Hi Dan, I keep my knock on edging in a self made ply box with door, I've fitted a 40 watt bulb in the box that keeps the edging warm. Great informative video as normal.
Thx. Great new years lockdown to you, too 😄. Well at least that's what we're into now.
Happy campervan building to you!
Thanks Jeff, all the best 👍
As always Dan it's a pleasure to watch a master of his craft at work
Happy Christmas and stay safe.
Merry Christmas Derek and many thanks for watching 👍
All the very best to you and your family Danny.

Thank you Robert and all the best to you as well.
Hi Dan. Another great video, which always delivers wonderful little tips. This one for me is, the hot air gun on the t trim. Small tips can make a huge difference to us amateurs. Merry Xmas to you and yours.
Moss.
Merry Christmas Moss and many thanks for watching 👍
Hi Dan from Switzerland I am very impressed with your level with the jigsaw .. many in the woodworking world do not like this tool :)! I have a question please: do you use the cut of wood to make the door then where do you use a new panel? Best thanks for your impressive videos!💪🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
No I have doors made afterwards. The off cuts come in handy for other things usually 👍 many thanks for watching
@@dantheman321 Thanks Dan
Fantastic videos as always, but I don't understand why all campers use quite thick panels ,why don't they use 6mm or 8mm width, plenty of strength and much less weight.
Just wondered thanks.
Don't think anyone manufacturers furniture board in that thickness. Certain places will do 9mm but it's not strong enough to make the furniture with and bends quite alot too. Many thanks for watching.
Hello Dan, thanks again for your videos which are always a pleasdure to watch. Can I ask what thicknnes plywood are you using on the side panels and on the roof? Many thanks, Mark
Hi Mark, 6mm on the walls and 12mm on the roof 👍👍 hope you have a had a great Christmas and all the best for the new year
Hi, Loving these videos. Can i ask how are you fixing the overhead cupboard to the 6mm ply paneling? are these screwed through the paneling to the steel support behind etc?
I placed extra 12mm ply behind the 6mm to add extra strength for screwing too. Many thanks for watching, don't forget to Subscribe 👍👍
@@dantheman321 ah, thanks for getting back to me. That would make sense. I love how you are lining this van compared to many that batten the sides before cladding. For me, that would waste valuable width. Just off to subscribe 😃👍
What can you recommend for furniture board please? Thanks in advance
Morlands have a good selection but prices have gone up. Many thanks for watching

Hi. Which type of blades are you using in the Jigsaw to cut the doors out ?
Fine metal blade 👍
