Raymond High School students get a behind the scenes look at healthcare careers

More than 30 students from Raymond High School had a chance to get a behind the scenes look at rural healthcare careers at the Raymond Health Centre last month.
Guided by AHS volunteers and staff, students learned about a variety of nursing careers, met pharmacists and doctors, toured the maintenance department, environmental services, and food services. Students also learned about careers in physiotherapy and occupational therapy, lab and diagnostic imaging, and got hands on in the emergency department practicing CPR on a dummy. The attendees also had the opportunity to walk through an ambulance with EMS.
