Welcome to my first video using BeyondATC, I only had one test flight with BATC before recording this one, so it's quite like a first impression. For some reason BATC does not recognise me using registration instead of a callsign, so HA-LMN became Hawaiian MN. Otherwise my only gripe is that it does not understand a request to do a different approach as it gives, but BeyondATC is really in early access, so I guess that will change.
So far BATC of course does not trump vatsim, but of course if ATC could be automated, then quite a lot of highly skilled professionals would be looking for a job. So I do not expect it to fully replace manned stations. However I intentionally chose a route currently unmanned in Vatsim, so in that regards BATC is a winner hands down. I really am looking forward to its improvements, but I'm quite impressed by how it is even right now. Good job BATC team!
With that I'm not going to give up flying on vatsim, given if there is a good enough coverage, but for every other scenario BeyondATC it is.
