I’ll be 60 in October and would never do any procedures, injections etc. As a nurse I have seen the horrors😳😳😳I think people need to work on their inner negative issues and stop putting other women down, such a waste of time and energy! Turning 61 was like hitting a wall!!! I now have jowls and a turkey neck! Oh and droopy lids! My Mom, grandmother and aunts have them! Geez... And I think you are so beautiful and kind!🥰

I just started taking care of my neck last year. Of course, I waited until the turkey left town and the pelican took up residence. I found a serum by No. 7, made for the face and neck (look for a pink tube). This stuff works well with just a large jade roller! It's been about a year, and I keep an extra tube in the car to apply whenever I think of it. It's rather heavily fragranced, so I won't use it on my face, but it sinks right into my neck and doesn't seem to disturb or dilute my sunscreen as I have no new darkening of the skin there. So now I don't have to wear a scarf or bandanna to play the hiding game. I apply it at night, too, under a few dabs of plain old Vaseline well rubbed in. Loving this part of my nightly routine, my neck feels so nice in the morning - velvety smooth! Thanks Laura Rae!

I bought an Omnilux but haven’t been using it because I want to check with my eye doctor to see what eye protection I should wear when I use it. I will be going to see him soon for my yearly checkup.❤️
I really like gold bond crepe erase lotion. I also use gold bond retinol body lotion, but I'm not sensitive to retinol yet. I do have systemic lupus so I get some body skin rashes, but I have seen improvement with the crepe erase.

As mature women I think we need to give up the idea that we need brows like those 20 year olds today! In fact it might look a bit jarring…. I think it is important to fill in any sparse areas so they do look even and a bit fuller

To be honest, I could care less about my neck. When people mention necks, that's the only time I think about it. I did buy a body retinol and use it only occasionally. I get zits, too. Not as much as I use to though. I have horribly sparse eyebrows! I'm so envious of people who have pretty ones. I'll try the eyebrow stuff you recommended from Essence. It reminds me of the one from NYX called Thick it, stick it, which is Ok but nothing to write home about.

Yes to soft brows especially on mature faces. I giggle inwardly at the caterpillars some draw on. My neighbor ended up with C-Dif after a brow lift operation!
I like a more natural looking brow. It bugs me regard some of the younger influencers brows just look odd to me, however I do think people seem to have gotten away more from that trend.

I was using red light masks for my face, neck & chest, but just couldn’t stay consistent with it, even though I did notice I was seeing results. Then stopped, and we all know what happens, your skin reverts back. Anyway, I’ve decided to try a red light panel (MITO) instead, thinking it will be easier to stick to a routine, and more power in the LED’s. Going to use the Maysama Green Rooibos Pressed Serum also, in hopes of better results. I don’t think I seen you mention LED therapy, and wondering what your thoughts are ? Hello new to Korean skincare. I purchased Numbuzin #3 Numbuzin Glowing Essence toner Corx snail mucin Missha cleansing foam and Super Aqua peeling cream (using only 1x weekly) I am starting to get confused about how to use the products and if I purchased the correct products. Although I see a positive change in my skin, one thing I am surely confused with is the "essence" toner it seems to make my skin feel a bit dry. I also struggle with very dry eyelids. I avoid my eyelids at all times with all the products. I only gently wash with lukewarm water and pat dry then I apply a product called "boom glow" to both protect and hydrate. I would be grateful for any help I am on information/ recommendation overload.
Deborah…It may be the cleanser that is drying your skin out. Foam cleansers tend to be more drying. Perhaps use one you know leaves more moisture in your skin. The Numbuzin and the COSRX have worked great for me. I think you would be really happy with the Kiehl’s Eye Cream I showed in the video. It is so hydrating. I would use these steps: Wash your face, use the Numbuzin or the COSRX, apply an eye cream and moisturizer. Hope this is helpful!❤️
I join w/other viewers who are appalled by some of the comments made to you! You are the sweetest lady & quite lovely. Your neck looks fine & so do your brows. Everybody doesn't have thick brows & that kind of eye brow probably wouldn't flatter a lot of faces. There is nothing odd about your brows. Mine are very sparse (I can only imagine what that brow person would have to say about mine !! ) I am challenged because the skin under my brows has a redness but my brows are a cool tone...much like yours in color. I'm like you....I like to just lightly fill them in. Oh & by the way, you look so pretty w/that light blue head wrap ! Have you ever thought of wearing a head wrap ? There are so many colors , prints & solids. You look lovely w/a headwrap! I have quite a few...it's fun to wear one once in awhile .

The first video of yours that I watched was the one about the time you forgot your makeup while on vacation. You really look great! I used Prai years ago and I think it worked, but I couldn't keep it up because it was a bit pricey. They are quite popular for working wonders on the neck. LauraRae I also have the Prai Neck serum with small rollers and the Prai neck cream. They are Ageless not Pro but similar. I’m almost 77 and I noticed the sagging neck around 75. Everyone’s neck looks somewhat different & I never even noticed any veins in your neck. I like the serum & the cream and I believe it does tighten under the chin. Also I have the Mighty patch which is a great product. Yes even at 77 I break out. Not often but it is just as annoying. I’ll be interested in your success with the Prai. Good Luck.

