Both lovely gentlemen I would of loved to have met them, I did however see them on stage as Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson they were wonderful I always remember Jeremy blow a kiss to us all in the audience, God Bless both of you.🙏
Thank you for the video. It's a great pleasure to see a new interview with a great actor. For me, Sherlock Holmes with the actor Boris Livanov was closer, but having seen Jeremy Brett and his Sherlock Holmes ten years ago. Now he is the best for me!!!
Fantastic series. Jeremy Brett is the first image that automatically comes to mind while talking about Sherlock Holmes. This 80s series was a big hit here in India... and I can very well imagine worldwide! Excellent cast and that Victorian age brought to life so impeccably by the filmmakers! Big salute to all who were involved in making this masterpiece.
I haven't seen this material before and so it comes as a undiscovered treasure. How we eat it up as if to somehow extend and give immortality to our two heroes. To have them back again. We shall have to settle on the artistic immortality of the performances and series itself. Thank you for this posting.
No screen representation of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson even comes close to the Granada tv series that faithfully adapted the original stories of AC Doyle. Yes, kudos to Jeremy Brett, but I would also like to give my applause to both of the marvelous actors who played Dr. Watson. They were the best ever.

This seems to me to be the filming of the Episode "Wisteria Lodge" at Arley Hall, Cheshire in 1987, broadcast in April 1988.
