His Dad Jeff was MOP of the 1998 Championship & was also a player on the 96 Championship. He is a Financial advisor & plenty smart. His mom Stacey holds many records at Kentucky herself that still stand today. Reed was much better than expected this year at UK! He makes everyone on the team better. He also plays better when he is surrounded by better teammates. He will be a fan favorite & I believe a future All Star selection!
My heart is so full watching Reed, Stacey and Jeff. I have loved this family for years (including sister Madison and grandparents, Lola and Mike). They are truly Godly people with a heart to serve. I pray for nothing but the best for precious Reed.
Jeff made sure Reed was great at the little fundamental things when he taught him basketball as a youth. Left layups, left hand dribbling, perfect jimmy Chitwood chest passes, that kinda stuff. Jeff was a great college 2 guard with even better hops than Reed but he couldnt go left or run the point like Reed. And Jeff aint exaggerating when he says he inherited his mom's skillset more than his.
I love the entire family’s humbleness and their readiness to be involved in the community here. That being said, I’m super excited to watch them play this year. I think they’ll be one of the most exciting teams to watch. Let’s go Rockets!!!🚀🚀🚀
Y'all are so lucky to get this family, not just Reed. I know I'll be watching A LOT of Rockets games and I never watch NBA outside of good playoff matchups anymore, even with all the Kentucky players I love in the league.
@@rocketsfan6116 Yeah overall it's very irrelevant. Gotta love the vegans of the religious world, the atheists, going out of their way to tell everyone they're atheists. Meanwhile everyone else is focusing on the basketball answers.

"Hasn't even made his first turnover yet."
Holy shit. This kid was raised to work his ass off you can just tell.

Those answers are too good 🤔
2:17 listen to the answer and tell me that doesn’t remind you of CJ Stroud’s background in handling pressure 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Reed’s dad sounds like bill clinton 😅
Dad sounds like Bill Clinton

I did not. Have contractual obligations. With that woman.
@@joepermenter7228 😆😆😆😆
Reeds dad is like Bill Clinton's little brother or something lol
Went to Franks Grill today hahaha. Best bang for your buck breakfast
That’s cool that he compared his game to his moms. And didn’t pick some HOF guard
Reminds me a lot of Mark Price.
“She got her hands on all types of …..” lol my bad I couldn’t resist
😂
His dad is a handsome man I must say.
Why does Reed Sheepard dad speak like Cliton.
Kentucky and Arkansas are pretty close. Regional accent.
@@JoeGalvanATX Jeff is from Georgia, so it's a mixture of the 3.
@@JoeGalvanATX As other dude said his dad has a Georgia accent.
Jeff's from Georgia before comin to KY and Stacy str8 KY
Yeah, his mom does seem like the smarter one 😅😂😜🤪
Charles Barkley…😅. No mention of the greatest Rocket of all time, Hakeem. Wow…
How often is Hakeem on Cable? Charles? That's all it means. She'll know Hakeem very well soon, I promise, cuz He heard Charles mentioned too! Lol😢
Someone should let Mr. Sheppard know that he has his wife created Reed, not some magic, immoral, invisible friend.
You need a seed to create a human. While you try so hard to correct the guy about his beliefs remember that the father is just as important.
@@vaudou_ Yes, seed... aka his sperm. No magic deity necessary...hence my point.
