Which one of you drew that absolute unit in the snow? 😏
Guilty. I'm 54 years old.
I use primes 90% of the time- for portraits.
The difference between zooming with feet vs. zooming with zoom lens is not so much perspective, as you can frame up the same shot either way. The difference is depth of field ("compression") in the background.
Either can work, but I definitely agree that always zooming with the lens creates lazy habits. (Unless you're a sports photographer with no choice in the matter ) But these days of smartphones and AI, I give credit to _any_ photographer taking the time to walk around with _any_ lens.
Great shots!
Limiting your options enhances creativity, it's a paradox, but it's true. Jack White talked about it in an interview - that's why he used a crappy old cheap guitar in The White Stripes, and just had guitar and drums, everything coloured red, black and white etc. Also why rich dentists with tons of gear take boring photos!
Hi, Sean! I missed you by a day at Coney Island. Darn! I was visiting Emma and family in Brooklyn. We had a great time at the aquarium that day!
You captured the stark beauty of the day, beautifully.
You are quite an artist! Best wishes for continued success!
Sean can you make a video showing us how you edit your photos?
I only use prime lenses. 24 1.4GM,35 1.4GM, 50 1.4GM and 85 1.8. Never had any interest in zoom lenses. With the 24/50 or 35/85 combo you can also travel very compactly.
Have you tried something like a 14mm?
@@bngr_bngr No, anything well under 20mm is not my look
Great video! Super inspiring to just get out and shoot anything! 🙌🏼
I am definitely lazy
Aren't we all 😅
The real art is in the snow drawing, but the photos are cool too!
jk haha it was probably a 34 year old. Photos beautiful as always!
Right?! 😂😂
Loved this style of photography (the contrast with the snow and the colors was incredible!) and the idea of choosing some constraints to practice creativity. I’m headed to the Big Sur/Monterrey Bay area soon and I thought I might try only bringing two lenses. What would you suggest between 45, 75, wide angle and macro to play with?
I didn’t realise that viagra helps with Raynauds. Thanks for the tip.
I love this style of video. The photos are amazing 😍 and you explained the techniques very well👏🏼
Your super inspiring Sean thank you, the colors on these photos are 🔥 are these grades from one of your preset packs?
6:12 Yass I feel weird. 🏳️🌈😁🤭😂
It’s too cold to shoot in winter.
brother, those photos are so fire
Hello :)
Now I have to rewatch ''The Warriors''!
Never heard of it! Will have to look it up
