I don't know about everyone else, but I wouldn't mind if these videos were an hour! You're so good at the whole experience and I love seeing all the stuff!! Take your time - show it all! Keep up the awesome work on here - and on the podcast!
Always fun going treasure hunting. What a huge storage unit. That looked like it may be a salesmen’s case of straight razors. Very cool if it’s complete.
I’m sure someone mentioned this already but the ‘switchblades’ are actually straight razors. Research them by the names on the actual blade. I believe actual switchblades are illegal in most of not all states. If you never watched Blue Bus Dave he buys and sells lots of jewelry all the time...sells lots of on eBay. Also scraps precious metal including gold filled items. Check him out. Those tubs look exactly like the stuff he sells. Good luck John
John you got one hell of a deal on all those units. The stuff you are showing has much value and you must be feeling really good on the purchase. Thanks for sharing the great deal. You let us know they are out there to be got.
It is amazing what a difference someone like yourself with good organizational skills and excellent work ethic can make in a day. Keep up the good work i see $$$ for you all through this deal.
Just recently purchased a storage locker due to no yard sales/thrift stores. Mine was like 5x25 and it was wayyyyy too much work for the return. 6 loads to the dump with a truck and trailer. It was a hoarder unit but managed to triple my money off the initial $240. Good luck on your units, should make plenty over time.
Hi John I have watched all 3 of ur storage unit videos. And wow I'm so amazed how much stuff u got. And for the price u paid. I really hope u do so well once all is sold. My RUclips friends Bargain Barons would love ur vintage items. Just a shame they live far from u. Karen would love the fur coats and furniture. Keep up the hard work and keep safe. Thanku for the videos ❤️❤️
Watch making kit. When you go to replace the batteries put a little piece of scotch tape by the opening so that when you pry off the back you don't scratch the backing of the watch.
That would be so much fun to search through! - searching the jewelry for silver & gold - searching the comics, Pokémon, and baseball cards - looking through the knives and watches I wish I could find some Storage container sales!
That is a great score , what ever you have left after you keep for your Ebay store or Antique store you will do good having an auction company sell the rest
I love the cast iron and camping stuff! That jewelry will do awesome in lots. I’m sure you’ve already done that. Lol. AMAZING STUFF!!!! 💕 I’m so in awe!!!
This seems like it is the perfect opportunity for you to learn about things outside of your comfort zone. I wouldn't be in such a hurry to lot things together without doing some basic research in to them. Those straight razors (not switchblades) could be big money as well as some of the pocket knives. Quadraphonic 8 tracks are good money too. If I were you, I'd take 2 weeks to go through boxes a bit more selectively and learn as much as I could, but that's me. You definitely scored on this for sure. Congrats and Cheers!
The Coleman lantern in the red Coleman cooler is a good find. It may be a Coleman 243A. They sell good on Ebay. Or, you can just send it to me to take good care of for you. LOL
Haven't finished watching it yet, but that is one of the best units I have seen purchased. Love the vintage stuff. The item with the wooden handles, metal "flaps" you didn't know ID on from cast iron skillet box is a dough cutter for either ravioli or croissants in all likelihood, look up the brand on it, it will give you a clue. The switchblades look like straight razors to me...continuing on, will let you know if I see other "sleepers".
Good thing you found this before august. Sorting those in 100 heat would suck. You’re gonna have this stuff condensed down to one unit in 30 days at the rate you’re going. Insane find. You could live off this pile for 2 years if your chose to.
The "switchblades" sure look like old razors to me. Some of those are crazy money! I wish I could go to Cinci and list stuff for you 24/7. That would be fun. You are going to make a TON of money on this unit. I heard something drop when you picked up the Caddy model. You'll want to find that because having everything on the model that is supposed to be there has a HUGE impact on price. You've really been able to tighten that locker up. I bet you'll be able to drop at least one of the other lockers when you combine it into here, VERY soon. Be careful with the 8-tracks. Some of those are big money. the "sewing machine" is actually a serger...worth more than a sewing machine. I just looked and the pre-owned ones are selling up to $160 (sold comps). A new one would possibly be over $200.
