I think Gamecube is most balanced hardware of that console generation. While Xbox is pushing resolution and image quality to boundaries the frame rate is often not so stable. PS2 however have worst image quality and cant hold 30 fps. And Gamecube is in the middle of it: good resolution and texture quality and higher and most stable frame rate.

You have to be in a pixel-perfect spot AND have to be facing the direction it takes you in order to actually get them to work. The invention screen is also very clunky and slow. It's kinda like they didn't have a sense of flexibility with this game's development... most moves you make have to be precise. And don't get me started on the transit challenges using touchscreen controls... I fucking hated those. Honestly thinking the GBA version is better with controls while the DS version has slightly better graphics. I think I've only managed to pass one of those. Soundtrack is kickass, I love it. Ian Stocker is a great composer. Also, I like the gallery... it has some references to what seem like deleted or early scenes, like the pigeon lady with rodney in the transit ball. More people should check out the DS version since it doesn't seem to get a lot of attention (kinda see why) but it's kinda fun to play. Overall a clunky experience but fun to play if you have time to kill. I loved the movie as a kid. I haven't really played the home console versions a whole lot, I did play some parts of the GCN version but I did not finish it.
I remember a family friend gave me their GameCube, and this was one of the games that came with it. I still remember when I got stuck at the area with all the fans blowing, I was 4 or 5 at the time. Unfortunately I had to give that copy back. Got rid of the GameCube, and never saw that copy again..oh well
Are you sure this is backwards capable with Xbox 360? I’ve tested copies twice on the Xbox 360, and it hasn’t worked. It says the game is not compatible

See the character animations of the entire body while stationary and playing, today developers just stopped doing that like in dead space remake Isaac moves and reacts so stiffly and his gun handling is absolute trash.

Very impressive for being a movie license game and sixth gen hardware. The backgrounds and characters almost had the detail from the movie.

After homebrewing an Xbox 360, you can remove the backcompat whitelist so the console will try to run every Xbox game (with mixed results).

At 0:27 it says "Backwards compatibility" in the top left. There is no Xbox 360 specific version of Robots to my knowledge.
