Cha Eun Woo just doesn't have chemistry with anyone. he acts like his role is supposed to be a creep. he just stares and smiles. 😂😂😂
Cha Eunwoo also had not-so-great chemistry with his partner in "A Good Day To be A Dog". The plot made it worse so the drama felt cringey to me, hence I failed to finish it.
Imo Cha Eunwoo should act in other genre than romcom (eg: thriller, fantasy, or horror, with less romantic scenes) ✌
About Im Soohyang & Shin Sekyung, to me they've got somewhat 'poker face' so it affects their chemistry with their partners, so viewers hardly could see it. From actors, I find it in Kim Youngdae, Lee Minho. With these actors, I'd watch their dramas/movies ONLY IF the premise and the plot are promising and better they're not romcom 😁

i dont agree with cleanliness passion regarding chemistry but yes age gap was shocking she's minor in that drama so one can feel off but her acting never makes us feel dull not even a moment. both acted so well but their chemistry may seem too hurried up but not off really. thats my fav best drama in the list. and strong girl its not onew fault its definitely ryusio's fault for being too hot and charming

It's not the age gap, but the competency of the actors and the director are lacking. The good acting and directorship of No Gain No Love make the age difference of FL & ML disappear. Um Tae Gu of My Sweet Mobster said he would think deeply, immerse himself in each character- the outcome is how alive and genuine the character comes across.

Namsoon true. Chemistry was between the baddie and the girl. The dude was all in and in my view that's the main ingredient of good chemistry.
I've watched Bride of Habaek, Strong girl Namsoon and Itaewon class - i agree with this analysis. The chemistry was lackin. The moment the moment the guy is spoofing, chemistry will be lacking

well thats a good chemistry for me, they look like two polar opposite couple . it was trending backthen. if anyone watched it after true beauty they would definitely feel off with their chemistry because their mood is different but i watched it during release so not felt anything off and i really liked im soohyang too. i agree with remaining esp bride of haebok their chemistry is too boring as their personalities look same awkward introverted shy pale with no life in both of their eyes.

Completely disagree with Clean for Passion for Now - I thought their chemistry was great despite the age gap. The worst thing about that drama was the OST!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the whole list ! It really is unbelievable, because the stories had so much potential. In some cases they had 1/2 the couple right! Also I think it’s sad that in most cases it was the females that were the problem. I wish a few of them would get a redo . Like Bride of the Water God had so much potential!

Im Soo Hyang and Shin Se-Kyung always had no chemistry with their partners. I don’t know why the k-drama land always gave them romcoms. Lee See young is the best, she always has great chemistry with all of her partners esp cha eun woo in big hit.

I have not watched the 8 dramas here. I started watching Itaewon Class and Kokdu but I didn't finish. Yes, because the lead couples have no chemistry. Im Soo Hyang is in 2 dramas listed...does that mean she has no chemistry with her leading men? That is why I also didn't watch her latest drama with Ji Hyun Woo.
Tbh Itaewon Class is a really good story and I enjoyed the story a lot but could have done without the romance between the leads. I’m still going to keep trying Im Soo Hyang dramas until I find one where I like the chemistry 💪🏽
Maybe Im Soo Hyang is not a leading lady material

I stopped watch kdramas. All women and men looks exactly the same. Fake and not so talented. I honestly can’t name one very talented actor within the younger generations. No chemistry…of course no acting talent.
