Rancher's Journey Back to Alberta Foothills

Alberta rancher Tony Webster has spent nearly a year in the intensive care unit battling a rare autoimmune condition. With the support of his healthcare team, Webster was able to enjoy a deeply meaningful home visit-surrounded by loved ones and the expansive beauty of Alberta’s rolling foothills.
In addition to two AHS EMS paramedics who volunteered their time, Webster had a nurse practitioner, a respiratory therapist, and a registered nurse with him at home and in the ambulance. The ambulance, normally used for inter-facility transfers in High River, was off-duty that day.
