My husband's bike has a pale yellow in his. Should he just continue to use 4 instead of switching to 5. The bike is supposed to have 5.

I use the Sharpe test. If you draw a line on a white piece of paper with a black sharpie, dip your finger in the the break fluid and smear it over the line. Dot 5 will not smear the line, dot 3 will smear it.
