- WELCOME to another episode! This week we share an awkward moment at one of Western Australia's station stay.
This week we share with you a few nights around Exmouth and two station stays. We struggled to get dog sitters around Exmouth but we still managed to have an amazing time. We catch up with friends and a few followers that have been following us for awhile.
We love station stays and we managed to get some accommodation at two stations. One of them we witnessed an awkward moment.

Drinking game : a shot for evertime he says "it is, what it is"
It would be a short game 😂😂😂
I’m drunk 😂
Another ripper episode guys. Seen these places before on other RUclips channels but your perspective on these beautiful places is so much fun to watch. Hope you didn't have to work too hard Sue, having missed out on that Sunday nights live music
Thanks so much Jason, that's what we hope to do is bring the reality of the places we travel! Yes it was a bummer missing the live music but work is work 😊 thanksnso much for the support and feedback!
😂😂😂 thanks Jason, really sad missing out on the live music and the fire! But such is life, we are lucky to be travelling but work is work 😂
@@suelandolt6840 you're welcome!
Just dropped a few beers in your PayPal account. Enjoy guys and thanks for the entertainment. Hello from Macksville. Michael, Tracey and Angus.
Thanks so much Michael, that is awesome and so appreciated! We are glad you enjoy the content and hope you, Tracey and Angus have a superb day!
Hey Sue I’m sure there was footage of you eating one of those delicious scones with cream on your nose 😂 😂. it’s good to let your hair down with a bottle champagne 🥂 rrrrrrough morning afterwards. Gr8 episode guys again❤
Thank guys. Couldn't find that clip 😒. hope you guys are well and are enjoying the trip😁
😂😂😂 yes there was!!! I think Deryck missed it, would have been a classic 😂 hope you guys are doing well and travel is going well! 👍
Thanks for all the travel info and particularly the dog friendly (or unfriendly) status of places. It really helps us forward plan our own visits. Might buy you a brew. Cheers, dd. 😊
Thanks so much for the feedback! Really happy the information is helpful. WA is challenging to travel with a dog if you want to do the National Parks please make sure you book dog sitters well in advance. If there are dog sitters they tend to be booked out 2 months in advance!
Great video keeping it real, enjoy !
Thanks so much ❤
Another great video
Good evening 😊 Awesome episode 👌🏽 not a good track for tyres 😢 Drinking time 🍺🍻 Thanks for sharing your adventures 😊Love Me Bob his growing up fast😊 I'm in East London for the weekend And greetings from a windy cold raining South Africa 🇿🇦
Thanks Yusuf! East London is our home town! Hope you enjoy your weekend there. Stay same and dry!
Love you guys 😂😂😂😂

Thanks Sonya, lovely to hear from you! Yes it is dusty and dry! Bob is like a rolling dirt ball permanently! 😊
Great episode yet again. Have a fabulous week!
Thank you. You too 👍🏻
Thanks Sean, appreciate your feedback and hope you have an awesome week ahead 😊
Another great vid.
Thanks Ian, appreciate your feedback, have a great Sunday!
Love watching your videos. Love that Sue is always smiling (except maybe on those badly corrugated roads). Loving the Wednesday videos too and of course Bobby 😊
Cracking Ep Guys
Thank you 😁
Thanks Craig, have an awesome week ahead!
Ripper ep guys. I will put that on our bucket list when we hit the road next year. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Tassie!!
Thanks Mark, Belarra was great, makensure you book it for the Griday night as that's when they do burgers damper on Saturday and live music and pizza Sunday = great weekend 😂 shower and dunny outside were a great experience! ,
Awesome episode guys. We love you so much and Bob is a sweety.
Thanx for your hard work guys
Cheers
Johnny&Rene
Thank you so much. Hope you have a great week 😁
Thanks Johnny and Rene! Bob is really turning into a sweet dog! Uts taking time but he is learning (not the sharpest tool on the shed our Bob! 😂) appreciate your support as always 🙏 have a greay week!