Your brows are on trend, Laura. The thick bushy caterpillar brow is out. Skinny brows are not back, but groomed brows are. Yours are perfect no matter what the trend as they are natural suit you well. I didn’t used to be insecure about my brows but my left brow used to be my “favorite” and for some reason is more sparse these days. I have to use a pencil to even them out otherwise my face looks unbalanced. My real insecurity is my crooked nose. Contouring makes it look worse, so I don’t bother.
Yep the neck usually requires three steps to look better on my clients. 1) targeted massage, 2) high performance pro products and 3) high tech devices that work the muscles.
I think maybe why the neck ages 20x faster is because most people neglect to give the same intense attention they give to their face, especially sunscreen and moisturizer. I now feel naked and unfinished without it all over, which is a great thing. 😎

Do you know the RUclips Doctorly with Dr. Shah & Dr. Maxfield? Dr. Shah has been working on a product for three years & just came out with something named Remedy & he has always been very interested in ingredients & the right ones. He only has three things right now but is going to do more. I have a lot of trouble with my lips & he came up with a lip product that sounds promising so I ordered some. I really enjoy watching them. Laura Rae, that facial cleaner is intriguing. I do remember having a Clarisonic years ago. It looks great for a gentle , daily exfoliation. I use the soft cleansing clothes and love them, but I would imagine this tool will do a deeper job. Thanks for all of the research of products you do for your community. And as for the aging we are blessed to go through , a little natural help is always appreciated. At 72 years young I am realizing that there are some things I can do that will help in ways like moisturizing, cleansing, SPF , makeup etc……and much that Mother Nature has in store for me that I am just going to have to embrace as I add candles to the cake. I am 67 and my neck is a big concern for me. I think my neck ages me more than anything. My skin seemed to age overnight at 65. I went through menopause at the age of 50. Im 56 and about a year and a half ago i finally started back on my beauty journey. Im wrinkled and my neck is starting to sag right under my chin. I use res light therapy everyday and loads of good skincare. I have some neck creams but i get pilling on my neck and it drives me crazy. But im working on it and I can at least improve the look of my mature skin and i have. So im going to keep on working on it cuz thays all i can do. It can't hurt!!!! Thank you so much for being here. Fyi 60 was more than just skin..but now at almost 64 my skin looks better than it did 10 years ago, I just went ham on skin care.
I have found that I can no longer use products with niacinamide in them. I break out terribly from niacinamide.

I am 54 and I earned every line on my face and I am not self conscious at all. I think no one should be embarrassed to age naturally and gracefully.

LauraRae I also have the Prai Neck serum with small rollers and the Prai neck cream. They are Ageless not Pro but similar. I’m almost 77 and I noticed the sagging neck around 75. Everyone’s neck looks somewhat different & I never even noticed any veins in your neck. I like the serum & the cream and I believe it does tighten under the chin. Also I have the Mighty patch which is a great product. Yes even at 77 I break out. Not often but it is just as annoying. I’ll be interested in your success with the Prai. Good Luck.

Your brows are on trend, Laura. The thick bushy caterpillar brow is out. Skinny brows are not back, but groomed brows are. Yours are perfect no matter what the trend as they are natural suit you well. I didn’t used to be insecure about my brows but my left brow used to be my “favorite” and for some reason is more sparse these days. I have to use a pencil to even them out otherwise my face looks unbalanced. My real insecurity is my crooked nose. Contouring makes it look worse, so I don’t bother.
I have a crooked nose too from years of allergies, so you are amongst a friend. Also my brows are different from each other. Maybe we are related’😘❤️
Yep the neck usually requires three steps to look better on my clients. 1) targeted massage, 2) high performance pro products and 3) high tech devices that work the muscles.

I think maybe why the neck ages 20x faster is because most people neglect to give the same intense attention they give to their face, especially sunscreen and moisturizer. I now feel naked and unfinished without it all over, which is a great thing. 😎

Laura Rae, that facial cleaner is intriguing. I do remember having a Clarisonic years ago. It looks great for a gentle , daily exfoliation. I use the soft cleansing clothes and love them, but I would imagine this tool will do a deeper job. Thanks for all of the research of products you do for your community. And as for the aging we are blessed to go through , a little natural help is always appreciated. At 72 years young I am realizing that there are some things I can do that will help in ways like moisturizing, cleansing, SPF , makeup etc……and much that Mother Nature has in store for me that I am just going to have to embrace as I add candles to the cake. So gratitude, a genuine smile and joy in life are going to be my best friends. Have a wonderful week ahead.🌻❤

Im 56 and about a year and a half ago i finally started back on my beauty journey. Im wrinkled and my neck is starting to sag right under my chin. I use res light therapy everyday and loads of good skincare. I have some neck creams but i get pilling on my neck and it drives me crazy. But im working on it and I can at least improve the look of my mature skin and i have. So im going to keep on working on it cuz thays all i can do. It can't hurt!!!! Thank you so much for being here.
