R33 gtr withe the r92 engine swap and all upgrades and then tuned back down to 700 pp easily gets sub 4min laps at le mans and can do the whole half hour without pitting if the weather isnt too bad and you go easier on the fuel. Just an easy, enjoyable and still very fast car to grind with.
I like to do both without the custom transmission to get more power out of them. In that case the R34 is better due to the extra gear making it faster and more fuel efficient, but the R33 is my favourite GTR anyways so I flip flop between the 2. This is something I noticed no one mentions when talking about swaps, but the fuel consumption also changes depending on the engine, being Road Cars the worst consumption and Gr.1s the best (with Gr.2s being a really close second) So for example, if you swap the S15 Silvia Touring Car with the NISMO engine, you're basically trading decent fuel consumption with power, or for example the R26B and the R92CP's engine being Gr.1 engines, they can go around Le Mans 30 minutes for around 4 - 5 laps... So yeah, for me, my favourites are the 787B, R92CP and the NSX Gr.2 engines because of awesome power and insane fuel consumption You're welcome XD Edit: Since this comment is getting some attention, I'll add some more info. The Tomahawk GTS-R is a very close one, because it has insane power and its consumption is almost identical to a Gr.1, but the X variant doesn't... Maybe because of the 2623 HP... (And with its power... Who cares, right? Wonder when we'll get a car with that swap... That would be crazy XD)

I'm mentioning this since you could only ever do this in forza with mods, and even then you'd be limited by the livery creator tool
Not only does GT7 (ironically) feature more downforce bodykit options than Forza, but GT7 also lets you play around with power limiters and ballasts. In Forza, if you max out your car and want to tune the weight distribution or horsepower for a lower class race, your best chance is taking some of those parts off, and depending on the car, you may be well off the mark of the top of the class regardless of how well you tune it. With Gran Turismo, it’s as simple as using the power limiter, ECU, and ballast not only for limiting performance for a certain race, but also making cars handle better by tuning the weight distribution accordingly.

Definitely worth swapping the engine for the Pontiac Trams AM. Even with the swap engine turned to the max. It is still quite easy to control. It can put the power down quite well. It will still go sideways if you put the gas on half way though the corner.
The 5.0 Pantera is one of my favorite swaps to drive. Not only do I absolutely love the looks of that car, it actually handles like it's on rails and just does what you want it to no fuss
After reaching collector level 50 recently, I’ve decided to weigh in on my opinions regarding engine swaps that I’ve done. 2002 RX7 w/ the 787B engine: Sure, it’s fast in a straight line. It also corners and brakes good unlike the 1988 Silvia with the LS7 engine, and (at least when detuned to ~700 PP or ~410 HP) has absolutely amazing fuel economy even by not-rotary engine standards. S660 w/ 2&4 engine: Handles like a dream come true, and when tuned right can be a nightmare for the WTC600 races. Tundra w/ the Lexus GT500 engine: All around fun to hoon around in on the dirt, especially with the high RPM turbo making it compete well with actual rally cars. All said, it handles surprisingly well by truck standards. Cappuccino w/ the RX7 engine: Full disclosure, I got this BEFORE reaching level 50, but I like it all the same. It’s fast, also surprisingly fuel efficient like the RX7’s swap (especially considering it’s a rotary engine), and easy to tune to a 50:50 weight distribution without sacrificing a ton of weight. That said though, the brakes are a little crummy for the speeds it goes for. S13 Silvia w/ the LS7: Also got this before reaching level 50. While fast in a straight line, it’s hard to get it to corner well, even when following your tune. I’ve given it a tune myself (max’d out LSD, toe-out for both front and rear wheels to assist in not spinning out, giving the rear wing much more downforce than the front), and while it corners well in SSRX, that’s about all it corners well in. Did I mention the brakes are crummy for the speeds it goes at? Would perform (but haven’t for one reason or another) S800: as much as I want to, I only have one S800, and the used car dealership is not providing any extras any time soon, so I’m holding off for now. Mazda 3: I actually got one to reference the Pikes Peak version. Trouble is, the swap itself is expensive, and the body parts don’t match the real Pikes Peak Mazda 3 at all. The latter doesn’t bother me that much tho. R34 Skyline: As much as I’d love a Pikes Peak R34 in the same vein as the Escudo or the more recent road-focused Pikes Peak cars, this engine is also prohibitively expensive. As much as it sounds like I’m making a big deal out of it, I’ll be real; it’s INFINITELY more preferable than the atomically small chances of winning it. Amuse GT1 S2000: I simply haven’t gotten around to it yet, lmao.
