Kudos to canva for introducing this cool content planner. It's like having your social media PA. But man, I’ve also been using boost app social for my ig and tiktok. Gives me some really cool content ideas in no time.

Hey, great tutorial! I've been having a Teams issue where my assistant creates and schedules the posts and I can see them in the calendar on my end but I can't edit the captions. Is there a way for me to have access to editing the captions within the calendar?
The only workaround we've figured out is if I make a copy of the post then edit it and delete her initial one. Obviously this isn't ideal 😅. Any pointers would be super helpful!

Not with Canva unfortunately. Your clients would have Canva and you can connect to their account for this.

Thanks for the video. Any thoughts on the best process for scheduling the same design to; facebook, instagram, twitter and linkedin. It seems like you can only schedule 1 design to 1 platform.. so i guess duplicate the design 4 times? Is there a better way?
I'd like to know how to do this too @StewartGauld. It seems like Later does this more easily, but I like that I can create and post all with one site. I'd like to know how to post to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn with one design, while not having to create duplicates.

Thanks. You can but not from Canva. At the moment they do not like you can find in tools like Buffer and Later.

Unfortunately, you cannot do this yet.
I've searched a dozen or more videos similar to yours. The one issue I don't see covered is the most efficient way to post 10 or more unique posts from a single project at a time. For example: I created a template, copied it 5 times within the same project folder then created unique copy for each - this is useful for A/B testing. If each post were its own "folder" then I would have 100s of folders making it difficult to actually sort through the satats. Do you know of any work around?

Great job again. Where do or can posts link to? Can I add RUclips, Image( link in image) or Website links? Or is it subject to the platform criteria? I was using Jetpack auto-sharing, but it now limits free functionality and no longer posts to Twitter. What is the best way to share blog posts, in your opinion, not just images? I have been using Jetpack Social (free for 30 posts) to auto-share posts to Facebook, Tumblr, Linkedin and (Twitter, supposed to be closing soon) and link back to my WordPress website to the recipe. I am looking for the best way to auto-share my cooking classes when I go live soon.

This tool is not ideal for agencies. I suggest looking into Buffer or Later.

I'm also unable to select multiple accounts for my posts - I guess there is a glitch for some of us. I have to just copy the post and reschedule it for all my different accounts. Also is it possible to schedule stories? if not is there a platform that you would recommend for stories?

Yes you can post multiple images by selecting multiple pages for one post.
Hello - is there any way to post links in the social content? So for example if I share a product, how does the customer head to my website to buy it without having the manually go onto the instagram or facebook bio links??

Yes you can on Facebook. However, Instagram posts do not have clickable links.

That correct mate. If Canva has all the features that you use for scheduling content.
Thank you for this video my question to you is…can you do one post without making a copy of that post in content planner to add to facebook , instagram, and facebook groups, multiple business pages or is the only way to make a copy of the post? It makes a mess of you canva folders having to make over 20 copies when posting to multiple social media accounts and pages was wondering if there was a way to by pass copying the post to your knowledge
Welcome! You do not have to make a copy when posting through the planner.

I manage 60 Facebook pages can way to bulk schedule the same post? For example if I want to post happy Valentine’s Day to all my pages how do I do that without having to do one at a time

Hi Stewart! Thanks so much for this great tutorial! Quick question, when I try to schedule a post as carrousel, I don't have the option to add multiple pages to the post or different media format. It only allows me to post a single image and it says: "Instagram business only accepts one page per post". I have the pro version. I would really appreciate your help on this!
Welcome! Yes unfortunately there are limitations just like this one with Canvas Content Planner.

hey there is an issue with this though, it does not let me select and schedule multiple images from one project. This is really strange limitation. Do I need seperate projects for each scheduled posts?

How do you scedule post the other pages once you selected only 1 or 2 from the first one? because when i try to do more, it says it will pause the sceduled post as i am editing it, but i just want to add the other pages.

@@StewartGauld After initially making 20 bulk posts for insta for example - i schedule the first page for day 1. But when i try to select to schedule to do day 2, it says content sceduling will be paused as i am editing it. So long story short - it only lets me scedule the first post of the bulk 20 or 30 i make. Unless I copy each individual page created, into a new one. Is that the only way?
how do you separate the comments in the planner since Twitter has a word count restriction but instagram you can have a longer caption?
Unfortunately you will have to create two seperate campaigns or keep the caption to a minimum.
I am trying to understand, I have bulk create and am trying to schedule 7 days of tips, but I am not able to get past day 1 as it shows its already scheduled

Yes, however, you can create in Canva and then simultaneously post across all your different channels. Just a better system then using FB alone.

Why if I am connecting my instagram page must I have it to a facebook page? I have a personal fb/instagram page that has nothing to do with my podcast account I’d like to link up here. I don’t want to make an account for my podcast on facebook but I want to use the planner? Can you clarify if that is possible?
You need to link your personal in order to access your page and business IG account.
@@StewartGauld Even if my instagram is not going to be labeled a professional account? When you do that they seriously limit the amount of sounds/songs you can find to use on your reels.
Hi Stewart! When I try to connect my Facebook or Instagram page to Canva, it says: "You did not give the permission you need to publish, try connecting your account again. How can i fix it ? thank you in advance!!!!!
You will have to give the app permission inside your FB account.
I've run into problems using bulk create. I imported a csv file and generated 30 different quotes, all within the same canva design - so 30 pages of Instagram posts. When I tried to schedule the post i ran into problems. I would go to schedule, select the date, channel and page. I did this 30 times and then discovered only the final attempt had actually saved to the scheduler. It seems I need to make copies of my design to schedule it which seems to defeat the object. I've spent ages googling and cant find anything that mentions this. As it stands I've now got 30 copies of my 30 page design sitting in my canva lol - any ideas?

I had the same problem. It seems you can only schedule 1-page of a multipage project at a time. In the end I downloaded 30 pages as PNGs and scheduled them one at a time into Twitter. Is there a way to convert a multi-page project into a set of one-page projects?

Are you using Pro? You should be able to access it.
@@StewartGauld I do and on my left menu it says Magic Studio-Projects-Templates-Brand-Apps in descending order. When I look at the features, it says (for Pro) Schedule social media content to 8 platforms. I'm confused now. :)
