The best way I combat burn out is by always doing something else while I'm playing. Usually playing another game on my main monitor or watching a series :)
Same! It also helps me to vary my activities. Instead of one profession for 3 hours straight, I’ll do 3 professions for 1 hour each, and maybe break it up with hourly bounty board tasks.
Been playing since launch and honestly was considering quitting recently. Watching your video was refreshing and gives me motivation to keep at it while we wait for new content. Thanks!
Cool guide! I just finished reaching my goal in Chef myself and this came at a great time. I plan to train for my last quests Forgotten Things and Battle of Fortunehold next, glad to hear they might be some of the best. Then yeah, I'll just try having fun in the game wherher that be doing a variety of professions or grinding something out (still undecided). I see myself foraging with you at 3:27 (Battleslash)! So i guess I have to say that I haven't tried many pancake flavors (I'm shocked at how many as there are from a quick Google search), but I guess I'll go with the fairly common blueberry pancakes for now.
Glad you enjoyed! You're in for a really cool set of quests if you're planning on those! :) Forgotten Things especially! Awesome to see how many people are recognizing themselves in my videos :p Good pick on the pancakes too
Now that lb's work properly I will never be bored again. I think I'm in the minority on that one though... doing all the quests is a great goal too, that's on my list for sure.
Between finishing the quests and base 100s there is also the stepping stone of unlocking the base form of every tool. I grinded to get the sickle, oyster net and panning tray beyond what any quest needs.
Your videos are great. Surprisingly for me the whole game seems like One Small Favor. It also reminds me of the day that agility came out in that other game. On that day I got a mental picture of Paul and Andrew rolling on the floor laughing in their offices. Watching everyone run around in circles like dogs chasing their tails. One change that they made to the game that I really couldn't understand why they did was removing fatigue and sleeping bags. I really hope that Andrew finds a way to add those things to Brighter Shores. Keep those videos coming.
Glad you enjoy my content! :) Brighter Shores sure bears some resemblance to RuneScape Classic, honestly that's probably why I enjoy it so much. RSC had something that the later iterations of the game just don't quite have.
I'm currently grinding away at bonewright. Coming from Runescape 3, i have some skills at 200m xp and I'm only in like the top 20k in the hiscores. I love that I'm not even level 100 yet and I'm in the top 1000 players. Plus i love that the weapons look cooler the further you progress. I think at the time of writing this there's only one other player at 500 bonewright. I have a long road ahead but i hope i can at least get to top 100. I'm also planning to get the rest of my skills up so i can do all the currently available quests. Really looking forward to finishing The Lost and Found. I will probably jump into the discord at some point. Hope to see you around! :)
New sub here. Great content so far, and great podcast appearance last week. Quick question. Considering how well put together the fisher guide was, would you be interested in putting together a forger guide that isn’t completely sweaty?
Welcome to the channel! Glad you enjoy my content! I will definitely do a Forager guide, but not before I reach at least level 200, so I won't start working on it for a few more days at minimum. Is there anything in particular you would like to see in the guide? Thank you for your question :)
What kinds of routes are you using for forager so far? That profession seems to have a lot of potential to break open with multi-nodes like puffeeling was for fishing.
There are a few spots where it does work. I intend to make a forager guide when I reach at least level 200, but I might go for a higher level before making a guide. I was combining bellplants with potatoes for example :)
Oh lol I got a cameo at 5:50 . I love how often I see a name I recognise in BS videos.
Looks like i have more goals to set for myself! Thanks a lot!
You're so welcome!
Good tips! Nice ways to fill the time waiting for more in game content!
Glad you found it useful! These are definitely some things to do in between releases :)

Very good advice! I usually have something else going on as well :)

Your comment alone has made producing this video super worth it. I’m so glad it helped!
Thank you for your comment! ❤️

Definitely in the minority there! Glad to hear you have goals though!!
Make sure to take it one step at a time!
Very helpful and interesting video, I appreciate you making this!
My pleasure! So glad you found it helpful!!
Another great video, Valerie! I'm currently about to finish Forgotton Things, carpentry takes awhile!
So glad you enjoyed this one as well!
Forgotten Things is one of my favorites!! Enjoy :)

This is also nice goal to set I hadn’t thought of! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! :) I'm glad! More content on the way!

You definitely seem to have a good idea on what you want to achieve! So happy to read that!
See you around!!
Great video V :)
YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THAT YOU CAN ALSO COLLECT 23 CABBAGES AND PLAY LIKE A MAD LAD LOL
Honestly I probably should have mentioned that some people go for completely ludicrous playstyles to combat fatigue :o
