Thanks to Dr. Youn, I started doing a skin care routine on my face. Now, it looks cleaner and healthier.
im male and been using Dove Soap on my face with no additives .... then i put on Niacinamide 5% which helps clear up large pores or dry irritated & redness.... (it contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin e, avocado and rosemary oil.... then i put on CBD full spectrum lotio/cream and after if i go out i apply a 50 + sunscreen since im living near the oceanside...
ive tried almost everything on the planet, im 70 years old and many people ask me about what i do for my skin and am i really 70?
what makes me look older these days is if i forget or dont shave a few days... other than that im a happy camper even though my face masks hides most of my skin care work... lol

Dr. Youn, I am back to working full time and also in college full time. I have to wear a mask for 8-9 hours a day! I do change my mask after lunch time, and I wash my face after work, but I’m finding my skin is breaking out more than usual. Do you have any tips on skincare for people wearing masks all day?? I know that some people are talking about the St. Ives being a problem but I started wondering but don’t men need to exfoliate with a physical scrub before u shave ur face and or body? It is usually recommended.
St. Ives might be to too rough but I have seen many of my skin clients that need physical scrubs/gommages as tough as this one all the time.
I don’t know if St. Ives all that bad for like once a week when shaving but not everyday.
I remember I used it on my body instead because I started to think that it can b irritating not that it was but I’m sure the fragrance wasn’t all that great for me but it does wash off.
The only time I recommend a more abrasive scrub would be when my clients have never exfoliated and they need to break through the caked sebum as well as dead layers of skin that’s rough to get off through the nose but other than that use it on their bodies. Because it will b great for brighter smoother softer skin.
My physical and chemical scrub of choice for the body rn is: First Aid Beauty: scrub w/ 10% AHA. Feels amazing

(Btw i was wondering if u can make a video on transgender surgeries you have done and consultation questions that we should know or have answered prior to going to see any surgeon of our choice. I am having a difficult time finding a doctor who understands the ways of my Transition and why (I am a nonconforming/non-binary Transgender individual that leans more fem) i don’t feel comfortable transitioning surgically when these doctors don’t understand how to work within the Trans Umbrella and think that everything is binary maybe u can help and she’s some light into this situation I’m sure many are facing.

It might work better for some people, but personally in my experiences and every other person that I’ve seen use it they’ve had bad reactions to it.
Poor Dr. Youn getting bullied by Hyrum's rabid attack dogs. What certifications or education does Hyrum have that make him qualified to be giving skincare advice? This is why I 1000% prefer Susan Yara. She is very respectful and has actual Derms and estheticians come on her channel. Men do have thicker skin then women so the St. Ives should be fine. Everyone's skin is different of course and every skin care professional will have different opinions and advice. STOP ATTACKING AND BULLYING OTHERS THAT DO NOT SHARE THE SAME OPINION AS SOME KID ON RUclips. Please, this is not the first time I have witnessed such harassment on social media due to this "guru".
