As a newly graduated electrician, I can not only confirm but assert that wall gnomes are a well known phenomenon in the world of electricity. We had a whole chapter dedicated to calculating and taking into account the electricity their little pie shops use as to not overload the system and cause any manufacturing loss, thankfully the government only charges for that energy on larger scale operations like the ones in the walls of cheesecake factories. Great to see them represented for the world to see, as mindfulness is the first step to prevent accidents while doing renovations.
The walls in this building have a three way turf war between black mold, mice and definitely a few martens. I kinda hope the martens win although apparently they're the most likely to go and damage cars in the parking lot. And presumably the mold is the least likely of the three

im not an electrician but i do have electrical eng education the tradesmen have an understanding with the gnomes: they keep the secret in exchange for occasional help with getting into hard to reach places to do simple wiring, otherwise they would be misunderstood by the rest of us big folk and trapped and put in zoos and whatnot

I love this channel more than any other on youtube. Best animations I have ever watched. The art style, the voice acting and the music are all top notch. I can't get enough I've watched this entire library 100s of times. I really think Wire and Xylophone need the Big Top Burger treatment with their own seasons!
