I think major problem with W build is lv 16 talent, since you either get the W 50% cd reduction but tou have to give up on % dmg on AA and most of the time its a bad trade lol.
"W build" is basically just a safer AA build. You only pick a W talent at lvl1 and 4. Not to mention your lvl1 W talent actually increases your AA damage by making you reach/keep 10 passive stacks faster/easier.
Absolutely. Creed is insane if you're good at stutterstepping. Q build has crazy burst. W build isn't bad but you're usually not able to stack it enough to make it worth taking over the other 2.

Manticore and aa range at 20 are also just flat busted so often.
With w build it gives stupid single target to follow the aoe chunk.
The only time W build is great is ARAM, because you can perpetually hit all 5 enemies pretty much on cooldown.

This map, tomb, braxis are probably the best maps for w build too.
W build is map specific and that is a very good map for it.
