i know this year isn't the same and for many of you you'll be alone or seperated from family like myself.. so i hope that this video gives you some calmness or brightens your day a little bit. even though i'm living alone i'm determined to celebrate & try to make the most of the holidays. so i did some last minute shopping for gifts, food & makeup, had a little scare where i thought i was going to bring carl to the vets, cooked a HUGE christmas feast, and cozied up watching christmas movies.
i hope you guys enjoyed this different version of vlogmas & this video.. i'll see you in the new year!!

I’m so sad that you haven’t seen Francesco in 4 months! That’s so hard. I decided not to celebrate xmas this year and I love xmas. It didn’t feel right to be all “merry” when it’s been such a horrible year. I feel at peace with not celebrating and keeping things simple. I think there is too much pressure on everyone this time of year.
Sometimes I say my superpower as a mental health therapist is reframing sh*t. I think it’s ok to say next year will be a great year. For all the bad in the world this year, look how many wonderful things happened for you - you went to university, you did great in all your classes, you found an awesome apartment & decorated it, you kept all of our spirits up with your videos, and that’s just off the top of my head. It’s true that 2020 was not the year any of us planned to have but I think it also taught us that if we can get through this, we can get through anything!

I've been living with my parents since March and even though it's very strange at the age of 26 after years of independence, I'm grateful to be with family right now. Still, I haven't really seen someone my own age since the summer and feel isolated, too. Grateful for your channel and to see that we are all in this together

I'm alone and really struggling with binge eating , i just need freedom. I'm so exhausted , i couldn't do anything due to my eating disorder , i just kept eating and eating like a monster , everything was fine but I don't know what happened to me again .

This helped me so much. I’m in America, and I also spent Christmas away from family for the first time (although I’m blessed to have been able to be with my boyfriend, since we are in a bubble). Still, it’s been really hard and the choice was not easy. I keep feeling okay about it, then having feelings of regret. It had felt like everyone I know ignored the guidelines and felt like I was missing out, but deep down I know I made the right choice in helping protect my family. It really helped being able to see you doing this, and I’m really sorry Francesco couldn’t make it. You’ll make it through! Merry Christmas ❤️
