That first box is exactly how things usually are packaged. All the wrapping and protection stuffed into the bottom of the box, with the item then pressed right up against the top of the box with absolutely nothing to stop it getting damaged. Byron truly is a master of his craft.
Just my experience with Amazon, when I usually think they might as well tape it to a rock and throw it through my window.
It really triggered me initially that he didnt put it face down with the airpack on top
I frequently get things from Amazon in a box that's WAY too big, with a couple of those air-filled balloon things in it protecting nothing at all. 😆
Luckily in India, Amazon packs stuff nicely with minimum plastics bubble wraps.

Reminds me of how I wrap my nephews gifts! Game for PS2 in a gift box, wrapped, in a shoe box, wrapped, in a slightly bigger box, wrapped. Covered in shredded paper in a bigger box, wrapped! 😁 So much fun! He so did not expect the next gift to be a PS4 that year. I wrapped all the gifts he got that year... I had so much fun! Of course, he also had PS4 games, but they were hidden. Lol
I did the same thing as a kid to my mother whose birthday is on April fool's Day. Earrings all the way up to a refrigerator sized box. With a note in the earring box to look in the bottom corner of the very first box.
then you realize that freight carriers not only charge by weight but also by the volume of the package, which explains why sometimes you buy a small $10 item that comes in a massive box that costs you $30 shipping...

Yeah um, I am pretty sure the video was not meant to be taken seriously.... just saying.

The safest packaged Usb stick
I can't believe Byron would package a USB stick this way. The National Delivery Managers Union (NDMU) has rules to protect the saftey of their members and the integrity of the packages they deliver.
This USB stick is way too underpackaged. There is not nearly enough package stuffing to protect the product! Not only that, but did you see how much he exerted himself packaging that? He needs to slow down or he might hurt himself. And to top it off he picks up that package by himself. That is clearly a two person lift.
I'm afraid we'll have to revoke Byron's membership in the NDMU. We have rules for a reason, and Byron is clearly not a team player.

@@jurgmanx4644 Right? I'm a delivery driver, and some of the boxes I get I swear are exactly this. I've gotten the whole gamut from "one single piece of tape for a 50lb box, that obvious ripped open" to "this box is the size of a trash can, but it has a listed weight of 1lb or under, WTF".
It's how you gotta package for UPS... there's a reason why their name can be pronounced as "oops."
Oops, tossed it over the fence into your pool! Oops, tossed it out of my truck onto your doorstep(or close to it)! Oops, some guy set a 50lb box of lead bricks on top of the unboxed box marked "Alienware," with 5 "FRAGILE" labels on it, and then they set this half broken Alienware box on your doorstep without even ringing the doorbell, pretty much just begging for it to get porch pirated...
Then again, FedEx and Amazon do the same stuff. Doesn't matter if the box is getting delivered across the street, you have to package it like it will be going through a warzone.
Protip for what to use to package things for shipping: plastic shopping bags. Just fill that box to the brim with them, bury whatever you are shipping in them. At least in the US, you end up with hundreds of them sitting around, and you just throw them out, since it's pretty much impossible to recycle thin plastic like that, at least in the US, so might as well shovel all those bags off to someone else, and who knows, maybe they will reuse them! And yes, you heard me, they almost never get recycled unless you take it to a store expressly advertising that they recycle bags. Even then, they might just throw them out afterwards.
It's hilarious how companies somehow convinced everyone that pollution is the consumer's fault, because they just aren't recycling things. Well, in most areas, the recycling infrastructure is abysmal, some places can't even recycle plastic of any kind, most places can't recycle most plastics, and even a lot of paper or glass products aren't reusable. 75% of the stuff you put in your recycling bin probably ends up in the trash because the recycling plant can't recycle it. Oh, and that recycle sign, this thing: "♻️", can be put on anything, no matter if it's actually recyclable or not. It's not a legal symbol, it's a marketing symbol. If it has a number with it, that's different, but a recycling symbol alone means nothing in the US. And if it has a recycling symbol with a number, chances are your local recycling service (if you even have one) isn't able to recycle it. But yes, pollution is because you didn't put your non-recyclable plastic in the recycling bin, shame on you!

Seriously we need Byron to star on the next Death Stranding game by Kojima hahaha.
He really loves his job as a delivery man
This is why the military barely has any money for NEEDS. They have almost EVERYTHING overpackaged. I was working on a M1009 and it needed a new flasher. I got one from the parts manager. The box was big enough to fit a small child inside. I opened the box and there was another box. I opened that one, and there was a silver envelope inside. I opened that, and found small white box. I then opened that, only to find a see though plastic package with a flasher inside another silver, crimped envelope. After I opened that, I finally had my flasher in hand. This is NO joke, and this kind of crap happened ALL the time. 😮😂 That is why a $4 part would cost the government $37.50.🤦
byron is just my favorite, i click every episode with him in 0,1 seconds. i wish he was part of the main team and would appear WAY more often.
i just love the vldl side characters, they are all so great. the "best friend" of adam, ben, byron and the others.
Wait, who's Byron, I just saw a bunch of boxes packing themselves into each other, was really confused who the cast was talking to :P
@@homerman76 I think he ment Brian.. I mean Barry... OK nevermind
Now I really want to know what was in those other, significantly smaller packages.
a single micro SD card
Hdmi cord
I really don't know why I like watching Byron do these stuff (like he did in the Big Delivery sketch).
Love Byrons sharp touches, like how he puts on his cap back.
Agreed. When I saw his cap come off with the bubblewrap I thought it was unintentional, but the way he snapped it back on and did the brim slide was so natural.
Damn, he should work at Amazon with those packaging skills.
Byron made it to the UK he's in one of our adverts.
For some kind of delivery service one would hope?
@@umwhatamIdoinghere search up 'xero ads' on youtube , He's in those ones
We just spent 4 minutes of our lives watching a grown man pack a USB into various sized boxes
Best 4 minutes of my life...
Worth ever second!
And I regret nothing.
And Rowan kept his clothes on...
I spend 1,5 hours of my life seeing someone opening their birthday present which we had 50 boxes fild with only packing materials and and he had to search every box to find out his present whas a check to a couple of weeks on holidays. We gave him afterwards
Byron's passive aggressiveness is just off the scale
also 2:22, we've all been there
This is why two usb sticks cost $50 when one only cost $20.
I absolutely LOVE Byron. Legitimately my absolute favorite whenever I see a video with him in it.
If not now, Byron will soon do really crazy things...
Like, dumping all of the packages for example! Oh wait-
And now we know why mailman go crazy
They don't go crazy, they go postal.
"This little usb is gonna cost a lot of boxes."
He's spent more on packaging materials than the cost of the USB stick.😂
This was surprisingly relaxing 😌, asmr and tension mix really well i guess
Never closed a VLDL video so fast to watch another VLDL video
What happened to the release of Baelin's Route ? Is it still coming out ???