An addendum (thx for the heart btw) The R34 w/ the R92CP engine is an absolute BEAST on the dirt, but at max power, I start to understand why the Escudo has so much turbo lag. Tuned at 700 PP, I was able to get a 1:15 lap time on Sardegna Windmills, but with max power, it took me a longer while to beat that lap time by a second. The Tundra w/ the GT500 swap leaves me wondering why there weren’t ever any dedicated racing trucks in the franchise. It’s fun as hell to take out to the dirt and pass dedicated rally cars in. Due to the fact I can’t put any downforce on it however, I actually have it tuned to where the springs are 290mm above the ground, and 200mm to the rear. It’s usually found on the American truck equivalent of ricers, but there IS a reason behind this in baja racing; since the trucks are usually front heavy, they dip lower after the ramp, so raising the front ride height prevents the bumper from touching the ground before the wheels do. It’s nice that this philosophy translates well into GT7, even if unintentionally. The 1991 Honda Beat with the Civic engine almost made me felt dirty with how thoroughly I left my opponents in the dust on the 1 hour Kei-Cup endurance race. Somehow, without the racing ECU that also lowers horsepower, I still managed to get the PP level below 400 for the race, despite me having a 50+ HP advantage. Heck, in general it’s disgustingly overpowered for its performance point rating. With racing hards it has around 550 PP, yet it can reliably compete with cars that have AT LEAST 100 more than that. I recently got the Mazda3 just for the swap, and got a livery for it to resemble Mad Mike’s car. Unfortunately, it can’t be made RWD like the real deal, it can’t reach 1200 HP without NOS, and it doesn’t have the aero, but at least the spirit’s there. The S800 with the motorbike swap is pretty sweet, though it doesn’t handle as well without a rear wing as with the original engine. On the plus side, it allows me to make it more powerful for the 1 hour Alsace race given that a rear wing alone decreases performance points (despite helping with stability), but overall I’ve yet to find the perfect car for this event. Believe me, I’ve tried. Abarth 595 with the Civic engine is absolute cheese, and I love it. Sketchy as fuck to drive, but with a ballast bringing weight distribution to 50-50 and some tinkering with camber and rear toe-in later, and it absolutely DEMOLISHES the Alsace 1 hour endurance mission. Thank Christ. The GT500 swap on the NSX Type R ‘02 is crazy, but not for the same reasons as the ‘88 Silvia’s swap. It weighs 1,918 lbs/870 kg with the swap and max weight reduction, it maxes out at 838 HP, and for how fast the car can be, it’s very fuel efficient, especially without anti-lag. Probably going to be my choice of WTC800 car from now on. Me: I want a Le Mans hypercar! Mom: We have a Le Mans hypercar at home. The Le Mans hypercar at home: engine swapped NSX Type R ‘02 The Crown Athlete G with the SC350 swap is a godsend in terms of fuel efficiency, and with a little more tuning proved to be capable of winning the Deep Forest endurance race, what with a zero-stop race being reasonable with plenty of laps left and the tires still being relatively healthy. The 2015 Miata with the Corvette engine is fun as hell to run, especially with a wide body and max aero. It’s squirrely if you apply max throttle out of a corner, but once it gets going, there’s next to nothing stopping you. I’d consider this an alternative to the swapped TVR Tuscan for those not lucky enough to pick it up in the UCD. The 2000GT-R with the Super Silhouette swap is a lot of fun to drive, in my opinion, especially with the unmodded engine. Even without access to a diffuser, it still handles surprisingly well, probably because it weighs less than 900 kg/1,984 lbs with full weight reduction. The 2017 Alpine A110 with the Nismo GT-R swap (new as of 1.35) is honestly a treat to use given it’s lighter than the Nismo GT-R, has an extra gear, and produces more horsepower than it weighs in kg when maxed out. Shame I can’t add an aftermarket diffuser, which means that a random street car can potentially have more downforce than this hypercar-at-home. Polyphony pls
It sucks that many cars are locked to one engine swap, like 2jz and LS engines are super popular to swap in alot of cars, we should be able to do it here to!
