I commercial fish in Alaska for red salmon for two years and these prices in Japan are grossly over exaggerated… We used to get $.25 a pound for premium cook inlet caught red salmon in the 90’s.

Last time I was on a train to London they had to shut a whole carriage due to a problem with the toilet 🤢 there was one other toilet at the other end of the train, but there was one carriage the other side of the closed one who had no access to a toilet unless they braved a dash along the platform while at a station. Good old British trains…..

Sushi Zenmai in Osaka's Doutonburi area is not a place you want to go. Sushi there was expensive and very meh. The staff was very nice and attentive, but I was shocked how not great the sushi was.
