Saw an article about a trans dude on a woman’s soccer team, he was like a foot taller than everyone else and probably could kick the ball through an opposing team member... seems fair to the other team.
Nowadays he doesn't even have be trans, just identity with being a female should be sufficient enough to join the WNBA. Can't wait for Steph(anie) Curry to sign with the LA Sparks as their new point guard.

When I was a cheerleader in middle school. A girl tried out for the football team. My brother who played on the team. Told me the night before her first practice. The coach told all the boys to show absolutely no mercy on her.She broke her collar bone her second practice. And thus ended her football career.
Probably did her a favor. Can't start a real dream until the fake one gets shattered.
Its the same crap in high-school wrestling. I ask a Coach "Would you want a 17 year old Me wrestling You 16 year old ME ? THE ANSWER is always No.
I'm not sure if the coach saying show her no mercy was the right thing to say, usually you don't practice at full force, mostly so that you can avoid injuries. If some of the other players took it to mean that they should go full force then it could be a big reason why she got injured. Instead it's better to just tell the team not to treat them any differently, and then point out that they need to be ready to actually be in a game. So try not to hurt them, same as you would for every other player, but if they shouldn't be in a game then they need to know and you shouldn't feel bad about it. I never had this situation happen in sports, but I used to be martial arts. In martial arts you should never go easy on women, obviously you shouldn't try to hurt them, but they need to know what it's like to fight someone that is bigger and stronger than they are (assuming they are average and aren't one of the few women that is bigger and stronger than the average guy).

I played the big 3 in hs and even in the corps and there were many times that my nerves got the best of me. I give her mad respect for stepping up and doing it. She was asked! She didn't go to them,they came to her. I'm 6 ft 1in 230 and I don't want no part of them dudes running at me!

Ms. Hnida had done over thousands of successful kicks. As a sportsman who practiced hard with a team, the unsuccessful kick was crushing to her and the team. Yet other players fumble, too.
Maybe if she made the kick, and other successes, we could have been fans of hers instead of her haters.

My dad also played rugby until age 66 and my son played on a Provincial 7s team and was captain of his HS 15s team.

Exactly. It's the same thing when they are promoted to positions they obviously did not earn within Law Enforcement agencies, Fire Departments, etc. In order for them to receive something they did not deserve, some man who DID put in the effort and commitment to deserve that promotion got screwed out of it. And if anyone points this out, they will be made an example of and fired. It's one thing to demand equality so that they can have a chance to prove themselves, but it is something else entirely when they demand what they have not earned; and then celebrate and applaud themselves for being given something that was earned by someone else. That's not only embarrassing, it's disgraceful, unfair and a clear example of them directly benefiting from what the sexism and privilege they claim to be against.

This actually happened when I was in high school a long time ago. We had a woman who was the kicker and all she did was kick the ball and run off the field. She really wasn't that good. She was constantly having news media interview her as being an inspiration to all females. Eventually after one of her kicks, she tried running off the field and one person on the enemy team tackled her and it was over, she immediately quit.

Now if she were to start the first game and get through an entire season as their starting kicker, then absolutely, this should be celebrated and would be something young women could try to achieve. I see this a lot in women's sports tbh. Like they're just not as competitive. I don't mean professionally btw I mean like netball teams we had in high school. Like the girls weren't that disappointed when they lost a match but with guys you could see how much it bothered us. The girls would cheer the team on whatever was happening, it was more of a participation sort of thing and feeling apart of a community rather than winning netball games. I imagine professional women's sports have that competitive edge but most women see sport as a cooperative activity over playful warfare. I mean I had a best friend all we did growing up was compete with each other at absolutely everything. The annoyance of having a girl bring that cheering cooperation to a team that just wants to fight for the win must have been enough to pull hair out.

From a person that’s played on multiple team..you’re not a successful team without being able to create energy from the sidelines. Maybe had they taken her advice they’d score just atleast once. As a former HS soccer coach with football kickers on our roster who have gone on to kick in college, I’m here to tell you these guys could easily kick it into the end zone and college Power 5 kickers can put any kickoff in the end zone easily!

When my daughter was in high school, she was on the track team. I helped run the meets as a volunteer. Also, went to many of the bigger meets and invitationals in my area. Our girls teams were always very good, boys were intermittently good. I learned a lot. We had many girl champions. Even state champions. Record setters. But, the truth is that even these elite girls would have had a very difficult time winning a very typical Frost/Sophomore race against boys who had yet to develop pubic hair. In fact, no girl during my time would have won any Frosh/Sophomore league championship in the boys. If you took every woman Olympic Champion during that time and made a team to complete in our boys varsity championships, they would have been crushed. The best in the world crushed by high school kids. That is the difference. If this girl kicker got blocked or tried to make a tackle head on, she had a good chance of ending up in a wheelchair. The guys would treat her differently, without the vigor and violence of the real game, and that’s not right. They didn’t even bother to rush her PAT.

The fact that she kicked it isnt really a problem for me. It's the complete stupidity of our woke world. What really angers me is that she was allowed to give the halftime speech. I played high school football which is way less strict than college and still, the only person who could ever dream of giving a halftime speech is the MVP senior who has been playing all 4 years and starts both ways. I would be irate if that girl even opened her mouth during halftime to our losing team.
The kick is the problem. No fucking way was she the best option for a kicker. She's a token player and an absolute joke.

Tbf she’s a football player going to American football, the technique u use is so different and a lot harder. For example I could probably kick a football 3/4 of an American football field but I won’t get half that length with a rugby ball.

This is great example of the downfall of Western culture. We used to celebrate the greatest of men and women to walk this earth. Now you just have to exist as a woman to get validation. The play was a designed pooch kick. Notice how a majority of players lined up on the short side of the field, and players on the far side made an immediate route to the right side of the field. It’s similar to an onside kick. I don’t know how far you can kick a ball but her goal wasn’t to kick it as far as she could
