I agree with her. I had even earlier Fujifilm bodies and several lenses including the 56mm 1.2 and the build quality was absolute garbage and the images were so substandard that it was ridiculous. I pitted my best Fuji camera (XE1) and 56mm 1.2 versus my worst Pentax camera a K-R (12mp) with 18-135 and the images and the images were miles better on the Pentax. There is something very very wrong at the core of the Fuji X series of cameras and thats the X-trans sensor is absolute trash that the RAW image has to de-mosaic into something thats heavily sharpened - its THE most digital image quality you can get, its far from organic looking. X-trans is just a con. Even the film simulation do not compare well next to the actual film prints. I've tried younger models of Fuji camera too and perhaps they've improved, but I sold off all my fuji gear as it was a dead end, and put that money to a full frame Pentax K-1 which is a million miles better than my fuji gear. There's no full frame upgrade path in Fuji, just GFX which is out of reach for most.
580 shots on a battery charge from 400 shots is NOT a big improvement. Most mirrorless cameras suffer from battery issues but 180 shot improvement is nothing to be proud of. AF has always been Fujis Kryptonite no mater how you cut it. All these Excuses is what is wrong with RUclips. I divorced Fuji five years ago because in that time all I saw was disappointment. I am still friends with the first three X-Trans series of cameras for their much better unique IQ, in fact I still use my X=Pro 2 and X-E1 for my creative work. I shoot mainly FF now and it DOES make a difference. APS-C is NOT the same. Close but not the same. Side by side comparisons I have done with both formats do show why FF is better across the board.
Thanks for the comment , i suppose its purely a matter of opinion and we can go back and forth on whether the battery life is greatly improved or not, for me it obviously is and for some others not , it has taken me quite a bit of time to get use to Fujifilm and what they offer as a brand alone , and while their autofocus is way behind its competitors i do appreciatevthe package as a whole and at the same time im happy that people are waking up and speaking about their issues that needs to be adressed, having said that Fujifilm is not for everyone.
@@MoTecZA I guess my "opinion" comes from using SLR/DSLRs for 45 years and never worrying about battery life during a day's shoot. Same with AF where contrast detect 3D tracking hardly ever failed me. I loved fuji for the first six years of using them and dealt with those issues but after a while being spoiled with DSLR performance I couldn't take it anymore and demoted the rank of where fuji stands in my image making process. No longer can I rely on them on a paying job.
Neither am I ...I've made a lot money and joy from XT5..GFX ...it's Brilliant image quality. Colours. Fujifilms colours are and unmatched by any other brand. I also watched that video end thought that she was very negative and she didn't come up with any solutions. My photography business really took off after switching to Fujifilm. Skin tones are beautiful too. Autofocus is getting better with latest firmwares on XH2 XH2s ...
@@nevvanclarke9225 I didn’t mention the reviewer by channel , those that watched it would have known like yourself, I don’t see myself changing systems, infact even with the autofocus woes it never ever crossed my mind , I’ve just updated my XH2 and tomorrow will be day one of a mini Flood documentary that hit our town with the new firmware , thanks for the comment and all the best!
What are your thoughts on these points are they Valid?
