I watched your latest video and wanted to tell you that the little figurines including the ornaments are in fact precious moments and are of value. The little bugs sit on the edge of flower pots. I an older lady than Grandma Ventures and recognize some of the items you get. Hope you don't mind me letting you about them.
hi. i love your family grandma adventures i love you you have great. sense of humor i love your. videos you make me laugh. hi. ashley. tell your boys hi keep up the great work
That first box...holy cow! I can see already this comment is going to be a book! lol This message is mostly for Denise btw. The package that said other peoples artwork are swapped technique pieces. I have done several of those swaps, they're fun and you learn a lot. Basically larger ATCs. That card with the actress is Audry Hepburn... The paper towels are for decoupageing onto card stock. I keep a few from pretty rolls, and fancy napkins too. I buy them everywhere I can. Acid free means photo safe. The natural acids in wood pulp is what they mean. If the paper is acid free it also lasts much longer. It doesn't get soft and pulpy like regular paper. Mary Englbreit...Wow...that is a ton of money in that box there...she also has a fabric line btw, but I don't think she has an actual fashion line. Maybe t shirts and stuff though. Not sure about that. She's a bit too cutesy for me though. :) The white muslin...the color transferred from something onto it. It will likely wash out. I love old cotton muslin. I rip it up for ribbons and patches for book making. Also the box with the used wrapping paper and fancy tissue papers...You can wrap everything I buy in 3 layers of fancy tissue or wrapping paper! I keep all that and decoupage it onto artwork...usually as a background layer. Oh h*ll yeah! The "oil towels" probably had ink and paint on them. I'm pretty sure they were laundered before they were packed. lol Mason is the style of the canning jars...Ball and Kerr are 2 companies that make them. There's absolutely no shame in not knowing things like that. PMI=Precious Moments Inc. I'm sure the one that says the Phillipines is a knockoff. It's sad, but they were common in PM and Hummels. That German thermometer piece is OLD...and just gorgeous! I remember one something like that at my grandparents when I was little! The big egg looks like jade? Have it appraised. The smaller ones are glass I think. I would have them appraised too. The tiny owls are likely molded styrofoam with bark pieces as wings. I will think on that. The 'casualties' in the box may very well have been casualties before they were packed...it may be they were bits she intended to repair, but ran out of time. Does Atlas even make bottles anymore? I haven't seen one in years! The cruets for salad dressing are pretty old too. I haven't seen that shape in a long time. The measuring mark for the oil is molded in...very nice! Wow...excellent box day! I will be so sad when they are all gone!
My family and people we knew always saved wrapping paper. Depression era folks and the first generation after that often saved anything they could put to use later. After gifts were opened we pressed the paper out with our hands and carefully put it away to be reused as many times as possible. Some types of paper can be ironed and look almost new. 👵🏻
The ornaments are Precious Moments but the ceramic figurines of the little kids are Betsy Clark who was a creator and designer for Hallmark for many years, her figurines do get mistaken for Precious Moments as there is a strong resemblance between the two. Precious Moments was the creation of two ladies Gloria and Pat. Ms Gloria passed away a few years ago but you can find Ms Pat Carson active on her Facebook Page. Loved todays video..... you two always make me smile and laugh....its always so awesome to see the fun that you guys have every day..... cant wait till tomorrow for the next video.....
Hi sweet family. All kinds of everything. Very nice and different and the stamps are amazing..you are such a fun team. Good luck with your sale. Those little figurines out of ceramics are from the Precious Moments Collection. I went to the gallery where they manufacture these amazing treasures. But I’m afraid it has been shut down but I m not sure. If so I’m sure a lot of the items are of great value. The factory and showroom was in Calgary, Missouri. I went there three times to Precious Moments .... keep safe, Margaret n Iceland
Hi guys !!!! Lots of neat stuff !!! Those stamps are amazing !! An the stationary 🤗 awesome !!! Lots of fun laughter today !!! You guys are the best ...if I could walk, I,d be doing what you guys are doing, but only on a small scale !! Lol...take care, God Bless You All ..love you guys !!!!
Hi Wade and Grandma, I hope the whole family is doing well. Betsy Clark was very popular in the 70's and the ones marked PMI are Precious Moments Inc. also very popular in the 80's; but they are timeless. Hallmark still sells Precious Moments and they are not cheap. I think the bigger eggs are stones, I am not sure about the other ones. I hope this info helps you. I think Mo Isaacs will be waiting for the stamps to go for auction and won't let Gary grab any ... lol. I talked to my sister today and was telling her how popular the RUclips auctions are becoming and next time you have an auction, I will send her the link so that she can watch it. She seemed very intrigued about it. Have a nice holiday weekend and stay safe and healthy. Blessings to you all.
