I bought the yellow one in March along with the metal upgrade kit (without the wheels), the metal gear set, the stronger Surpass servo, and the 370 motor plate in a spring sale for just over £40 delivered. I paid another £7 for a WPL 370 motor with a longer shaft. I had no issues fitting any of it but I did add a bit more grease to the diffs first. I use the wheels and 67mm V1 soft tyres with WPL metal weights from my WPL C24-1 on it and I find it's nice and planted now with the extra low down weight. I still use the stock electronics and feel it runs smoother with the 370 motor, especially in low speed. So in my case I feel like I have a better RC with the upgrades which cost me under £50 inc the RC. I found this a very interesting video and enjoyed watching it. Thank you 🙂👍🏼👍🏼
Yeh totally agree! I spent £50 on upgrades and either then didn’t fit properly or break . The tyres and wheels certainly added weight . Thanks for watching
Great video! I have the same verdict from watching that👍Also, it's helped me decide to have some fun with mine stock (naturally!) then just upgrade the electronics so I can have it waterproof and use it for what I have in mind 😁 Keep up the good work. Again, great video this 👌
Before updating car try to add some gramm of weight in cabin. This trick make a car glued to the groynd d3pend of gramms and basic suspension working better.
i have the mn128 and ordered metal steering bar and bearings but didn't change them yet. fitted oil shocks with stock springs and changed esc for a 1060 which made a huge diiference on slow speed control and removed the annoying sound of stock esc. The stock one performance wasn't bad at all but the noise was a no go for me
@@RcScaleTales yes but even with a mn128 lights module for dumbo rc transmitter i lost stock lights but installed aftermarket front and rear lights (lost reverse and indicators). Also, you have to install new esc and transmitter at the right spots in the chassis because its tight with the harbody screwed there
I have just bought the yellow one and found yr video. Mn82 and c24-1, i picked mn82. I think can upgrade the brushless motor then have some mod with the 2nd servo on the real wheels.
Upgraded metal one sucks. It rattles itself to pieces constantly. Needs constant re tightening and if you over tighten the bolts break so easily. Wasn’t of money. I have the silver Pro model coming so keen to see how that goes.
Yes I agree, if I had picked my own upgrades. Then yes I think it would of been a better experience the factory bought ones were not and I would not recommend
If you buy one wanting a super fine tune crawler it ain't it.... If you are looking for a trail truck that needs to hop over sticks n stones on it's way it's perfect.

That’s great , yeh may follow your lead sounds good ! Thanks for watching
Hey man can I ask what wheels did you use? Did you use stock wheels or no? Thanks
I just got a pair of these to run with my buddy. Other than wheels and tires, I think they are perfect as is.

Totally agree! I’m tempted with pro but I think only difference over stock is full lighting control
nice video👍👍💯💯
Cheers
Thank you
Is this truck worth it? I’m thinking if buying one, should I? Great video
Yes I would recommend it though I wouldn’t worry to much about upgrading it . It’s a nice truck at the price it is . Thanks for watching
@@RcScaleTales ok thanks mate, all good
You think the fayee crawler tires would rub the inside?
No neither the stock or hop up tyres rubbed on the inside. Thanks for watching
Do you know the size of Stock suspension?
It’s about 45mm
Depends on the upgrades
Yes I agree, if I had picked my own upgrades. Then yes I think it would of been a better experience the factory bought ones were not and I would not recommend
Does it have proportional steering ?
Yes it does , thanks for watching
Fare enought 😊
Thanks for watching
Just got one. The stock tire too tiny....
Yeh I agree, but don’t waste money on upgrading . Thanks for watching
Get same size or you'll be cutting the wheel guards
купил себе такую!