Hi, a prop house would like the Bissel sweeper and hairdryer. That case isn't full of switchblades, they're shaving blades. One way too tell is the finger rest on the end. People do collect old barbering tools, or again prop house.
Gonna be a ton of work hopefully you make a ton off it !! I just bought a locket of what everyone through was just empty old boxes , got it for 150 bucks and ended up finding 137 pairs of limited Jordan’s !! Love storage lockers !!
I'm your glass guy! The red piece you showed was made by Fenton. Its pattern was simply called swirl and the color is cranberry opalescent. It has good resale value if you know what you have and how to properly identify and list it.
John - 2 things 1) Hire a part time guy for a few weeks. Have them help with sorting and 2) Have people send you messages on what they want as you are filming. You can have them tell the time in the video and the item. its like a virtual garage sale. you will do great doing this you may even find many people want the same item so decide on first come first server, best offer in 24 hours... etc. you can do a direct buy via message / email or private listing on eBay as you have 5000 free right now and the eBay sale would afford some protection. BUT again that is "time". Have people message and make offers... KILLER BUY - you will do so well with this. Congratulations I am jealous!
John, Interested in the fishing reels you have from the storage locker. esp the Penn 705 reel and see what you have for bait casters?? Hope to hear from you!
WOW! What a great variety and soooooo much stuff!!!!! I think you probably got the best end if this stick, grest buy! All that jewelry, i love going through jewelry bags/jars, i would be in heaven!! Let me know if you dont want to deal with it, I'll take it!!!😊
The thing after the cast iron is a pastry cutter, probably for maple bars and chocolate bars. Might be $100 or more. I think the brand is Houpt. That Spock album might be $25 if it’s in nice shape. Cast iron looks recent. Some 8-tracks DO have value, but those look iffy.
Hey John, since he’s got tags from Ohio Valley antique Mall in there, maybe ask him if there’s anything left at the mall. Or did he already pull everything out of his booth? They are opening on May 12th again so you’ll have access.
Hey John, local Cincy reseller here I will be watching your website . I personally collect Schoenling and Hudy beer stuff let me know if you find anything .
I love that the first video I see when opening RUclips is yours, and at that has straight razors! This buy was a good one. I’d love to purchase them if you plan on selling. Would look rad a in my shop. Keep pumping these 🔥 videos!
Hi John, I see that in your units there is a lot of jewelry. If you find Sherman (Gustave) Costume Jewelry or Sherman Jewelry storage box please let me know it might be of interest to me. Thank you very much John for your videos which are really interesting and entertaining but even more appreciated during this hard period of pandemic. Thank you !
There are some jewelry jar channels on RUclips that might be interested in those bags! They were buying jewelry jars from goodwill and unboxing them on here....with the virus they have run out. Might be worth connecting
I need to snag a watch, jewelry, or music lot for my Depop & ebay. I could also use some knives & belt buckles. When do you usually post lots on your website??
That metal art piece with leaves looks like vintage 70s from a famous artist... look for black marker signature on one of the oak leaves and then do sold comps... worth about 100$ or more based on size. Good score on the 4K. You’re busy for the next few months for sure😳
I like how calm he is, I'd be surprised for most of the things he found...
Yeah, I was waiting for some expletives to come out!
$1,310 worth of stuff already sold and mountains more left to go through. I think you did very well John! Congrats. Love the videos!
Not to get lost in the video is John's top-notch organization skills.
I don't know about everyone else, but I wouldn't mind if these videos were an hour! You're so good at the whole experience and I love seeing all the stuff!! Take your time - show it all! Keep up the awesome work on here - and on the podcast!
Patrick Martin agreed!
Always fun going treasure hunting. What a huge storage unit. That looked like it may be a salesmen’s case of straight razors. Very cool if it’s complete.
the four note xylophone like instrument was used on passenger trains by conductors to make announcements or when meals would be ready to be served
I had the game "Don't Break The Ice" as a kid. Thanks for the memories.
Same here, very cool!
John, the red soft side pack has barber razors not switchblades.

