It’s not just campfire! I’ve been having some problems where I click on an item, a mon, etc. Then it’ll glitch out and not respond to any command. Then you’ll have to close out the game and reboot it. Happens on pvp as well with no compensation after. Seems like they’ve been having networking issues like crazy. It’s honestly such a buzz kill
Anyone else notice that the D-Max radar is completely useless? If you are trying to find a specific raid you cant use campfire, it's telling me that there are several Articuno in my local area but then i go to raid and its a cryagonal. Why do they even have this useless feature?
My problem with campfire is message restictions. During max articuno I sent a message with gym location saying need one more. The message was rejected as if i said something offensive.
They gotta have a way to kick you out of every group you're part of so you can start fresh. If they were able to restore Fleece's account, don't see why couldn't they do something like this.
One campfire issue I had was organizing a route for dynamax monday. On campfire it showed 3 active dens in an area. When there was 5+ in the area. It’s hard organizing when we don’t even know what’s even accurate

We experience constant errors when looking for dmax battles on the map. Battles on CF are not in the game, some battles in the game are not in CF or show a different pokemon on CF.

They could also fix that the app always forces me to the current event meetups on startup. Even if I choose to not get forced popups for the current event, it still forces me for the current meetups regardless. And I can only choose for the current event. I want to turn this off forever. Not just for the current event.
I despise how it opens to announcements instead of directly to the map. When I open it 99.99% of the time i want the map. I don't want to close out one or two other pop up screens. It loads slowly as it is.

I guess I will need to wait until later in the month to select the day I was born. Did someone extend the year logic to the day of the month?

hi Brandon, i would suggest making a discord community, it's very popular and also can facilitate meet ups, of course it doesn't have in game functions but it can act as a back up or community connection, i mean only if Campfire is not fixed soon❤
I constantly create meetups and I hadn't been able to see the map or other meetups, I deleted and installed back and it seems it fixed the problem. Niantic seriously has to pay attention to their stuff, I constantly call the out bc pogo is full of bugs and errors and the player community is really having a hard time. They just don't care.
I have 350+ friends and when I go on campfire I only have maybe 20-30 people that have a campfire account. They should spend some time revamping campfire and making it more accessible. Also there should be a way to invite players to campfire within Pokemon go so we can bring more individual local players to our communities in their area. There are a ton of players in my small town that don’t have a campfire account that we can’t get to our discord or campfire to events like raid days, and the whole day their inviting me to raids across town from our raid group.

I've reported it several times, but every time I get the same answer "...we have no records of you finishing the raid... Bla bla bla". If they don't fix their bugs, they should at least fix their logging capabilities. Essentially telling the customer they are lying, is straight out ignorant, inconsiderate and rude. Their customer service is a joke and they completely ignore and don't care about their customers. One of the most famous players in the world going to RUclips to reach customer service, says quite a bit about their customer service policy. Only thing Niantic seems to focus on, is launching new features (like the mushroom) they earn more money of. The games are so addictive, their customers (you and me) keeps playing despite of all the bugs. That's why they ignore us, and just care about earnings. Horrible way of treating their customers.
Just an idea: If you have been using an Android for Campfire and this issue persists, then maybe try installing Campfire on an iOS device and logging in there. I don't know if this will solve the problem. Hopefully, Niantic resolves this super soon. Good luck!
Low key quit the game since I've been unable to play this game ever since I switched my phone to Galaxy S24 Ultra over a year ago. At this point, they just don't wanna fix the app. Campfire hasn't been the least of my problems with this game lmao
He said that people have seen the retry message. But he's a unique case in that he's joined every group in every area he's traveled, so he's probably at some theoretical limit with all the notifs and updates he gets from all the groups he's part of
The easiest way to mitigate this would have been to enforce a limit on the number of groups you can join at once, seems like a pretty big oversight from design/engineering/QA to me, for example in Discord the limit is 100. This would literally be the first thing I would ask/try as a tester. If I can join/create x groups I want to see what happens when I join/create x+1.

With each new comment on the chat you would have to click through at least 4 screens for each post. Although the app and chat was already open. The chat didn't update in realtime. Vital when coordinating a raid or max battle.
dynamax articuno was a disaster, my bro and I drove to my group’s meetup and we couldn’t coordinate to save our lives as we were all inside cars in a mall parking lot and nobody could enter articuno battles. they better get it together for zapdos because this was horrid

That's because they're not Gmax, they are dmax (kanto legendary birds don't have a gmax form). Since it's only one team of upto four trainers per lobby, yes everyone will need to have proper mons. Again, this is not a raid with upto 20 others, people can't expect to get carried in these battles

The community in SG won't grow. Simply because the game is really getting boring. nobody cares about dynamax gigantamax etc. I also don't care about it. I'll only be interested if niantic gives us a way to change our pokemon IVs to 100% so my first charmander in the game can be 100% IV.
Niantic is pure disappointment. Campfire is useless where players don't often use them as communication/messenger. What worst, spoofer is every where you go. Report doesn't work as well because they can't detect spoofing apps.
If they would have implemented campfire into the Pokémon go app there would be no issue. But they chose to make a separate app for some odd reason and now it’s slowly killing Pokémon Go along with other things like the constant bugs in pvp and there seeming to be no end to faulty game play and overpriced events.

On shadow raid day, there were 61 people in que, and I hosted a raid. I waited 10 minutes, and no one joined

Have you tried to fulled uninstall the app and then reinstall the app? Hopefully everything works out.
