I like how Riddles occasionally decides to go for over the top reads and mix ups in his combos instead of the optimal TODs I've noticed a lot more Kazuyas are doing that now, where they're just bored of doing the same TOD combo and they just wanna see how far they can take it
The way riddles plays kazuya and Terry is insane the way kazuya and Terry play when 2 top tiers fight against each other make this look like a whole other fighting game. Awesome
very cheese character--if you're good at combos then the games are either you getting comboed or you comboing the other guy. And usually your combos go straight from low percent to death so yeah he's one of the top characters in the roster
really good if execution isn't an issue for you you need to really get the wavedash movement down in order to go from an alright Kazuya to a *terrifying* Kazuya
Speaking of riddles I got one What accuses him of being carried then act like babies just cuz he throws a controller The pussies in the smash community
@@amazing_ace4634 I agree, and I do enjoy watching Kazuya, however it really isn’t fair than he can take a stock that easy off one mistake. Not even Steve can do that. Not saying he should be banned, but Nintendo really should have done something like increasing the startup time of up and forward smash, or decreasing the stun time on EWGF. If both Steve and Kazuya had their damage reduced by say, 20% they would probably be fine. It’s the fact that their moves do way too much damage for characters that have longer (and far easier) combos that even Sheik, who honestly shows that you can have characters with those type of combos, but they shouldn’t lead to 0-120% combos. It’d be find if an optimized Kazuya combo did 60-75% and didn’t KO, but he is just way too overtuned.
@@ShinyMew76 he can take off a stock off a mistake, but the level of execution, consistency and timing required is not easy. Which is why he is one of the only the kaz main player doing it consistently in tournaments and getting results. Tea is a close second cuz he only brings out the kaz on certain matchups and FD.
@@michaeldevera6285 If a character is easy or difficult to use, that is not an indicator of how broken he/she is. Take for example Steeve and Sonic, both of them are easier to use than kazuya, like you said there are not that many kazuyas, just for the fact that there are other easier characters to use, and people doesn't want to invest that ammount of time. One indicator will be the amount of tournaments Riddles won before and after Kazuya, of 52 prior Kazuya, he won only 6 (with one of them in 129th place), but after Kazuya he win in a more consistency way. This shows the boost Kazuya gave to Riddles.

This is why Riddles is one of my favorite players to watch.

@@phazedkilledyou Like a real fighting game
after doing an electric, it's like "how should I kill him this time?"
and 50% of that combo is just you thinking to yourself "pleasedon'tmisinputpleasedon'tmisinputpleasedon'tmisinput"
actually
Kazuya reminds me a lot of melee marth, killing at 60% with a forward smash, really fast, hard to whiff punish and has movement similar to melee
@4:30 the rage and electric together had Steve in tumble for so long
His Kazuya is sick
Bro wtf am i watching? He is playing tekken while everyone is playing smash
8 minutes of kazuya outplaying people

As someone who's surname is Riddle, this made me question everything. Do I play Kazuya, and I just didn't know?

Kazuya is cheating.
Literally half the roster has some sort of bs there are very few all rounder characters in this game