NJ THer switchblades are illegal to carry in most states. Not illegal to own. Some states like Texas and Louisiana, you can own & carry legally.
Yay....I wasn't the only one!
@@cockroachdeloach5093 It figures that the stupidest states would allow things like that.
John you got one hell of a deal on all those units. The stuff you are showing has much value and you must be feeling really good on the purchase. Thanks for sharing the great deal. You let us know they are out there to be got.
When will you list more stuff on the website?
It is amazing what a difference someone like yourself with good organizational skills and excellent work ethic can make in a day. Keep up the good work i see $$$ for you all through this deal.
Who else could watch hour long videos on this? 🙋♂️ Amazing video you're definitely making your money back and then some jeez
I know I would
At 6.06minutes in there is a bowl set with red striped. Hazel Atlas candy stripe. I so wish I could have them!! What an absolute dream unit.
I would get lost in there for days! So cool to think of all the history in these units and all of the treasure you'll find around every corner!
Exciting stuff! The fence/gate looks like it would work great as a background for taking pictures of vintage clothing. Best wishes! -Steven

I would LOVE to buy the fishing reels. What an incredible locker.
Yeah John is very organized and I would love for him to come and organize my house.

At 20:45 the tan box with foam head and wig are probably French and goes together. Not worth a ton $30+ but kinda cool.
John i believe those are strait razors not switch blades
Yep! I don’t know what I was thinking lol
I love the cast iron and camping stuff! That jewelry will do awesome in lots. I’m sure you’ve already done that. Lol. AMAZING STUFF!!!! 💕 I’m so in awe!!!

There is so many unique items in this storage locker man, you are gonna make a killing on this deal in the long run
John is racing against rent. Go, John, go!
Tim Costner true I hope he can sell through a whole storage unit worth in a month, he’ll save his money on rent and make back his money and profit.

Correct. They were old straight edge razors. Good thing they weren't switchblades. Can't sell those on eBay

So nice video! would be heaven to look trough all the boxes,
Wow you are good at organising things! Looks way better than before
lol, i try. If my wife got her hands on these storage units, it would look like an actual store!
@@cincinnatipicker omg you two are great haha clean up team
The glass vase is Fenton Opalescent Cranberry ... pretty desirable to Fenton collectors worth somewhere between $25-$50 if I had to guess.
I'm your glass guy! The red piece you showed was made by Fenton. Its pattern was simply called swirl and the color is cranberry opalescent. It has good resale value if you know what you have and how to properly identify and list it.
Woo Hoo! Bubble mailers! You have some cool lamps in there.
CP - Maybe end rent at your current office and move into these three new storage units for the summer. Congrats on the incredible haul.

@@cincinnatipicker no worries, snooze ya lose. Trying to catch up on watching vids they caught my eye.
Just went to your site and wow man, your really really hooking people up! Very cool.
All sold out so far but awesome deals so far
Those MCM lamps right inside the door look like drip glaze Royal Haeger ... a set like that is worth really good money.
WOW! What a great variety and soooooo much stuff!!!!! I think you probably got the best end if this stick, grest buy! All that jewelry, i love going through jewelry bags/jars, i would be in heaven!! Let me know if you dont want to deal with it, I'll take it!!!😊
I think you got most excited about the bubble mailers. lol
I remember that Transformers glass frame from the fair back in the day. I always wanted one.
I know time is money, but man it sounds so fun to research every little treasure in that thing!

You hit the Mother Load John! Congratulations and well done! Will you even need to Garage Sale again? 🤣
My bro-in-law sold a Cutco knife block by itself on Ebay for $80, 5 or 6 years ago. So, them by themselves are worth money!
What a great storage Unit.
I would love to buy that old caddy and the coasters and the baseball cards
Hey John, since he’s got tags from Ohio Valley antique Mall in there, maybe ask him if there’s anything left at the mall. Or did he already pull everything out of his booth? They are opening on May 12th again so you’ll have access.

How much fisher price toys did you end up with?

Hey John is there a way to ship that bissel vacuum? If so I would be interested in buying it. Let me know and thanks for the awesome content!
Samantha Sloane the handle should pop apart or come unscrewed you make it easier. My mom had one
Curious if you are checking through the jewelry for any gold or silver pieces before you sell it in lots? Great video congrats on your big purchase.
I watched this and want to know if you still have the straight razors
Wow..Just frickin wow.
Please put more on your website for those that Can't use Ebay.
I think you got a great deal and will definitely make more then you spent!!
Went on you're ebay site couldn't find the fishing reels id love to see them/ buy them im also in ohio which is pretty awesome
Those tintypes might actually be daguerrotypes, can be pretty valuable, might be worth checking out.

Interested in French Binoculars (im French living in PA), also the Budweiser sign and any sports cards you might find
How do you think that it is possible to have all this and then lose it? I don’t understand sometimes!!
Looks like a crt for a cnc punch press control. Any A86L type part number? I could be wrong but looks similar
I'd be interested in the fishing reels as well

Looks like you can expand into 4 or 5 booths with that haul.
hey john where is your booth located? I am in Milford and would love to come shop and meet you one day!
You should get Matt to buy some of that. Have online auctions. They are huge right now and I will even help you moderate it!!!
