Very helpful video Thank you. Recently a recruiter gave me a phone interview appointment but during the interview day she said "we have already given the offer to someone but has not accepted the offer yet do you want still continue with the interview?". Is that normal? And another recruiter advised during the interview the job was in house not virtual even though the post said Remote strange lol
I'm sorry that happened - but no, the company should be clear with you on whether the role is available or not before your interview, if they have offered to someone else they should confirm whether or not the person has accepted before they offer you an interview - additionally, I'd recommend that at the point they offer you an interview it's worth double checking whether the role is remote as some roles are advertised as remote when they, unfortunately, aren't. best of luck in your next interview!
