2. I started my locs July 4, 2021
3. I have around 77 locs, but I started with 129. My stylist combined them due to them being too small.
4. My loose natural hair was long when I started. Length Check Video here • BLUE MAGIC HAIR GREASE...
5. I went to a stylist for about 8 or 9 months and she used gel to do my retwist. She retwisted with water and oil, only, as requested, on my last visit. with her in March 2022. • BLUE MAGIC HAIR GREASE...
6. I started retwisting my hair, myself, May 2022 using oil and water, only.
7. My desired length is mid-back length locs.
8. I retwist every 2 to 4 months bcuz I love the nappy/knotty roots look and don't want my locs to be thin and skinny.

I hate riding the bus or trains in Chicago, they be wild as hell out here. Like a lot of these youngins have NO home training. Hi, Adrienne! You sholl right about the rudeness. It's outrages! I definitely understand about wanting to fight, if someone hits you, but you have to figure out if its worth losing your income and retirement. I had to make the best decision at that time and I'm glad, I did, because I'm gettig paid every month from my job, from retirement. Life goes on. I always appreciate your comments. 🤗🤩

Thank you so much for understanding. I've had many co-workers lose their job, because of a bad split decison. They had to have the union to fight to get their job back. They would be waiting up to 2 years or more and not even get back-pay. Un, un! Not me!
@NeziNappsakaNezi I had a co-worker who lost her job last year due to her and another co-worker arguing with one another. Before this incident, I would always try and advise the one who I'm friends with not to allow anyone to cause you to lose your job. She didn't listen. The manager told them at first they were suspended for so many days. After everything was said and done, the manager decided to not allow them to return due to one saying she was threatened by the other one.

Yeah, it's so many moisturizers for our locs. Most of us use the rosewater spray, but I love the peppermint in mine. There's a popular one on Amazon, that people use, but I can't remember the name brand. I know that using hot water on hair, will dry it out. I use warm water, instead. You can use any gllsser, you can find. I like that it doesn't have alcohol in it. You're welcome, sis. 😊

I know what you mean. I take a shower in the morning before I leave the house and at night, to keep my temperature regulated. I hate feeling super hot.
@@NeziNappsakaNezi Girrrrl I do that too, or sit in the tub with cold water. I was eating a lot of ice cream, but realized I had to stop because of the calories. So I just keep a big cup of ice with me🤦🏾♀️

Girl, I never take off my bead. It stays on while shampooing and retwisting my locs, but of course, my locs are more matured than yours. Once you hit your one year mark, you don't have to retwist down the shaft, as often. Right now, you are in the shaping and molding stage; your hair is in training. Just remember, always going down the shaft with retwisting, tends to make your locs skinnier and thinner. I go down the shaft maybe once a year, very lightly, just to knock out the flatness and keep a nice rounded-like shape.
Hey Nezi….You have a unique way of twisting your hair 🤷🏾♀️ I’m so use to comb method or they twist from root downwards; whelp it worked out for you ☺️. I was just telling you how you can solve the issue of crocheting your loose hair into lock so you don’t have to worry about it 🤷🏾♀️.

Yeah, retiwist kinda weird, but it works for me. I don't know how to retwist with a comb. We sure do have alot of bus stories. They be juicy, too. Thank you, sissy!☺🥰