Hi,they are precious moments ornaments. I gotta say.I love watching your videos. And you do buy the best units.Your instincts are spot on. Keep up the good work. 😄
Mary Englebrite was very popular in the 90s. No clothing line, but anything related to stationery, paper craft, calendars, etc, she was right there. The stein has German flags on it and what look like flags from Krakow, Poland (?). Some sold comps on E-bay, but not identical, and those went for about $15. I just did some interesting reading....Mason jars are the type of jar, glass with seals as lids. Ball and Kerr are separate companies, but they are owned by the same parent company and their products look the same and are interchangeable. That's the RD version. The ornaments are Precious Moments. The thermometer said, "Western Germany", so it had to be made prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1991. This unit never ceases to amaze me.
Hi guys the jars are great for putting shells and lights in thats what I do the eggs are collectable in The UK one is made of marble the others are blowen sand glass as fare as i no.xx
I love the bugs, I think Grandma is right about them being for plant pots. I have to admit though that the eggs are my favourites, I have always wanted one but they have always been too expensive for my purse sadly, I saw one a long time ago now that was white and cream In different shades it was gorgeous. The little people with the strange noses are cute, but I think the broken ones can be glued together again after all they are very cute lol. I should have been asleep an hour ago but I couldn't miss your video, I have lovely dreams after watching you all, you make me laugh and relaxed bless you all. Take care and stay safe please my friends, love and hugs to you all Mary-Ellen UK
When I was little Santa brought me a train set. My Grandpa put it together for me. I don't remember being able to,play with it. He did though. Maybe you should keep that for your boys, They will have fun watching you play with it. 😃
God bless you and your family and another great video and thanks for sharing and keep them great videos coming and I send you and your love ones lots of blessings always
I used large washers to display the eggs to sell. Kept them from becoming chipped. The moose is a shelf sitter or door sitter. Display above doors. I used poster putty to secure them.
I have been dying to see what is in the plastic containers behind Grandma V - the ones that are opaque on the bottom and have a white lid. I used to keep wrapping paper in containers like that and would LOVE to see what kind of wrapping paper these guys would have bought!!
For a long time now, I have thought Grandma Ventures have very similar tastes. I am 10 yrs older. Now I know. I have always thought having a stationary store would be great. Together, we would need warehouse size store! 😄😄😄
Hey guys. Those eggs look like Agate Marble Eggs. I believe you have a genuine green brown onyx stone egg found on eBay for $12.99. I also found vintage decorative marble alabaster eggs at $10.00 each on eBay. They are are all so beautiful. Love the colors. I have enjoyed all your videos. You have been so lucky. The owner has she passed away? I feel bad that I can’t buy any of your items in your auctions. I am disabled and no longer work. I’m here at every auction and I share each time to my fb. Hopefully it’s helped in bringing in some subscribers. We’ll see you on Saturday and Sunday to cheer you on guys. Lots of love and hugs from Texas.🌹🌺💕🙋🏻♀️
Mary Engelbreit Mikayla is a graphic artist and children's book illustrator. She became famous for creating greeting cards, paper dolls and dolls. Today she has a multi-million dollar company which sells all of her products.
The women from Canada wanted to scream as grandma venture was putting the plastic and paper back in the box.from bear stuff, there was a ore left in the box. Get it out, lol.I find your family so funny. I spend a lot of time laughing at your jokes. I bet your kids will have a great sense of humour.
Wow, opening #45 and still going strong. Cool stuff in every video, well except for the dirty socks and used toilet paper rolls.i lurk here everyday to watch the newest video. Thank you for bringing a little fun into every day.
The eggs are made of onyx or marble - highly polished. Back in the '70s, I bought a dozen of them in Germany and sent them to my mom. Unfortunately her grandchildren decided to hide them for Easter and the dog gathered and buried 'em. She was only able to retrieve five of them and the rest are somewhere still in the dirt.
Those may be the original cases for the camera’s and separating them would be a shame if so. Also in the “manly box” looked to me like you picked up a bag of buttons, was the first bag Wade picked out. No? Yes? Like those Ball jars in the next box. You may get a better price for the train items on Ebay, reach more people searching for just what you have. Also - love the eggs!

Even if the wipes aren’t that wet you can put a little water on the cloth, they will still have soap. I did that for some I had once.
