- Just venting about home repairs and updates. I feel a little aggravated, iritated and aggravated, but, that's what happens when are a home owner. It's natural to feel this way.

2. I started my locs July 4, 2021
3. I have around 77 locs, but I started with 129. My stylist combined them due to them being too small.

5. I went to a stylist for about 8 or 9 months and she used gel to do my retwist. She retwisted with water and oil, only, as requested, on my last visit. with her in March 2022. • BLUE MAGIC HAIR GREASE...
6. I started retwisting my hair, myself, May 2022 using oil and water, only.
7. My desired length is mid-back length locs.
8. I retwist every 2 to 4 months bcuz I love the nappy/knotty roots look and don't want my locs to be thin and skinny.

Whew girl, sounds like you have your hands full. A house is soooo much responsibility. I have always been in an apartment because I didnt want to deal with the hassle of having a house; yet I know being a homeowner is rewarding. But I hope you will be happy with your new carpet‼️
Yes, you are right! My hands have been full and it's been a little stressful. My brain was so fried, yesterday, to where it felt like it was going to blow up. Plus, having strangers throughout my house, with free range and touching my furniture, walls, garage, etc. is stressful on top of that. I'm not used to people in my house, let alone, strangers. Being a homeowner is rewarding, but it can be very overwhelming at times, but, I don't miss living in an apartment. I am very happy with my new carpet. They did an awesome job. I'm glad that's over. Now, here comes stress #2. Finding a painter that's reasonably priced, that won't be in my house for no more than 7 days and won't waste paint on my new carpet. Sigh... It's a never ending story.
@@NeziNappsakaNezi I know❗ Im the same way, dont want strangers in my apartment❗ The painter should use a tarp under himself so he shouldnt damage your carpet. Are you getting the whole house painted?
No, just the upstairs for right now. The garage will be second and I may do the basement, myself.

Hello, to you! You're right! It will be rewarding in the long run. I love my new carpet, so much. I can't wait to get my house painted. The carpet made my dirty walls stand out.😥 but, at the same time, my rooms look bigger. Lol One day, hopefully, I'll be on RUclips, regularly, like I used to. Things are so different for me and it's so hard to keep my mind on it. Let's hope that when I get my life back in order, I'll connect with you all, again. Just know that I have not quit. I may not post as often, but I'm still here. I miss you, too. 🫠

I love my storm door. I lock it, so if someone does come & I happen to answer, there is a barrier & I just feel safe.
10 year warranty on the compressor & still had to pay 650? It wasn't your fault it went out. That's terrible but you did what was best.
I felt safe with my storm door, too. I didn't realize how safe I felt, until, I got rid of it. It took about 5 weeks to feel somewhat safe. I don't like the storm door look, anymore. Yes, it cost $625 with my coupon to get my fridge fixed. I like my refrigerator that much to get it repaired.

Hey Sista Nezi!! I am so happy that they were able to give you new carpet! I had a Whirlpool Stainless Steel Refrigerator...went out at 7 years🤬 These fancy gadgets ain't worth it, for real!! The compressor went out on mine, too!! As I always say...being a Homeowner is a blessing but it's going to ALWAYS be another episode of...."IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHIN'".....I gotta get my shed torn down...meet with a dude tomorrow for an estimate😟You know that I'm in The 'Natti...who dis company shippin' you this damn glass😒??!! Fed Ex need to be careful while shipping people's things! I love ya, Sis❤!! Get back at us with the carpet once installed!!
Me, too! I was totally shocked when they said, that's what they were going to do. Give me all new carpet! Wow! That's messed up when your fridge went out in 7 years, too. What did you do with your fridge? Did you buy a new one? I hope your shed estimate be reasonable, cause, everything these days are super pricey. I know that shed removal has been on your project list awhile. I'm glad you are going to remove it, soon. I almost forgot that you live there. I really hope it comes, uncracked, but at the same time, if I have to come there, I'll be able to see you.😁😎 I sure will show you all, once, the carpet and house is complete. Basic is usually better vs all the bells and whistles as I have found.
Yes! Sometimes, basic is better. You don't have to spend as much money on expensive, unecceassy, repairs.

Invest in a home warranty.
Those are ripoffs. They do better for people who have constant repairs, but they are not worth it, for me.
