Pro tip: Get there early and drop a magnetic lure module or two, and also mega evolve a Rayquaza, for candies for Ralts, Dialga raids if available, and Rookidee from the magnetic lure modules.

One huge revelation I've learned about the game: now with the D-max/G-max feature I've realized the importance of grinding for candy and XL candy. I would usually grind enough to fully evolve a high IV pokemon and then get enough to power it up fully but now I'm realizing that it's still not enough.

@@muxmastermann666 no paywall, but definitely a grindwall. It's cool that you can do one maybe two (big) dynanax raid a day for free.. but they take way too much time. Upgrading Max Moves also costs way too much with regards to XL candy. You tell me what value a Gmax Kingler is going to have, unless you're willing to give Niantic even more of your time. Niantic basically delegitimized a lot of players with this. You got shiny Kingler? Great, but you don't have shiny Gmax Kingler yet! Better invest your time into building up Dmax/Gmax pokémon because we are not going to allow you to use your already strong Grass/Electric-types for this type of battles! That's the trap. If you want anything remotely interesting, you-'re required to have started from scratch again..
In Australia it’s middle of summer but we’ve been getting hammered with heavy storms and most days are too windy even tho it’s hot and you can’t focus on catching
I played when Ralts Com Day happened the first time (actually have fond memories from that day because I travelled to a different city to meet a friend AND caught a shiny Bulbasaur too). Got only 3 shinies. So I'm ready to get some more with better IVs.

When I made my original Pokémon go account, it was in the original ralts community day, this is very nostalgic for me Edit: funny thing is on the original day I caught a male and female shiny, I evolved the male into a gardiviour. Don’t worry, I didn’t make that mistake again today and caught more than 2 . Also I don’t think legacy moves existed back then, I have a torterra from OG turtwig day with frenzy plant while my com day gardivour knows shadow balls as charged
Another great way to get a high iv /high iv shiny is to hold on and trade as many Ralts and shiny Ralts during the Lunar New Year with increased lucky odds during trades.
Hidden tips. If you wanna get more lucky ralts, keep it until lunar New Year event as higher chance to get lucky mons from trade, and if you want to get legacy move for both gallade and gardevior. Get it on Dec CD racap❤. 😅😅😅

I already have a hundo Gallade and since I'm also trying to reach max mega on it, I hope I can get it, especially if it's a shiny and a hundo. Catch assist is only good for level 50 players who don't need XP. It is terrible for lower level players who aim for excellent throws. If you are under level 50 and aim for excellent throws, better to ignore his advice and choose a buddy without catch assist or be ready to back out of the throw back as soon as it bounces to have another chance at an excellent throw. Because the excellent bounce back rate is lower if you are fairly accurate at throwing.

Wouldn’t Ralts in 1 Star Shadow Raids have 1/25 Shiny Rates as well? On the last community day in December when Beldum was 1/25 from 2-5pm, I battled the rocket leader w/ Beldum and ended up getting a shiny, but it was after 5 at around 7pm.. maybe I just lucky but I wondered if the shiny odds stayed through the night since there was day 2 of the event the next day
have to be in person also as long as you can learn the legacy move still shiny rate still boosted 1/25 still harder to get shiny from legendary raids which is 1/20

And since rats is a fairy/psychic type we should use the mega pokemon who share those types. If it's a female you're stuck with gardevoir, but if it's a male ralts it can evolve into gardevoir or gallade...your choice

Ok so If I understand correctly a mega boots the amount of candies you get by catching the pokemon who share the typing with said mega.
And since rats is a fairy/psychic type we should use the mega pokemon who share those types.
So why are we using Mega ray since the green snake is a Dragon/fairy type
