At start I actually turned Corny off because Last was sooooo out to lunch about AEdub. He would bash NXT (which was amazing at the time) and talk up AEdub (which was terrible).
But Last is finally admiting now about how terrible AEdub is.

Isn't it weird how the only people online that like and praise AEW have never actually worked in the wrestling business at all? It's almost as if AEW is for clueless marks.
They used to have some good wrestling fans with the marks back when they did at least 900K in the ratings and had great attendance. Now both are falling like a meteor and the only ones left are the most insufferable marks.
i've never worked in wrestling. But i know it well enough to know everything that Konnan, Bischoff, Russo, Cornette, Nash, ect say about AEW is true. Because i see the same thing. Nobody with any logical sense of how creative booking of wrestling should work for wrestling tv can defend AEW. Because it is both bad and lacks any form of sense for the most part.

Everything is great, our shows this week are one of the best, the wrestlers are great, our negotiations with WBD are great and there is a reason everyone comes to AEW because AEW is where the best wrestle. WWE is the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling. AEW is the best- Tony Clown

So he’s seen the respect his father’s accomplishments have given him and thinks because he came from that nutsack he should also be respected the same way. But he’s a billionaires son, who’s never been told no, never heard anything negative about himself without complaining, and you HAVE to listen to him because he has money. Spoiled adult child

Watching Tony Khan refute the most basic forms of criticism is a real insight to how petulant most of the 1% are, and it makes so much sense as to why most forms of entertainment suck now a days. Bunch of brats with too much money in charge.
Tony's twitter rants tell you all you need to know about him on a mental ego level. He is like a message board shit poster who tries to hashtag own you when you say things he dislikes. and acts like a nerd mark instead of a professional.
There's way to many long matches on Dynamite & Collision which makes the viewers lose interest. But Tony only books to his hardcore fanbase that's why he's running off his TV audience.
It’s the Indie mindset where workrate is the only thing that matters. It’s the same mindset where a one note joke like Orange Cassidy gets played every week. It’s the same mindset that encourages blading in meaningless matches. It’s the same mindset that sticks heel managers with babyface wrestlers and vice versa. It’s the same mindset where just having a recognizable name appear at the show is considered a “draw”.
AEW is now, and has been since its inception, amateur hour. It was forgivable in the early days, but 5 years and hundreds of millions of dollars later, it’s impossible to justify.

I have my issues with Russo,(the ones most people have) but I'd still listen to her if he was giving me advice on running a promotion.

Good points as always. I was an avid AEW watcher from day one up until a year ago when I had to drop my cable subscription. Once Cody left the company took a huge pivot and once they got Punk it sorta up ticked and looked like it was going to get better while in-between that the hottest thing going was Jericho, Mox, and MJF, since then they have had nothing else that screams standout. Nothing else that has really popped off the page and that’s where your idea would work to have 3 different feels for their shows. Make a few tie ins for continuity on major angles/stories and let the lower to mid stories/angles simmer on the other shows. At least that’s what was tried at first and it went away from that. Like Dynamite was supposed to be the main show, Rampage and Dark were the up and comers then they scrap Dark for Collision. So then went semi roster split with Rampage feeling like WCW Saturday Night where next to no one was over on it except for Jeff Jarrett and his crew coming off the heels of Flair’s Last Match. And ROH is more less OVW and Sunday Night Heat in its last days. I mean damn, Conrad Thompson and David Crockett could produce a better show than half of what AEW is doing right now.. At this point Tony Khan could hire Vince McMahon, Jim Cornette, Vince Russo, and Eric Bischoff and probably wouldn’t be able to pull the nose up on this at the moment.
Cody, Punk, Jade, Spears, Pillman, and quite possibly a few others will or have landed back in WWE and they are thriving.
They had potential with Christian and Edge and that kinda went to the wayside. Have them come the realization that they need each other more than they thought after their feud. And then they could go on their magical tag run and make the Hardys relevant again…
What do I know? I’m just a life long fan of wrestling that’s seen AWA, World Class, NWA, WCW, WWF, ECW, TNA, and others. The most I watch anymore is between January and April for the Road to WrestleMania anymore.
I really want AEW to remain healthy because no one but WWE is going to destroy WWE. NWA is up and coming, OVW is doing great, and apparently MLW is good too as they’re getting poached of their top guys left and right. Looks like AAA is still going strong. TNA is on its way back up. There’s so much good stuff out there.
Bin is completely of base about his whole “psychology” ramble. A heel has to believe what they are saying, so there has to be an element of truth, the dislikable part comes in with the way they handle the situation.

To anyone watching WWE outside of Kansas City Mahomes is a Heel because unless you are a chiefs fan odds are you hate Mahomes lol. Not literally. At this point AEW is a running gag. My biggest concern as AEW continues to lose legitimacy in the eyes of fans will WWE become complacent again? We always need competition in pro wrestling.
You want to give AEW a set of rules that the heels can break. Hear me out: Code of Honor. Make ROH the developmental, they do the Code. Bring the Code of Honor to AEW. If anything, it will make it easier to play loose and fast with the rules.

Cornette said it was going to be a mess before they even started. But yes pretty much all the good shows (including yours) are now in unison on what Tony is doing wrong. As someone who attended AEW's first show in Vegas in 2019, I wish he would listen. But Tony looks like he's on the deck of the Titanic and everyone around him is just playing the music he wants to hear while the ship sinks. Makes me sad.
