I've never been able to unsee Duplass as his character in Creep
I watched The League after watching Creep, so that's the character I see him as in my head now haha
@@nonstophorrorofficial Creep is a direct ripoff of my film 15: inside the mind of a serial killer - literally shot for shot in some places. My film came out about 8 years before.
LOTS of worthy films here for us horror fans. Imho, it's the low budget ones with no/low CGI, good writing, and realistic and believable settings/situations that tend to be the creepiest. Amongst the newer entries, I'd start with Creep, X, and Ouija: Origin of Evil. Thanks for keeping your recommendations spoiler free!
I agree! That's why I love found footage horror. Low-budget but spooky nonetheless
Her slow walk through the moon-lit woods to get to the fire with unholy screams and chants before she acends up while she manically cries and laughs before fading to black? Idk man, that's one lf the best payoffs to a horror movie ever.
Yeah, idk friend. In the moment it just felt very meh for me. However, many recent discussions have me itching for a rewatch to see if my opinion has changed! Thank you for watching
@@nonstophorrorofficial it's slow-burn, cerebral horror, and one of the all-time best modern horror movies. You should def give it a re- watch.
me saving this to my watch later so I can scare myself while high this weekend
Sounds like the perfect plan
The VVitch is very good what ya mean
The Witch is an A24 movie - lots of people aren't fans of movies that are so layered. That movie is terrifying because of how real it is- how those things truly happened- being accused of being a witch for the silliest of reasons.
I have found that women more often found the Witch to be scary over men: because it's a story that many women in a f-ed up way can relate to.
Cracking list man. The RItual has the number #1 creature design of any movie for me outside the Xenomorph. The Autopsy of Jane Doe is the first movie I recommend when people ask for a 'scary' film. The single location and the use of the bell was top tier. Also The Wailing is one of my top of all time, highly recommend I Saw the Devil if you haven't seen it. I love Korean horror.
I was SHOOK when the creature was revealed
@@nonstophorrorofficial 🤣agreed!
@@SpookieKnights I Saw the Devil --- oh boy, that one was one of the best movies I NEVER want to see again. It was so beautifully filmed, well acted, etc. But it was brutal, bleak, and that gut-punch of an ending. It left me reeling!
@@suzybearheart530 I agree for a movie about hyper violence it is so beautifully shot. Yes the first time I saw it the ending sent me for a loop! It's one of my favourites 😀
The first 3 you cover ... are so solid I watched the whole video. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for stopping by!
Going to watch Elm Street films again, thx 🤗
Great choice 👏
Are you new? I haven’t seen your site before. I DO like your content 👍🏽
I'm fairly new yes! I appreciate you watching; glad you like it
Hi,
Very good list. I'm not sure if 'A Dark Song' and 'The Canal' are on Netflix but I highly recommend watching both.
Neither is on Netflix unfortunately :/
Is nice, thanking you very much 👍👍
You're welcome!
passing by, giving support
Thanks for stopping by!
I've seen all of these. All worth it to watch at least once. I loved Creep
Thanks for checking out the video!
The Bear scene in Back Country STUCK with me
Ditto 😱
I love horror but tbh. Most movies promoted as horror in netflix just aren't good at all. There's some hidden gems tho but most of them are just bland
Yup! Out of the 180+ movies on there it was hard to find truly great ones
Hey new sub here just what I needed I need a good movie to watch ❤
Thanks for the sub! Welcome
I never seem to have the "right plan" anymore to watch the movie I want to watch!
Hopefully this vid helps 🩸🩸
I dont know if its available in USA but french movie Paranormal Investigation is aaaamzing!
higly recommend if you can manage to get a hold of it!
Ooh, thanks for the rec. I'll try to find it
Many Thanks, watched LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor recently, if it hits Netflix give it a go!! Genuinely Creepy!! Peace From London. 🙏🙏
Watched that one on Shudder. Love that whole franchise
I’ve never understood how slasher films -even the Freddie Krueger franchise, qualify as “horror” flicks..
..... what
Damn I've seen all of these already
I'll have to do a hidden gems video 🩸
Omggggg the Wailing is so creepy
Since when did Netflix make diffnplans?
I think they've had different tiered plans for quite a while now.
I own all of the nightmare Elm Street including Freddy versus Jason I bought my Freddy Krueger movies directly from Blockbuster that should tell you, my age lol
Ah, the good ol' Blockbuster days!
not very helpful, but then that's Netflix fault mostly. I will say you didn't exactly seem excited about covering these films. There were a few better on menu than those chosen, but I can understand you going with the more 'safe' titles.
That's the beauty of horror! Everybody's got their tastes/opinions. I'd love to hear your faves
I’m not a nerd 😢
All in good fun :)
@@nonstophorrorofficial I know, I’m joking bud lol great video
Followed here from Threads and this list is on POINT🔪
Hey! Thanks for checking it out
I'm glad someone else feels the way I feel about "The VVitch". Highly overrated.
