This one was tough for me. I loved the break-in with the lines, and got through them pretty quickly. The Sudoku tripped me up. I got completely bogged down and ended up bifrucating at the end. I guessed well. Seeing BremSter's solve showed me where I'd missed several critical eliminations. Scanning...grrrr :D
I stalled near the beginning as I was holding off on coloring 'everything', so briefly watched the beginning of BremSter's solve and stopped the viewing (continued after my completion) when I saw him doing the non-high digits, and that allowed me to finish up really fast with a final time of 16:10 (conflict checker off). Really nice puzzle from jsmirob, many thanks to him, and to BremSter for presenting this puzzle!
10:00 I was stuck until you noted things such as, purple can go only in "these two" -- R16C7, yellow can only go in "these two" -- R7C16, etc. When I tried it with (your) red, R3C16, I found that R3C1 was occupied -- red had to be R3C6 and was on a line. That restarted me.
the same puzzle was also featured on Sudoku Sleuth about a month ago, search for "rotary engine". it's nice when the puzzle links are the same across channels... when they get re-set i sometimes re-solve it with this weird feeling of deja vu the whole time! (however usually there's a good reason for the re-set... it'd be cool if sven could give us a "family tree" of puzzles somehow, maybe related by their final solve grid...)
Thanks for the feature, and sorry for the unpronounceable name! It's a compressed form of my full name (the "smi" is part of "smith", etc.)

Sweet puzzle!
Very cool puzzle. I can only dream of having such well-placed givens, those were so powerful so often.
Fun fact: Without the 1 in the corner, the solution is still unique, but the puzzle is borderline unsolvable (by me).

That was awesome! I didn't think it would be easy at first, but those given digits combined with what couldn't be high were so powerful.
Somehow every step clicked with me on that one, really nice puzzle!
That was a sneaky 1 (happened to me too 😂). Super fun puzzle, great setting!
Box 4 has the line that adds to 8 because the 4 is in the wrong place for it to add to 7. Much simpler.
14:20, thank you!
This was easy, but still nice how all pieces find their place.
12:20 for me, I'd rate it 1-star difficulty, ie pretty straight forward.
Yummy puzzle.
Done in 7 minutes
Is this a remix? I already tried this one, when I opened the link it was mid-solve.