Another fun and relaxed episode, you guys are looking so well and happy in WA . I loved seeing you catch up with Brad and Hayley ( Cape memories ❤️🥰). See you next week 😊
Thank you. It was great catching up with them and some new friends we have met on the road😁
Thanks Robyn, we are really enjoying it! WA has been really fun! Thanks as always for your feedback. Brad and Hayley are such a lovely couple!
Great vid again guys, well done 😊
thank you
Thanks so much for the feedback! Have a lovely week ahead! 😊
The misso said Sue don't worry about what Deryck says enjoy those wines!
😂😂😂 yaaas, thank you! 😊 I do enjoy a cold glass of wine! 😂
I hope the roads improve for you. Great episode again. Enjoy your week.
Thank you. We can only hope the roads get better
Thanks Janice, the roads are all part of the adventure! I say this once I have finished them, not while I am on them 😂 have a great week!
No water in the yardie creek crossing atm, could have kept going up the coast (crossed it today, just a little Sandy), staying at Yardie station tonight
Thats awesome! The road less travelled. Hope you have a great evening! Thanksnfor the comment and support!
From the start, a man with a load always has right of way; uphill vehicles have right of way. Bugger the four wheelers wanting right of way!
07:35 I've towed those into and out of Ellenbrae Station and 80 Mile Beach - no biggie ;)
Ellenbrae has the scones, not El Questro.
You have to do the mud baths at Eulo for the perfect outdoor experience (cheap camping available). The pub is a gem and don't forget that the Police Station is directly over the road ;)
Thanks Stuart! Great tip on the mud baths, I will be doing those for sure 😊 Eulo here I come. Pu bopposite coppers 😂 will have to take Deryck out the back entrance 😂 really appreciate the advice and tips and hope you have a great week!
@@suelandolt6840 we drove in from Cunnamulla for a day trip, but there is a camp ground - one may stagger back to the camp ground.
Our family camping was on a cattle farm in the old shearing shed with the bucket shower over the sheep holding pen area and toilet outside - no walls, hole in the ground. So nice being out in the open watching the birds in the trees.
💯. It was so cool and we said when and where ever we end up we want an out door shower
Use! I was literally watching the birds and tree branches on the loo! 😂😂😂 it was weird but great all at the same time!
Yet another top video experience you two....Glad to see your still enjoying W(indy) A(lways).....and FYI for big D, the reason you deflate your tyres in that limestone track country is so the tyres fold themselves around the stones. I drove ,for many years thru this sort of country and can only remember 3 or 4 tyre destroys...maybe they were too hard !!! And also, before you get to the Gibb, you gotta get your accents around.....sco (o as in orange) nes....NOT sc Oh nes...lol. Cheers guys, travel safe...
😂😂😂 thanks Graham, yes we def need some Aussie lessons when it comes to pronunciations! We get so confused half the time! Great advice re the tyres, thanks! Really appreciate your support and ongoing feedback. Hope you jave an amazing week 😊
We enjoyed our recent stay at Bullara too. Enjoying your videos of W.A they are bringing back happy memories. Travel safe😊
That's such great feedback, thanks Annette! Do you travel full time?
@@suelandolt6840 no we are newly retired and now on our way home to Victoria after 5 months on the road. 🥶Your videos do inspire us to get out and see more of our big backyard.☀️
Ellenbrae Station on the Gibb is the place for magnificent scones !
Thanks you! Will def add it to our wish list! Thanks for the tip!
Someone finally lent you another W 😅😂
😂😂😂 yes indeed!
I was wondering when this video was coming out.. we were camped just about behind you and ran into Sue at Yardie Homestead and had a chat. It was windy indeed. All the best!
Hey guys great to hear from you! Yes was lovely chatting to you at Yardie Creek. Hope your travels are going well! Where about are you?
Good times at the Whalebone it’s a great spot!
Pity with no dog sitter you couldn’t get some snorkeling in along the reef as it’s really amazing but gives you a great reason to swing back around sometime in the future!
