worse burgers I ever had…I’ve had a better burger from the hospital cafeteria by me …the NBC GRILL gave my son and me a pretty bad burger as well
Hi Rick and Nicki, I'm curious if some restaurants or counter service restaurants in Universal offer a plant based alternative to burgers like Impossible Burger or Beyond Meat? Thanks in advance! I love your channel...you guys are awesome!
When my husband got a Krusty Burger, he picked it up and all of the cheese and mayonnaise made the lettuce and tomato fall off 🤦🏻♀️ I was like “oh good, the healthy stuff is gone now…” 😆😆😆
0:25 That’s ME!!!! It rocked to meet you, Mr. Rix Flix
That’s be awesome
That was me and my daughter at the end of this video! Awesome! It was such a pleasure meeting you both while on our vacation.
It’s so impressive how much work it takes to post almost everyday! Amazing work Rick and Nikki! Super excited to go to Universal soon!
Agreed
The frozen butterbeer is one of my favorite treats in the park. Always a must get.
What does it taste like?
@@rayshelldaniels5899 i would say the frozen one does taste like good ice cream i agree.

Hot butterbeer should not be ignored since it's only served during winter months. I've tried both and hot one tastes a LOT better than a cold one.
i love all of them : )
A Rix Top Six involving food? You just made this foodie very happy! 😊
I know Toon Lagoon has some old theming but I love it! I actually really don't want them to re-theme it. But The Lost Continent NEEDS TO be re-themed!
if they do re theme it I will be really sad
Mythos is fantastic, it would be awesome to see a She-ra attraction in that area! She already has a meet and great in that area. Universal has so many properties, they could definitely find some things that fit!
We love mythos
There has been rumours that the lost continent may be re-themed to Zelda, but that rumour came around before epic universe was announced
The Lost Continent needs it bad but leave toon lagoon alone. Universal, in my opinion, has done some very odd things when it comes to new rides and theming. I would like some better-themed restaurants like Disney.
I'm not going till this time next year but I've been cramming in your vidoes in all my spare time on universal and I love you guys so much.
Nice snack is the green eggs and ham stand … Philly tots with chopped brisket and peppers onions and cheese
Gotta say...you guys have the best smiles on RUclips. Always happy, and always makes us smile, too!
As someone who always saves the icing/frosting for last whenever I eat cake, the cauldron cake was a challenge to work around
Frozen butter beer is my favorite too 😋
Butterbeer IceCream!!! A must when I go
Banana slushy maybe?? Carne asada tacos? Personally, big fan of the butterbeer potted creme and the pad thai in Mythos.
I can’t believe a big pink donut isn’t on the list! It’s such an iconic Universal treat! 😂 We get at least one every visit. 😋
That’s what I’m saying!!! It’s even better than the voodoo donuts on city walk!!
The big pink donut is one of the best items here. It definitely should be above the crusty burger.
@@melissawhitham7440 voodoo donuts are just hype. Ive had it multiple times and each time i didnt taste anything spectacular.

You should do a Top 6 for alcoholic drinks at the parks!
1. Ocean Attack
2. Ocean Attack
3. Ocean Attack
4. Ocean Attack
5. Ocean Attack
6. Anything at Boars head lol
A pint of stout and scotch egg salad in the Irish ☘️ pub is excellent, maybe a second pint also for dessert...
Indeed! 🍻 A nice Guinness always makes a fine dessert.
I have been in the park the last 3 days and have not seen so much of these things. I will look again today

Those exploding bon bons are so darn good yummy 😋
For any simpsons fans, they actually have a non-alcoholic flaming moe and it comes in a souvenir cup:)
Ok good cus I've had one before and I was confused there for a second since I'm underaged.
They are non alcoholic
What does it taste like? Is it good?
It’s fun for pictures but it’s just Orange Fanta with dried ice. Not exactly worth it for $9 unless you want to say you tried it.
@@anthonystauffer9278 tastes like tang, or so my mom said.
The lemon 🍋 slush is really good
If they would make the Dole whip into a float it would be SO amazing. Like a larger version than Disney would make my life!!

Blew my mind that they have dole whip at universal. I waited a whole week to go to Disney to get it lol. Glad I know now, for next time.
Thanks for the awesome video the coldrin cake looks yummy.
Oh I did not know Dole Whip was available there! I’m excited.
Good top 6, got some things to try on my next visit.

The Duff beer concept is wonderful....but it's like drinking the water the 3 eyed fish swims in...:)
What is the jacket potato considered? a quick service? a snack?

Beyond burgers can be found at Ricker burgers and Mel’s Drive-in off the top of my head.
Squishie aren’t unique there just slurpies that are over priced
Not true
But Pina colada is SUPER rare.. at 711, I'm glad I can get it at US
It's because it's a theme park
I had the Krusty burger last time I was there :)
Is it worth it to get quick passes right now or are they a waste of money?
Krusty Burger 🍔 ❤️❤️
How do the cast members/staff at these theme parks not pass out from the heat in their costumes?
They aren’t in them for very long, and they’re well ventilated
