I havent been surf fishing in 6 or so months because ive been favoring the kayak, but this video makes me want to get back out there. what time do you usually get out there to start your day? I am intriqued by the top water jerk baits, i might have to try those out next time im out there. Great video, keep them coming!
Thanks man! I usually try to get out there by 5am to feel for the weather yaknow. Scope out the water to determine what I am going to throw. Ill be chucking baits by 545am - 6am. Then whatever happens from there... Happens haha.

There's a map somewhere on SDFISH.com that tells you where the cuttoff is for fishing along the coastline.

After using the jigpara n it workin would you still go for the 40g or would you use a lighter one
i throw the 15g jig para mini with a bladed treble in the surf religiously with the exception of lc’s. if you can get past the mackerel, the halibut and bass love it

First day out in the surf in 2 years and you fuckin slaaayed it. Not that I've been catching giants but this is why I love the surf. You captured it well. Congrats on that spot fin. And that yfc... biggest one I've ever seen!
What rod are you using for the 40g? I want to use heavier lures but not sure what rod to get.