Can confirm, that LT4 in the Tuscan is NUTS. Can also push a PP rating of !! with comfort tires, at full tune. And I got it before the Engine Swaps were purchasable.
HGS you are tha MAN! Ive been searching for a good bit now for anything that looks like some sorta list of which cars in GT7 gets the engine swap and also which cars get the wide body kit....and which cars do NOT get the engine swap or the kit. I mean, how do we know?? Is there somewhere in the game that tells us which ones get what engine?? You are the first one I've come across FINALLY that has actual common sense that somehow has been turned into words and sentences...those words and sentences explain what cars in GT7 get the engine swap!!! I haven't seen but a few minutes so far but I just wanted to jump in and tell you one thing really quick............You Sir are a Gentleman And A Scholar! Thank you for this video...much appreciated. Not to be greedy but do you go over the cars that get the widebody kit? or do we just put em on every car we come across?? ;)
Nice custom race setup at your first part of the video. Pity we cannot share those races. I have some for old cars, engine swapped cars, F40 959 and friends...

@@Mycroch While that’d probably be true for any other car, the Chaparral 2J isn’t “any other car.” It’s (to my knowledge) the only fan car in the entire game (Red Bull X2010, 2011, and 2014 fan cars when), and with all minimum LSD settings and a steering angle adapter, it corners extremely well. I can only imagine how OP it’d become with a Tomahawk swap. Unlike the Tomahawk X which requires you going moderately fast to corner well, the 2J corners well almost regardless of how fast you’re going. That said, I’d only really do it if you can get a second one. C’mon legendary dealership…

Absolutely. Maybe treat them the same as an engine swap, to where there’s only one option and can’t be swapped freely, and even then only include them if it either exists on a variant of the model (like FR for the not-GTR R34s), or is a reference to another build (like Mad Mike’s FR Mazda 3 when the original is AWD)

Yesterday I was thinking about this video and decided look at my crated engine supply. I had 2 of the 911 engines that swap into the VW Bug and Window Van from the early 60s. I did the swaps. You probably already know this but... The new engines get different tuning depending on which car you put them in. The Bug is now 305 hp , the Van 255 hp. I don't have 2 copies of another engine to compare in other cars. Anyway if you didn't already know, I thought you would like to.

2016 911 gt3 swap is terrible and slower than stock engine better to keep the original engine and tune it with special parts especially the highlift camshaft s and will make the engine scream more than 10k rpm

An addendum (thx for the heart btw)
The R34 w/ the R92CP engine is an absolute BEAST on the dirt, but at max power, I start to understand why the Escudo has so much turbo lag.
The Le Mans hypercar at home: engine swapped NSX Type R ‘02
The Crown Athlete G with the SC350 swap is a godsend in terms of fuel efficiency, and with a little more tuning proved to be capable of winning the Deep Forest endurance race, what with a zero-stop race being reasonable with plenty of laps left and the tires still being relatively healthy.
First thing I did this update was put the Hellcat engine in my Jeep. So much fun to drive
Thank you a lot for this video!! I didn't even know!! I'm definitely putting some big naturally aspirated V8's into some compact RWD chassis.
Can confirm, that LT4 in the Tuscan is NUTS. Can also push a PP rating of !! with comfort tires, at full tune. And I got it before the Engine Swaps were purchasable.
The R92CP is the most expensive @ CR 1,600,000.
Thank goodness for this update!
Not to be greedy but do you go over the cars that get the widebody kit? or do we just put em on every car we come across?? ;)
Lol cheers dude glad it helped out 😂 and no I haven’t done a Widebody list as yet
I wish they had the Suzuki swap for the M3 evolution as well
This is the video I’ve been looking for
Nice custom race setup at your first part of the video. Pity we cannot share those races. I have some for old cars, engine swapped cars, F40 959 and friends...
i’ve put the VRH35Z engine in R34 and for me is very nice combo. This engine have very nice power delivery and i prefer it instead of fully build RB
Your car liveries look so clean!
Haha cheers
And with the latest update physics, that Ford Focus is BUSTED with the LM engine.
I want an XJ220 engine for the Alphard, alaa Top Gear
I would love that too, also I would like if they added fully customizable cvt to adjust the rpm for higher top speed and acceleration.
