I love that he’s such a kid! A lot of the teen superheroes are desperately trying to grow up as fast as possible, but Blue Beetle is consistently snarky and immature and often struggling with his powers. It’s refreshing.

He does mature a little. In the episode depicting Star girl at the beginning, it’s implied he becomes her mentor as bats had been Jaime’s. It was a good way to end his character arc before the cancelation.
