Excuse me.Why did you used a Atmega and a arduino,using 2 microcontrolers? What the distance between the color sensor and the floor? Sorry for english,i'm a brazilian.
Measuring the distance and calculating the avarage value slowed down the line-following process, so the robot started missing the line. We put an Atmega that handled the distance sensors by itself, leaving Arduino working on the line-following. The line sensors were more than 1 cm above the ground. We considered that a speed-bump could be 1cm high