Its really cool to finally have this feature, but I'm still pissed that it took well over a year
I have the mazda 3 swaped with the r26b and its a really fast car
I engined shaped the mini Cooper and it's a absolute monster
Escudco evo 6 could see forsure in future update
Wish they had more options for upgrades and swaps like GT5. Would love to swap a viper engine and put a turbo on it instead of supercharger. Hell i wish there was a game with every car in the world where you could swap almost any engine into anything. Got some other vehicles id like to drive in games but have never seen and probably never will.
AE86 with a BEAMS swap please for the love of god! haha
Thanks for the content
The video I've been waiting for🙏
I v8 swapped 3 of my Silvia’s and have no regrets at all.
The Alfa Romeo Gr3 road car is an amazing 700pp engine swap with loads of handling and power!
Thanks for this.... lots of cool options
I want to put a modern 1750 turbo benzina into the classic Giulia! Or the 3.0 or 3.2 Busso into the same car, though that could potentially get a bit nose heavy.
I used to watch your gran turismo 6 videos :)
You’re the best thank man
You can now also fit an Alpine A110 with the V6 from a GT-R
Featured in part two of the list 👍
Am I the only one who want a Quattro swapped Audi TTS or TT 3.2?
Tbe Radical deserves the Suzuki V8 swap. The mad a model of the radical with the Hyabusa V8 irl so would be cool to have in game as well via the engine swap
I’d love to see it too.
I’d also love to see a Hayabusa W-16 or even a V-12/V-16 design, for teh lulz.
Really need a chapparal 2j engine that you can fit in a gt40 to make the race car
Tomahawk X swap into the 2J 😆
@@HSGAutomotive I think the car would actually start flying 😅
@@Mycroch While that’d probably be true for any other car, the Chaparral 2J isn’t “any other car.”
It’s (to my knowledge) the only fan car in the entire game (Red Bull X2010, 2011, and 2014 fan cars when), and with all minimum LSD settings and a steering angle adapter, it corners extremely well.
Somebody here in usa has made a 1JZ(gte) swapped IS 300
I once won the escudo engine
Thanks alot, appreciate this. 👍
Ok since this is a thing, might we all agree we need drivetrain swaps aswell? 2wd to 4wd or 4wd to rd, fd to rd
Edit:
Transmission - - > Drivetrain
That would be a drivetrain swap in particular, and yeah I would 100% want them in GT, especially for rally builds
*imagines trying to drive a 'Busa midship oldschool Mini*
@@Leotheleprachaun Proto p2 race cars yup yup, much agree'd
@@HSGAutomotive yes drivetrains swaps. Has this engines swaps are half the project so, with the drivetrain packege has an option to buy aswell.
I edited my first comment so it says "drivetrain" instead of "transmissions".
Fugu z super silhouette swap is a god swap makes it unbeatable in the lemans 700pp race
Hey, I know that you're always trying to look for contents and I'm becoming a subscriber today and I'm going to like your videos from now on. I know that that's important and I don't always do it Well I have is an idea for some content and that is to do a video on the Sylvia's just a video on engine swaps for Sylvia's and then maybe a video on car setups with some of those engine swaps. Maybe highlight two or three. Maybe a drift build and a race build. I feel like those cars or maybe some of the older cars? I just recently did the engine swap for the 3.0 BMW 1973. You cannot add any ground graphics to this vehicle so there's no downforce. I feel like it's an amazing car it wants to go, but if you're interested in what I did to keep it on the road and more than happy to share it with you but that car in particular I feel like is a drift car. Haven't got around to setting it up yet, but thanks for your content. And I don't usually like watching videos because I feel like it's cheating. But in this case a mechanic would look at a catalog or parts. It just this does not feel like cheating. Maybe something else you could add to a video as clickbait. I hope you are making money. Go ahead and add me as a racer if you'd like. I think that you could also add in your videos if you want@ put your gamertag in there and then link your RUclips videos to your PlayStation account if possible. Sorry if this is already done or if it's even possible I don't know
Realtalk81
PlayStation gamertag
A louts swap in gt7 if louts comes back from links the Elise 111r for me that thing was op I remembere forsure
Escudo engine GTO? count me IN.
Great video !
Any chance you can do a video on which cars are eligible for ultra high rpm turbo/SC and other stuff in the ultimate tuning
I won't say no, but I don't have immediate plans for it. We'll see
i just hate how the new engine swap store is locked behind progression
its going to take a long ass time to even get up to level 50
It is an odd choice
I wish they had the VR38-DETT swap for the R32 Nismo
I’m going to do the e30 swap that would be fun
It's rapid and actually really easy to drive
I want a laferrari hybrid engine in the 250 gto just because of how forbidden that would be.