100% agree with all comments. Whalebone is phenomenal! We really enjoyed it, Greta atmosphere. Big pity about the dog sitter but we have become used to that on WA. Thanks so much for the feedback and hope youbare well!
Go to Mitchell falls that road in there is shocking too ..ruts the size of a coke can standing up ..but worth it once your in there 😊
Thanks Karen, sounds ds epic. Okay if the van isnt on the back 😂
Enjoy the drink.
😂😂😂 thank you
The missus and I love your channel and look forard to watching yous.
And i think its pronounced scon not as its spelt scone, but no doubt others will disagree.
😂😂😂 thanks Dennis, we don't know which one is correct, we get confused between South Africa, Australia and England pronunciations! Thanks so mich for the tip and support!
Ellenbrae is the station along the gibb that has the very good scones - not elquestro
I HIGHLY.. and I cannot stress this enough.. HIGHLY recommend going to ellenbrae for a scone and the coffee frappe
Have one for me aswell. I dream about them 😂
😂😂😂 yes I will def have one for you! Thanksnso much for letting me know, will have to stop by if it is what dreams are made of! 😂
Hello guys! Love your adventures…we are actually watching your latest episode from Rome..Italy!! But, we are planning a big trip from Wollongong to the Cape next year. Got a question about your sponsor’s product, iCheck TPMS. The tyres on our Ford Ranger have a factory monitoring system that works really well. No problem. But we want our dual axle van (21 foot) to have a TPMS. We have tried a couple of other products (monitors screw on valves, receiver sticks on windscreen of vehicle, solar powered etc) , and they do not seem capable of sending a proper signal from the tyres to the towing vehicle cabin? They are forever beeping and indicating lost signal. Worthless!! How well do your iCheck TPMS work for you from you van to your tow vehicle?
I wondering if you are thinking of going do the Gibb River Road , because a lot of van have a lot of problems with the road.
Take care Great Episode 🦘🦘🍷🍷
We are definitely considering doing the gibberish river road at this stage
Thanks for the heads up Paul, really appreciate it!
@@suelandolt6840 the both of you are such a wonderful couple, and we are so blessed to have you take us along with you.🍷🍷🌸🐬🦋🏕️
That overflow site for $50 per night next to pump house seems WAY TOO expensive.
It is super expensive but no accommodation available in Exmouth so they can charge what they like unfortunately!
Noice Vid....
Thank you
Thanks mate 👍
Any particular reason why you didn't travel directly north across Yardie Creek thru Cape Range to Yardie Creek Station? Just wondering.....
Holy moley Sue and Deryk, don't bother raising cattle on your next cattle station purchase.
Just clear a big area and sell camp sites!
100%! The cattle stations are amazing to see, particularly the working stations
Hey guys, Hope you’re doing well. Has Bob calmed down a little bit since he lost his manhood 😂
Mands, yes! He is no longer exhibiting unacceptable and inappropriate boy behaviour 😂 I can safely get into bed without him launching himself! Still super acti e and full of beans but even comes back to me when off lead (provided no other humans, animals or leaves blowing!l 😊 need more of your calming effect on him 😊😊 hope you are well!
I’m so glad to hear that 😂 hopefully we get to see you all again soon.
Shower scene soo funny Did Derek wear his speedos
😂😂😂 I can vouch for a NO onnthe speedo! Had to remember to warn him when he was editing 😂 amazing what RUclips gets you up to!
Are you guys still keen to swim with the whale sharks??
We would have loved to swim the whale sharks but didn’t fit into our budget and we couldn’t get Bob a dog sitter. Maybe next time
@@justvanningit well if you can find a dog sitter, I’ll chip in $1000 towards it, see how you go

@@markmitchell8413 wow Mark that is super generous of you and we are really humbled that you would do that for us but it would be difficult to accept such generosity! We are already in a Karinjini area and heading north but thank you again, it is so generous!
@@justvanningit shame, next time you get the chance to swim with whale sharks, contact me prior, the offer will be waiting for you, safe travels
