A V6 Ferrari halo car was always going to suck. The last turbo halo car was the F40, which sounds great for a turbo engine. This is just depressing and seeing this on kids posters will feel so weird. A turbo v6 isn't much better than EV. I dont need noise if it sounds like nothing.

The road car’s engine already revs to 8500 rpm and the 499 taps out at about 8000. The F80 revs to 9200 rpm but you can’t hear any of it since the European noise regulations are so strict.
Let’s hope the F80 sounds similar to this once people start straight piping it. People have to understand the F80 doesn’t sound good because of laws not because Ferrari chose it to

This is what the F80 should have been. They should have "Valkyried" this into street legal production and have this as their halo car. It's the fastest Ferrari ever made, period. Even over the F1 car.

Probably I'm the minority here but I really miss the old V12 Ferrari engine, I always loved the 333 SP, and Ferrari still has in their road cars V12, probably a couple but it's not dead yet.
i think its pretty much the same engine but with WAY worse sound and somehow the car ended up 200kg heavier then the Valkyrie who has a 1000hp N/A V12.

Not a chance. It's still a LMH with downforce drag limitations. Just with the HP limit removed. Even derestricted it won't be as fast as a normal LMP car. Hell, it won't even be as fast as the lower powered regular 499P because of the set up.
these racing v6 are so different to GTR v6, gtr noises agressive, so powerfull, this v6, alfas v6, nsx sounds week... look to the megane rs v6 that uses same gtr v6, this is like we would like to hear

The saddest part is that Ferrari F40 LM (Competizione) has 720 HP. And this thing has constant power of ~710 + 160 HP boost (for 7 seconds if I recall correctly). And this car is UNRESTRICTED MODIFICATION for extreme lovers of such cars. So, it's a sham,e that 1980-s race car has to this day more power, emotion in sound and character than even current UNRESTRICTED versions of modern race car. Joke.
As a V6T it already sounds meh, given that a VR38DETT sounds better (at least in my opinion), but for race car standards it is ridiculously underwhelming. It sounds great at idle though. I wish the best of luck for the exhaust manufacturers tasked with making the F80 sound good, after seeing this it's become clear to me that it's a very tall order.

This particular V6 sounds good in the 296 roadcar, the GT3 and this, if it revved higher it would be amazing.
296 is one of if not the worst sounding GT3 racers, same with the 499P but the road car sounds nice I'll give you that.

Stunning design, but the enginesound does not win my heart.
True dual exhaust setup it's more efficient and lighter when running twin turbos. Sound suffers as a result.
One sacrifice sound for power while maintaining efficiency. Sounds are wasted energy, but we love the energy.