What about the rb26 in a 67' fastback mustang?
Ah! I see what you mean there. Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift vibes, nice!
So a skyline GTR engine R34 or R33 for say the Shelby GT350 ‘65? that does sound awesome
There also is the Porsche 911 RSR engine available for swaps, that goes into the 930 Turbo I believe
Yeah that's listed here
@@HSGAutomotive my bad dawg🫡
Keep up the great content!
Its all good, lol. Some of the motor titles make it easy to overlook in passing vs having the reference car there
Dope Vid
Not much engine swaps on supercars but not complaining too much
Am I the only one who’s noticed a glitch with the ultimate parts. Like for example my f40 maxed makes 912hp but if I remove the ultra high rpm turbo and add it back it only goes down to 850 with a noticeable speed loss although its using the same parts
No point doing engine swaps unless you use AWD cars since they dominate every lobby at different PPs
*looks at all my drift builds*
There's more to the game than just sport mode. Like, 80% of the playerbase doesn't even touch sport mode, we just cruise/battle/drift in custom lobbies.
Fuel economy? More power? Less weight sometimes?
Going even faster than the car the engine was from?
Am I the only one who wants to drop a W16 in the MP4/4?
LIFE F1!! Yasss
I got the R26B 2x in 6 start Roulette tickets for some reason I placed one in my RX8 and the other one is sitting around because I don’t know what else to do with it
What a Hellcat inside a 45 Jeep Willy ? insane.
I got that and wheel spins like mad, I was wheel spinning upto 150mph on route x race
So many engine swaps, so little credits
I wonder when the 5.0 Coyote engine swap for the ‘69 Mustang Boss be release?
Thanks
Cant wait to create more abominations
Hoping for the Vulcan engine to be an option for swapping lol
At least it would be more useful than the car itself, lol
You miss one SWAP . You can. SWAP Z4 engines to BMW M3 89.
You should have mentioned how many cilinders and cc these new engines are
Why.
The v12 supra swap is pointless. Why not just give the 2jz more power like in real life. Don't get me wrong the v12 makes the supra a beast it's fast as hell and still handles very well. I'm just a big 2jz fan, and want to see it done right. Great video
Yeah it’s not even a four figure output fully tuned which is quite hilarious
The a45 4cyl in MB sl gt
Can't Use this Feature Yet as I'm Not Level 50
Hope they Balance the Engine Swap Prices as from What I've Seen they are Overpriced
The price of the swap depends on the price of the car the Engine comes from.
2016 911 gt3 swap is terrible and slower than stock engine better to keep the original engine and tune it with special parts especially the highlift camshaft s and will make the engine scream more than 10k rpm
The escudo one is slower than stock in a gto
No rb26 engine swap how lame
There is no RUF Engine for the 911 Carrera RS 95
Is the Ford Roadster ever coming back?
A bike engine swap does sound like a downgrade indeed... Until you realize that it makes sense for a lightweight car, let's say 1 tonne or less, then it could make for interesting results.
Never said it was a downgrade, only the single bike engine option in the game. Bike swaps are great
The bike engine swap is only for a couple of kei cars. They only have a 650cc engine to start with. It's actually quite a popular swap people do in real life.
@@HSGAutomotive The Suzuki V8 is another bike engine too, well, technically it’s *two* bike engines.
It’s not far-fetched either, a V8 from two Hayabusa engines is what powers the Ariel Atom V8.
Pwease be Patient I got VTEC in Me Mini 😂
Rank the swaps!
What about ultimate parts? What parts to each car?
Now that's a big list, would better be a Wiki
I want the Porsche Carrera GT V10 to be an available engine. Not sure what it could go in though...
Clio V6, make a Clio F1 😂
@@HSGAutomotive I reckon the devs should make the 5.2 Voodoo into the RS500 cosworth a thing too...
@@martynwest2385 I think a Sierra swap will most likely become a thing in the future
Not sure a 2jz would fit in a Yaris without extensive modifications

I just want to K swap my GK5 Honda Fit 😪
how did you get the cars to not rotate to get the screenshots in the same angle?
Just screenshot at the same time every time xD
I would like a Tesla swapped BMW i3!
