On every one of these opening/closing credits montages I've seen, everyone always leaves off the one actress who was a regular for about a season or a season and a half, and made the most memorable exit from the cast of anyone. Diana Muldaur played Leland McKenzie's love interest, attorney Rosalyn Shays. She was written out of the cast when her character took a fall down the elevator shaft in an unforgettable scene. ruclips.net/video/Mj8FIbuoWPY/видео.html
I can easily say that no drama show has come close to beating LA LAW for script quality, Acting and realism after all thease years, Only the first season of MURDER ONE has come close and that was anther STEVEN BOCHO production, John spencer R.I.P
Are you referring to the episode from the original Fugitive, "May God Have Mercy"? I don't recall him being in that, nor do I recall a judge in that episode. Dysart DID appear in a Defenders episode way back then.
This WAS my fave show in high school until that season when half the firm revolted and half the cast left and the replacement cast really sucked, then it really went in the dumper after that. Too many changes too fast and I never took to the new cast. Shame.
I liked the new cast. Some of them were really good like C.J. and Susan Bloom for instance. However, the only season I didn't like so much was the final season 8. It wasn't the same anymore but I watched it anyways since I knew it would be the final season.

He was ALWAYS billed last in the credits...'and Richard Dysart'.
Fantastic!!! I love it! The gang's all here!
thanks for this! I miss this show!
I have to say, LA Law is way better than all 3 Law & Order.
I miss John Spencer :(
Today is 28 years airing last episode on nbc thursday may 19 th,1994
Of course Richard Dysart had to be the last person mentioned in this video.
He Played a Judge on The Fugitive. May God Have Mercy On Your Soul!

A Martinez also appeared twice on the show.
Once as a prisoner about to die, then later joined the cast in a later season as a Lawyer.
He was in She Devil too as the butler.
He was in the last two seasons of LA Law.
She was also in the Sean Connery/Wesley Snipes movie "Rising Sun", which I recommend seeing.
He was also in the Christian Slater/Morgan Freeman movie "Hard Rain", but he's sporting an Amish-type beard in that one.
he also played a barbed wire salesman in Back to the Future Part III
@KryptonSlim Diana Muldaur came from Star Trek The Original Series as well - Take a look at the episode "Is There in Truth No Beauty"...
Amen !
