😁 thanks mate, yeah, I love Wipeout anyway but playing in VR is just next level, I know it's older tech still but, yeah loving it so far! Thanks for watching!
You got a website? Seeing those shelves of ps1 games, I'm interested in seeing what you have. I'm collecting the full set and about a third collected so far.
@AnotherNormalYorkshireman no website, but most of what I have is on my insta account now, plus, I did a video on my whole ps1 collection, not the biggest but some good ones in there..
Yeah, tried it last night, felt a bit more slow and clunky compared to the other games I've tried so far, but definately more creepy in VR, I've played before so knew what to expect but it really does add extra tension to it! Thanks for watching mate!
Yeah, last Bank Holiday Monday! Only just collected this week with all that's been going on, but its been a welcome pick me up! Thanks for watching mate!
Congrats Paul. Fantastic prize He's got blood and truth for sale btw 👍 You reminded me as well. Try battlezone. That one's a ton of fun. Would love to see a vid with your thoughts on VR once you've given it a good play 👍
There's a possibility I might be going back this week (if the weather stays decent!) so might pop back in and pick up B&T.. And yep, it's on the to do list a vid on VR, need to properly dive into some of these games first!
Well I started with Astrobot Rescue Mission which is amazing! I've had goes of Wipeout and Star Wars Squadrons too. I tried Farpoint and struggled a little the first night, but have played it a bit more now and quite enjoying it, a bit basic so far but a lot of fun! Thanks for watching mate!
Decent prize that mate, can't complain at all! I've been on the fence with the VR headset but I'm sure I'll grab one eventually - Gran Turismo does look good to be fair but a few other titles look decent, too. I'm next to useless at watching vids when they go live these days so just watched your last 4 in a late night binge session 🤣
Haha, thanks mate your viewership and support is appreciated whenever it occurs lol. I was the same with VR, intrigued but never enough to shell out the money with how pricey it was/is. But yeah, im a convert, love it now!
I really enjoyed this video, Paul. The RUclips algorithim decided to put your video in my recommended watch today, I am happy I found your channel. Your collection looks awesome, nice and modest. Do you only collect games you like, play, have attachments to? PS congrats on winning your prize! i will be binge watching your content here in New Zealand, this weekend, mate!
Ahh! Nice to know the algorithm puts me out there occasionally lol! But really happy to have you on board, so thx so much! Yeah, I collect mostly what I want to play or try but at an affordable price, I cant afford to splash the cash on absolutely everything I see so I tend to take a fairly sensible approach to collecting! Hope you enjoy the other videos and thanks for watching!
@@pixelpaul_pxp A lot of collectors will usually fund their game hunts by buying bulk deals from eBay, Marketplace, pawn shops, or garage sales, keep what they need for their collection, sell the rest, the profit would go back into their collection. Not just video games but, electronics, antiques, vintage shirts, cards etc, it is a healthy way to finance the hobby, without using personal finances. You can always haggle prices at Cash Converters, pawn shops etc to get better deals too.
@@pixelpaul_pxp I have watched several RUclipsrs such as; MaximusBlack, SeeJayAre, Secret Game Stash, Mr. Wright Way, Retro Rick etc, who will go to thrift stores, pawn shops, garage sales, they will bundle items of value like those scintific calculators, vinyl, vintage shirts, other games etc, keep what games they need for their collection, then sell those items to make a profit, those proceeds would go into buying games they want for their collection. I also saw that Mr. Wright Way likes to trade for what he wants, he will hoard his finds, then take them in to game stores for credit, trade them in to get what he needs for his collection. They are really awesome strategies to help mitigate costs and ultimately their collection becomes free. Just thought I would share some tips with you.
@CalebSmith-do9jd so a bit of back story, I had an original collection which I sold on just before my little boy was born (we needed the room/space), and it broke my heart! So I have done the whole buy/sell/flip thing before. I do occasionally find stuff cheap, try it and then sell it on, but in general I buy to keep now...
Congrats on the win. My son has had the VR since day one, it’s brilliant and loads of fun. Only problem with me is (probably my age) it makes me feel a bit sick😂. That’s retro games store looks amazing, I think my wallet would take a hit in there lots to pick at👍🏻.
I think I had the same issue on the first night playing it, but I seem ok now, I think it can depend on what you are playing sometimes, or just getting used to it. Really enjoying it though! And yes, really worth a trip and having a look, I could spend hours looking around and chatting lol. Thanks for watching mate!
Congrats mate that's a fantastic prize! VR is expensive to get into but if it pulls you in it definitely becomes a mainstay like it has for me. Just some tidbits that I do for my headsets is that I keep them away from sunlight as it can damage the lenses ofcourse and I experienced motion sickness for around 2-3 days playing some normal to intense stuff till my head got used to it all, everyone is different in this and I hope you manage well with that...Star Wars Squadrons I've not played but I imagine it to be maybe quite fast and quick turns so it might be a little disorientating if it's your first game you try. Hope you enjoy it Paul and would be great to see a lets play the games/vr video next haha (watch your tv and games) :D
I've only had it a few days but yeah, im a convert already! I played Farpoint and Star Wars that first evening and yeah, I felt a little queasy that night but have played since and not had a problem. Astrobot and Wipeout are incredible too! Hoping to do some VR related content now but will need to work out how with my limited recording ability lol. See how it goes! Thanks for watching mate!
@pixelpaul_pxp That's fantastic ot makes me want to now get some of the psvr games physically would be cool to get a whole bunch of them, I definitely want to try astro bot because the one on ps5 was so good! Nice I look forward to seeing that, I sometimes comment and just wanted to say you've came a long way in the short time I came across you despite all the hard challenges you are facing atm, your videos and everything are getting better 😁 Take care!
Nice win always nice to win a cool gift for sure
Definately, especially something I've always wanted to try! Thanks for watching!
Well done! Wipeout in VR is unreal. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a PSVR sleeve for you!

Nice win, you need to get super hot it's a simple looking game but outstanding
Yeah, seen that before and been tempted but never played, will definitely look to try it on vr. Thanks for watching mate!
Wayhay well done matey.. I remember playing Resi Evil Biohazard on PS VR.. wow that was an experience and a half lol
Yeah, tried it last night, felt a bit more slow and clunky compared to the other games I've tried so far, but definately more creepy in VR, I've played before so knew what to expect but it really does add extra tension to it! Thanks for watching mate!
Nice one congratulations.
Thanks mate, and thanks for watching!
Amazing! Congrats on the win! I think I saw this on FB the other day from Lees Games page 🎉🎉

Well done dude, what a win 🎉 I’d start with something with as little movement as possible and get your VR legs before trying a driving game mate
