Wished I would have seen one of the live shows as a kid in the 70/80's. Grew up in Oklahoma and love the cowboy and indians lore of the SouthWest. Miss listening to Hank tell stories. Love the show. Much luv
I sure do miss Hank. this is my home area and I moved from there in 1984 to pursue medicine. many times, I have wished I had never gone to med school. my 1st love was those Superstition Mts. now at 72 and legally blind I miss those Mts. and I miss the stories told by Hank that brought my past back to life.
What he said at the end is exactly why I love historical places. I have to refrain from touching things 😂 because I love to touch things for the connection but obviously you can’t always do that.

Those guys that went into that canyon with the ladder that was hanging down need to go back up there and look at the surrounding rocks and see if they can glean some more info if they haven't solved that cross
Hank Sheffer was an amazing storyteller. He is deeply missed. His stories will endure like petroglyphs etched on our hearts.

I’m so glad I got to meet Hank, right before he passed away. He was at the museum and I heard his distinctive voice. Got my pic taken with him also
