Hope this mall continues to thrive. Primark, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods currently remain at this mall. Maybe a Crate & Barrel at the former Sears but I'm probably dreaming at this point.
I used to love Red Mango and Ruby Tuesday before they closed. Hopefully an Applebee’s or any restaurant similar to Ruby Tuesday with a salad bar can go there.
This is the first time I've ever seen a Primark in an American mall...I thought they were a British brand as I hear people from the U.K. mention that store a lot. I hope they do get the mall to let them expand to downstairs too after Sears goes.

11:00 - Somebody Boscoved today. The fact that the Primark looks more grand than Sears I think is a definite slap to the face of Sears. But since Sears is down to two locations here in Michigan (plus one Kmart), ya gotta thank Big Eddie for his efforts.
Freehold didnt get the news that malls are dead, mall culture doing well, especially on the weekends parking lot is always pretty filled. it lost Nordstrom and Lord and Tayor, but still has an Apple,. Also has outside stores and restaurants that are a draw. Still considered a higher end mall,. Located in a high income area for sure.
I think when Sears shrinks in the mall, it's very tacky looking. Just symbolizes how Sears is doing and how they've lost their prominence. Great looking mall.
this mall is a copy of the danbury fair mall i remember going here in 2003 and i felt like i was in an alternate reality cause the inside was 100% the same only the stores were different even the renovations are identical
I can say I have been to this mall once. The same manager that was at Penn Can Mall in Cicero, NY back in the early 90's was also at this mall at one point.
Another great look at a Jersey mall. Wonder what they could get for the Sears space? Expand Primark? It's a better designed mall but dumb of them to remove the fountain.
they were planning a entertainment place was rejected since the town already has iPlay America less than a mile away shame dicks is already on the property that be perfect for the sears location
my old hometown mall.the developer wilmorite rebuilt freehold raceway after it caught on fire in 1984 and planned to build the mall on vacant land there. I was there on opening day 30 years ago just sears and lord and taylor were opening day anchors and expanded during the 90's with Penny's , Nordstrom and then Macy's. beforehand this wasn't even suppose to be macy's Stern's was first proposed then A&S which woulda have a 5th jersey store was planned until their demise and that's how macy's got the spot. this mall was great to go to in the 90's even though I don't live in freehold for some time I stop by when I visit my grandmother this mall isn't the same
I went to this mall today and it’s still pretty busy, despite it’s lost sears, lord and taylor, and Nordstrom, there are other stores that are closing or already closed. I’m very worried for this mall.
Thank You for this.
You're very welcome!
Hope this mall continues to thrive. Primark, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods currently remain at this mall. Maybe a Crate & Barrel at the former Sears but I'm probably dreaming at this point.
A Boscov’s, Bloomingdales, or a lower level to Primark would be cool.
Wow

pkmnan00bis I see you know all about the mall as well
I love pkmnan00bis' Spot the Difference comments. It's great to have this kind of detail being noticed!
Raw & Real Retail They announced that Nordstrom is closing there store here,
ForzaJersey Ok, thanks,
2:33 The Justice store became an FYE.

I totally agree with you. Willow Grove Park mall has a similar setup and it's not a great look.
This mall looks a lot like the Charlestowne mall
I've been to this Mall for my whole Life
Wow that's a long time to spend at the mall!

It really makes me want to go to Primark and it's great on the eyes. Also Nathan's has great hot dogs.
Primark unfortunately looks better from the outside lol. Totally agree with you about Nathan's! 😋
Drop the glizzy
I use to work at that Ruby Tuesdays snd that Godiva in the mall before they closed

I know right?! I used to throw coins every time I went into that mall
Hard to find a mall these days without any empty store fronts. Did that Sears used to be 2 level?
Dennis W yes, they downsized back in 2016 to make way for that Primark. However, The Sears will be permanently closed by February 17th 2020
I love the train ride
This music fuckin slapped
Most of these stores are closed now. And not a single mask in sight!! Precovid days for sure! Thanks for the blast to the past!

Freehold Raceway Mall might replace Sears, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom with the revived Toys “R” Us, Neiman Marcus and Boscov’s in the near future.
I would replace Toys R Us with Bloomingdales or Dave and Buster’s (Even though there’s iPlay America like a mile from the mall)
@@ChiChiWoo Toys "R" Us is coming back from the dead.
Toys “R” us I not there anymore 🥲

This is Shimmer and Shine in Lakewood, NJ from July 2, 2012.
Tramps like us, baby we were born to run

The Danbury Fair Mall's twin brother.
